Actually, I bought two of these tablets in 2019. One for my wife to use for her YouTube content consumption. Lol. The second one is a backup in case she breaks the first one. Lol. She been using this tablet now for 3 years hence holding strong. While the unit itself doesn't get updates anymore. It is still going well for my old wife as it is simple and straightforward for her usage.

Had this for 6 months and use 3-4 hours per day for email , searches, newspaper and book reading, occasional video. It is right size and screen is fine for all my uses. 3 minor annoyances. Email often will not open in portrait mode, though always in landscape. Wallpaper using photo from gallery spontaneously shrinks to 1/3 of home screen. Doesnt do that if using standard wallpapers. Recently, Chrome mysteriously freezes up and I have to either disable an d the reenable it. Or shut off tabletand restart. Nothing catastrophic so for the $129 I paid for it I am way ahead in my view.

Light weight. Great price, great quality. I like the compact size. Fuss free.

Works quickly. Perfect for surfing web. Lots. Of memory.

Upgrading an old Samsung tablet. 32mb internal memory and running on android 7.1. Added 128mb memory to store e-books. Processor is fast enough and the new C charging port for a fast charge is what I was looking. Samsung products are good and reliable in my opinion. I like this tablet.

I bought the tablet for my 6 years old son. It is very fast and the apps dont crash. My son uses the tablet for games, So u can figure out how good is a tablet like this with those games bought it for 150 dollars and cant regret!

This is a great tablet for the price. While it isn't the fastest tablet on the market, it is quite speedy for basic to medium usage. The battery life is excellent and screen display is crisp.

This is a great tablet! I mainly just watch Netflix and eread. It’s quality of picture is great! The only downfall is that the speaker is small and it’s on the bottom by the charging port, poor placement of speaker.

It is a nice little tablet, a little sluggish occasionally but not too bad. Fine for casual use and the back camera has a flash which is a big plus.

I went to Best Buy with my kid and we were looking for tablets since the old android tablet was slow and useless. I wanted an ipad but I got this tablet because of the price and other features. And its not that bad. My son is happy because he can download games and watch YouTube videos. If you need a protector, Otterbox is the one I got for this tablet.

I couldn't afford the best, but this tablet works great for everything I need. Best $200 I've spent in quite a while.

First I'll say that I did my research before making this purchase visiting several sites including Samsung, Best Buy, CNet, The Verge and Consumer Reports to get an idea if this table was right for me. What I found was that it was fairly difficult to determine if the Galaxy Tab A8 was right for me because it was so hard to tell which of Samsung's offers were fast and reliable. The Tab A8 was the perfect size, price and appeared to be fast but I couldn't really tell when stacking it up against comparable Samsung tablets of the same size. The deciding factor ending up being the product year (Galaxy Tab A8 2018). Unfortunately, that meant nothing because the 2018 model appears to be the 2017 model with a few modifications. The result is a device that's almost fast enough but not quite there and what really irks me is that it's stuck on Android 7.1 which lacks many features that are present on the Galaxy S Phones. If you're looking for something fast and has recent updates choose another device.

Really great device LOVE it easy to use! Also love Samsung profiles.

This is a nice tab for the money. This is replacing my old Nexus 7, the only thing that is taking some getting used to is the headphone jack plugs into the top and the charger into the bottom so if you have both plugged in is is a bit awkward to hold with wires coming out of both ends .

My review of the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra is I give it a 10. Great phone even for having it just 1 day. Imagine how great it will be after a few months.

they love their tablets. great for homework or just playing games. the price was also great. also, arrived on time. have no complaints.

I bought one of these because my Tab A 7" is so slow and unresponsive. The same day I bought it, as I was setting it up it started rebooting randomly. After rebooting, I frequently got pop-up messages saying some app had stopped. When I cleared the messages, I would then get the "Such and such app keeps stopping" message. Apps would freeze and then the tablet would reboot yet again. I finally (the second day I owned it) did a hard reset, and it wouldn't reboot completely; it got stuck on the "SAMSUNG" screen. Nothing I tried would turn it off or make it boot completely. I started searching online and found that this is a common Samsung problem; many people have experienced it with quite a few Samsung phones and tablets. I chatted with a Samsung rep online who said I needed to send it in for repair. The next morning I took it back to Best Buy and was given a refund. Apart from this major problem, it looked like a good tablet.

I have only good things to say about the Tab A. It has never had any issues and I enjoy it a lot.

This is an affordable tablet which provides all the functionality needed. Good battery life.
