I DROPPED MY SAMSUNG S2 ONE TOO MANY TIMES. SAMSUNG IS ABOUT TO RELEASE TYE S5 SO I PURCHASED THE TAB A TO USE UNTIL THE S5 IS OUT FOR SALE. THIS TAB A IS SURPRISINGLY FAST AND VERSITLE. I THINK THAT IT WOULD BE A GREAT DEVICE FOR HOME OR SCHOOL USE. REASONABLY PRICED. GREAT VALUE.

Speed is great camera is good perfect for my little gamer

I bought this to accommpany the GoPro system. Works great for that, plus so much more. It's compact, yet large screen allows everyone to see the video at the same time. And details are so defined as to allow me to to see my mistakes as well. training two Aussie pups is challenging at times.

This is one of my best tablets yet. I love it. It is worth your money.

If your phone is too small this tablet is just the right size to see everything and still fit in a purse or travel bag. It does more that your phone (except make calls of course). The only thing I would change would be that I would get the silver instead of black. I fumble for the backup button on the side since it is not easy to see.

I am really happy with my Samsung - Galaxy Tab A 8.0"tablet. It is very responsive, has a great display and a long lasting battery. It also charges very fast, so when the battery gets low it is ready to use in a short time.

I was so excited about this tablet when I first got it and enjoyed the crisp picture and fast response time, but not long after purchase, I had issues with the screen. I would freeze or "jump" and wouldn't close out of a program. I have to shut down entirely and restart to get it to "stop talking". I'm so sad about this. It replaced a Samsung Note 8.0 that I had for years and years and didn't give me trouble until earlier this year (and that was mainly that youtube would stop working or the resolution had to be super low to play videos). I wish I'd brought the protection so I could at least let them check it out, but I feel like I got a lemon and I'm kind of stuck with it. Anyone else have these issues?

This is a great tablet for Older people with diverse needs and desires that are not met by entry level alternatives. It worked with problems right out of the box, has great battery life between needing recharging, and a dazzling set of installed and available applications.

Fast. Holds charge a long time. Nice convenient size.

This was a gift for my husband. His old Tab E from Verizon died just shy of 2 years. This tablet is much more responsive. The screen is brighter and clearer. Battery life is great.

I bought this to work with my new Phantom 4 Pro v2 Drone. It was a third of the cost of an iPad Mini and does a good job. I have had Samsung tabs for 5 years and they have always been good androids. This is no exception.

Needed to replace a cheap tablet that was 4 years old and it had a dead battery.I was also in need of more space.I love this tablet and every feature it has to offer.The most outstanding faeture is its battery life of 10-12 hours.The reduced price was also a big plus!

I love this tablet, easy to use and performs smoothly. Just don't like location of power button, most cases cover the button and makes turning it on awkward. Don't like too many preloaded apps that take up memory. Would be nice if it came with a pen like the samsung note.

Good tablet and fair price . Battery life is good . Screen spec. is okay at this size . Not super fast but is okay Home button . Fix and not lighted Really need one more speaker ! It works , keep headphones Handy

I had an 8" and this is just a tiny bit smaller, but so much easier to carry around. I use it for reading, blogging, and playing a couple of games. The speed is good, and the screen is very crisp and bright.

Delivers on every count. Easy to use. Easy to handle. Fast enough for the ordinary online browsing that I do. And the camera is good. I knew what I was getting and I got it.

Bought this to replace a dying TAB S. It does the job for surfing, e-reader, etc. Battery is very good and the power management is great. The 8 inch size is a little smaller than the TAB S (8.5") but it is suitable.
