I am only giving it a 3 star rating because it is average when compared to other tablets out there. Know what you want a tablet for and make sure this will fit your needs, if it will do what you want then you can count on the durability and ease of use to make it a worthwhile investment.

Excellent Value, Still

My 4 year daughter has been using one for the last 2.5 years and it is still working! It has been thrown around and dropped and spilled on and it freaking works even now. Very good longevity and reliability. These are not the fastest ones in the market anymore but for pure value for money, Samsung Galaxy Tab A is great, still.

Good tablet if you’re an Android fan

Unlike iPads, when you exit an app, it still runs in the background taking up resources such as memory. You HAVE to get an “app killer” app from Google Play to release the memory of a “closed” app, or you will soon run out. Also, I don’t know about phones, but Android is a clunky OS for a tablet, at best. Apple’s iOS is far superior for a tablet, and seamlessly integrates with your Apple phone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Make or take a call using your iPad, or play a video on your watch.

The resolution is better but still bloop full HD available. This is a general purpose everyday ise tab for kids and adults. Pros: A) Ticks all basic requirements B) USB-C charging is a relief C) Battery life is good Cons: A) No light provided yet on either side of the home button B)They still have the Home button, phones do not have them C) No wireless charging option yet
