I have the larger 9' inch or so ipad but it was just too much added weight in my purse so when I saw this smaller 7 inch galaxy I went for it! I also like it better because I have a galaxy phone too so I am familiar with how some of the apps look and work.

I bought this tablet to serve as my wall mounted home control screen and have been very satisfied with the device. It feels very nice in hand, the back almost feeds rubberized and easily fits into 1 hand. I got the device on sale for 140ish so I wasn't expecting beast of a tablet but for my intended use it checked every box. The only option I would have liked to see was the ability to mirror screen to TV, which wasn't a deal breaker for me. Screen is sharp and colorful - another win from Samsung.

The tablet has a sharp and attractive display. The performance is improved compared to previous models, and the ‘Recent’ touch button, which shows the recently used applications that are still running in the background, is a very useful tool for closing such applications thus extending battery run time. One item, however, is rather disappointing. The weight of the device is quite substantial, for its size. It weighs as much as a 4 year old tablet, the Galaxy Tab 3 7in. No improvement there.

the tablet is easy to use and has loads of features and apps available . it is fast and unbeatable for the purchase price . a great value and a smart buy .

It is easy to hold for games and internet use. it is lightweight for carrying and packing on trips and takes nice pictures.

Nice tablet good performance it has a FM radio inside limited in storage only 8GB. Can use SD card. Good screen

Because of it's expandable storage (using an SD card), all my photos can easily be stored and viewed in one place; exactly what I was looking for. Seems to be pretty speedy, too. The small size will make it perfect for travel - I can leave my iPad at home and still check email. It will easily fit into a purse or tote bag. I wish the camera had a higher resolution but I'll be able to easily transfer pics from other devices. Can't wait to start scanning and transferring my "family album" photos. My husband has the larger Tab A and loves his, too.

Bought it for my Dad And he absolutely loved it! We looked at different brands and still this is far the better choice. The price is reasonable considering the features you get from it.

This is a entry level Samsung tablet with that being said Pros - easy to use Battery life is good Cons- WIFI cuts out all the time Screen is mediocre speaker clarity is eh I bought this to surf the web, stream Netflix, Pandora and connect to my Logitech Orion keyboard. Surfing the web and checking your emails and Pandora works great. But if you want to stream movies it's a whole different ballpark. Netflix constantly reloads to the point it is unbearable to watch a movie. My Orion keyboard will not connect to it. Now for both Netflix and Logitech it maybe a firmware issue......BUT, I have a Samsung Note 4 that has no problem maintain a connection with Netflix or Logitech. You have to look at the screen dead on or it will look washed out. Taking outside, forget it, the screen is very hard to see. Sound - You will find yourself using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. You can hear it, it just doesn't ( to me) sound all that great. Ya, I am pretty picky about audio sound. But I knew the sound would not be that great going into this. All in all if you want something that isn't that inexpensive for surfing the web checking emails, streaming music. It should be fine Using this for streaming movies, I would look elsewhere. I wanted to return this, but missed the window. No ones fault but my own.

For the price I paid, I am not as impressed with this tablet. I normally purchase the Kindle but because certain apps that was desired we went with a Samsung to get the Playstore. So far durable, it moves really slow sometimes and has difficulties connecting for charge or wifi. I don't know if I would recommend to others unless they are for sure wanting an app that requires playstore and can't be got through kindle marketplace.

I replaced my Kindle for this smaller, faster tablet. It is lightweight, you can dim for night. With the power saving mode on, I get 2 1/2 days worth of battery. I use it daily.

This tablet is better than the Kindle I had before. It is much lighter and thinner and also faster than the Kindle was, and has an SD card slot as well. The only thing I don't like is sometimes when you take the tablet out of airplane mode, it takes a little longer than it should to connect to Bluetooth headphones or you have to manually select them from the Bluetooth menu. I didn't have this problem with my previous tablet or my iPhone.

It is easy to read on this tablet and easy to hold when I applied a "finger holder" on the back. I also used it as a camera on a recent trip to Europe and it was easy to handle and carry around. I was quite disappointed that it does not have a flash. I bot the tablet the day before I went on vacation and I was also disappointed that when I returned from my 2 week vacation it was on sale for $30.00 less and the store would not give me a rebate.

Purchased to use while traveling. Light weight, portable, good camera. Prefer to use this with public wifi instead of smartphone or iPad

Small size, adequate camera, expansion slot, easy Android OS. Good apps for basic tasks.

I have numerous Kindled and while they are great, I couldn't do everything I wanted to do with it. This is the perfect size and I can add a memory card to increase it to 256GB!! Perfect! It moves fast and is responsive.

Light way, easy to use and will need to buy micro SD card for more storage.

Very fast tablet. It is portable and does a good job. I was looking for something small and dependable. This fits my needs perfectly.

kept going back and forth between this one and the kids Galaxy tablet. It was an easy choice to make once I had both side by side and was able to see the screen quality no problems so far my 4 year old nice loves it .
