Enough flash memory to keep going
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this, primarily, as a reader, but I wanted to be able to do other things as well. This replaces an older Amazon Fire 8" and Nook (Samsung) Tab 7". The Fire was under powered even as a reader, and the Nook only had 8gb of flash, which eventually meant that it could not update apps. This tablet has enough processing power to do what I want (more than just a reader) and, with 32gb of flash, should have enough internal space to keep apps up to date for quite awhile. Also, this form factor fits nicely in a jacket pocket. So far, it has lived up to expectations.

Good for simple tasks.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this my senior year of high school because I wanted to get everything in order since I was applying to many colleges and it worked perfectly fine. Now I'm using it for my side job, which includes emailing people, making Instagram stories/posts and many other things. It's really worth it, cheap and simple to use. I would say I recommend it to a person who will use it for simple tasks. I don't really use it to take pictures or record videos since the quality is very low, so just a heads up.

Happy. Good for casual Kindle read or browsing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good value and functionality with this as a substitute for a full notebook. Needed a single hand held lap reader for Kindle books, streaming music and occasional browser. Good battery life. Easy for Android users with Samsung add ins. BT pairs nice with Bose Q365 and Plantations Savvi. Controls work well. Auto dim is not the best. Picked up a tri fold case for a better grip (get one with open button areas) and SuperSheildz glass protector. All is cost is far less than the new fire readers and you'll get the full Android OS. Love it so far.

The Stone Tablet and The Fun Above!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I like this Tablet. But I have a Few gripes with it, Such as the Terrible Quality rat e as of Taking Pictures. I Also have been Observing Some Games Such as Angry Birds 2 in Which The Game Can Get Kind of Laggy, Some Apps Can Crash. I do wish it had a Stylus. But oh well. Its Overall Strength in Terms of Dropping in Are Pretty Good, But I would Still Recommend a Case. I Should Remind Everyone Buying this Tablet That The Android 10 Update is Available. So I do Recommend Downloading The Update...it Takes about 1.5GB

Galaxy Tab A
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Galaxy Tab A - we have bought several of these for our family. They are easy to use, reliable, durable, and the battery seems to last longer than other devices.

Love the expandable drive for more storage. Tons of support with apps and games. The 8-inch size is more portable than a 10. Good battery life

Works perfect. Replaced a VERY old original Tab.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast. Very easy to use. Not nearly as complicated or "needy" as an iPad. Android is mature and works w/o problems. Many, many APPS to do whatever you want. Good price, also.

Nice tablet. Easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(Note: I never give anything top rating unless it is perfect.) Nice tablet. Easy to use. It is missing some of the buttons I had on my previous Samsung tablet. MInuses: The "buttons" are now on the bottom of the actual screen, so you can accidently touch them and kick yourself out of what you are doing. Pluses: The battery lifespan is definitely longer than my previous tablet. It's a little hard to find files you created -- similar to my previous tablet. The Samsung tablet is a good product, great for Internet browsing, going on Facebook, informal Zoom meetings, and listening to music.

Fast little tablet
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m on my phone a lot for work and I use it now more than any computer or laptop to basically do everything. I purchased this so that I have some back up in case I need to log into something and I can’t get off my phone. I was very wary about this, but it’s been really handy. It’s fast, it’s small so I don’t have any additional bulk in front of me, and does everything I need. I haven’t had any problems with it. In fact my brother bought one to do some programming for his car stereo and it works great.

GREAT PURCHASE!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought this tablet on May 2020 and loved it so much that I bought the exact same one a yr and some change later. It's easy to use and the battery life on it is wonderful;it doesn't over heat. I use it for e-mail, YouTube, Spotify and to surf the web. The latest updates let you get to what you need on settings with ease. This table comes with original white Samsung charger. I recommend this tablet for all ages.

Old Lady Buys New Tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my beloved but geriatric GT-N5110 (circa 2013 or 2014) that has been a workhorse. I got this one before my old one has actually died so I can go back and forth till I get used to the new one. Having some trouble with getting this one to see a memory card and read some comments that maybe it actually won't accept one. I put an older one in that was 32 GB and it wouldn't see it. I put an older one in that was 64 GB and it could see it even though 32 GB is supposed to be the limit. Still fiddling with this and haven't checked it with a new 32 GB card. Not sure if it's YouTube or Samsung but one annoying thing I have noticed is it won't stay in landscape mode when one Youtube video ends and I want to watch another. It goes back into portrait mode even though I have set it to landscape. I really do not want to have to deal with this every time. I like that the width of the tablet has been narrowed to 4.75" since my first one which was 5.25". It fits my hand better for one-handed holding and the screen is no smaller. The power cord is about 30" long. There may be people out there who like it that way but that's too short in my opinion. Like so many phones and tablets this case is super slippery to hold. I immediately put a lot of strips of blue tape all over the back and sides to provide some traction. Why can't they just add some texture so that holding them in your hand doesn't make you worry about the slippery things being in constant danger of being dropped?? Oh yeah. Because they want you to pay $40 for a case.

Good tablet, esp when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It lacks some of the features of the S8/S9, etc. (I do not mean actual calling capabilities) that make it a little more inconvenient to use. Example: When swiping down from the top, you cannot click on Wi-Fi and select a network. You have to open the settings menu. Overall, it's a good tablet with a quick processor, good screen resolution, and great battery life.

Excellent value for this solid tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A to replace an eight-year old Nexus 7 that was no longer charging properly. To be honest, I am a bit surprised at how little Android tablets have advanced, especially when compared with iPads. I'm spoiled by my iPad Pro, but it costs nearly 5 times as much - so, the Galaxy Tab A offers tremendous value. For basic media consumption, web surfing, email checking, social media, Kindle reading, and Android gaming, this tablet is perfectly fine. I have no regrets purchasing it and would recommend it to others looking for an economical Android tablet.
