I purchased this tablet because I was going blind reading my news apps on my phone. The tablet is big enough to make reading easy but not too big. I downloaded all my Android Apps from my phone and found out the internal memory was to small. I deleted many apps that I didn't feel I would use like Waze and now everything is fine.

Let there be no mistake, this review is being posted by someone that finds it difficult to get excited by most electronics. This device is no exception. Yes, it's a very nice android tablet, and yes I have owned and still own several different tablets (iPad original, all the way to the Air2, waterproof Sonys, and several other Samsung devices). Honestly, my preference remains a laptop or (gasp) a desktop. Surfing is fine on this device, reading email is equally practical, but excuse me for saying that all of these devices are lacking for producing contributory output. Give me a keyboard, or l'll simply abstain. Touch screens never fail to disappoint in this area. Yes it has a great screen, the backlighting is very good. The digitizer is way better than par. Android is every bit as good (if not better than iOS)... and I would not hesitate to recommend...just don't expect me to gett all excited about it.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab A specifically for use with my Echelon Connect spin bike. It is perfect, perfect size, perfect picture, sound and price. It pairs well with my bluetooth speaker. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

This is my 2nd Galaxy tablet over the years, and just like the 1st one it functions like advertised. The 5.1 operating system works great for what I use a tablet far. Very versatile and the 10.1" screen meets my needs. I have always got good service from Samsung.

I purchased this tablet for everyday use to read digital magazines (I subscribe to several car magazines in digital format) and it works great. The ease of use and graphics are awesome. The 16GB of internal memory isn't much if you download a lot of apps, but you can insert a micro sd card for more memory.

This is the second Samsung Galaxy in our family. My husband had an Ipad which always seemed to be locked up! When we finally couldn't get it unlocked and neither could the Geek Squad we got him a Galaxy! He loves it. For an older person it was easier to learn and run!

Purchased for using with Microsoft Word. Bought a nice little keyboard with the trackpad great feature of Androids with this particular device is that you can use a mouse which is an extremely critical thing when you're old school editing documents in word. The version of word that is available for Android leaves me wishing that they would go back to the old days when they were not cloud-based and there is some problems occasionally trading documents back and forth between my Windows laptop but this is more a problem with file sharing than anything else. Then I'm really happy with the tablet for the most part sometimes I wonder if it isn't a bit larger than what I probably would have been happy with I might have been happy with something or around 9-inch. Once I added some protection in the form of a case to keep it from being damaged it got a little heavy but with that said is many times easier to deal with than my laptop and I've made a habit of taking it places with me where I never would have taken the laptop because it is so small and easy to deal with and the fold up keyboard I bought has proven to be a very good value for me.

This is mt second tablet from Samsung. I have owned others but prefer this brand.

This tablet has an awesome picture, the screen is big & it is everything I wanted in a tablet. It took only a few minutes to set it up the way I want & connected to my wireless router with no problems at all. I have had Samsung tablets before & really like this version.

I'm a Samsung user. Have been for quite some time. And the Samsung tablet is not much different from the Samsung phones I've been using for years. If you love your Samsung products you love this tablet. The 10.1 inch screen makes it great for just about everything

This has been such a fun and wonderful device to have. My kids have been telling me that I needed one and I finally caved and they helped me find this tablet and now I wonder why I waited!, It is easy to use and has been so useful and fun. It was a great purchase.

This tablet offers the best one can get from Samsung. It is easy to use and easy to get rid of the bloatware. Great tablet for kids because it has Kids mode. Easy tablet to use for the less tech savvy. Great tablet for the casual user.

Bought the display tablet. For a cheaper price and it withstood my 3 year old throwing it jumping on it and hitting it. But having a case on it helped. Would defenatly buy again!

My mother has had the same tablet for over a year and hers runs perfect. I've had mine for 6 months and it's in great condition. Runs well, works well. I've had no issues with touchscreen or speed. Very very good, especially for the price.
