Was looking for a lower end tablet for my kids to play with and mount in the car. This tablet fits that perfectly. Sure it's missing a lot of tech that the higher end tablets have but at the price it's hard to beat. Perfect tablet for browsing YouTube, streaming TV and movies if you're looking for something that isn't an iPad.

My Samsung-Galaxy Tab A 8.0 was easy to set up and so far has been functioning quite well. While I ordered a silver model I received a black one which I ended up just keeping. It really made no difference to me. It's very fast compared to my older tablet from 2014. It's a great value for the price.

The tablet is easy to use and feels light weight. I love the display quality.

I purchased 2 of these tablets for my children for Christmas. I waited until they were on sale, but the price was still a little higher than I had wanted to spend (that's the only reason for taking a star away). But the associate said these will last longer and has a lot more memory than the ones I was originally looking at. So far they work great for my kids and their games.

I bought this tablet almost 3 weeks ago. Mostly, I use it to read my emails, access apps Bible Gateway, Whist Online Card games, and Xfinity stream. I have enjoyed using it to watch some of my favorite TV shows because of its screen size. So far I am quite pleased with it. Perhaps the speed is not the greatest but for my use, it was an excellent purchase.

I love my new tablet. It was easy to transfer things from my phone over to it [apps, mainly] so now my phone battery lasts longer. Now I can use my tablet for creating things I love and sharing them with friends! It works fast, has an excellent interface, and works with just about any Bluetooth keyboard!

This review is for someone that uses an average tablet, not a computer genius. I bought this for my wife who is an avid reader and used a kindle. Once her kindle slowed down I thought I would get her something that did a little more. She's not disappointed. This tablet had alot of bonus perks for her. The one she talks about the most is the fact she can text message on it..even with her phone turned off. She also loves that she can wirelessly transfer her photos and videos to it from her phone (she has Samsung phone). She's not one to keep her phone in her hands but she does keep her reading tablet near at all times, so it helps all her favorite apps are available on this.

Latest model has the Nougat OS which can upgrade to the latest Oero OS when it's available. 32gb system storage + 32gb card memory I installed separately = 64gb of storage. Plenty of room for my apps & files. Boots up fast and haven't had any issues.

This is my first tablet and I have really been enjoying it. If there was one thing I could change, I would love to have the back button and the minimize or whatever the other button is called that are located on either side of the home button to where they light up. Good thing I know where they are located.

my granddaughter uses it more than me, she loves it. Works great for videos on netflix, Hulu, Disney. She did her school work on it this past year. Has held up with multiple drops and being tossed anywhere. Only had to replace screen saver once lol. Holds power pretty decently for as much as its being used everyday and its age.

Upgraded from an older Kindle which had become otdated and slow. The Galaxy Tab is quicker and more flexible in applications. I need to do more researh, as there are apparently several unmarked trigger spots near the frame which will change the window you are viewing. Overall a very good tablet.

I bought this for use at school to be able to help us conduct our FitnessGram testing with our students. This tablet allowed us to be able to sync our sound system to one tablet instead of constantly having to connect & disconnect using our phones. We are highly pleased with this tablet so far.

My family and I are Huge SAMSUNG GALAXY FANS.... So we had to get these Tablets For our kids.....Perfect for Learning and playing educational games too. Most of all perfect for long car trips, the battery life are amazing......I also recommend getting screen Protector and kids safe cases too....

I replaced a very good brand new Fire HD tablet over what I deemed a security issue that might one day be problematic that few people care about. The Galaxy A Tab 8.0 is wonderful. I had an old Galaxy Tab 4, good but now old (retired). The Tab A has a nice screen and does what I want it do.

Purchased for my kid and works great. Perfect for young kids and adults.
