I got this tablet as a test for our company and it worked out so well that the company bought 14 more. Easy to setup, can have multiple users with restricted access and the tablet is extremely fast, plus has up to date Android O.S. and gets regular updates on the O.S. from Samsung as well as updates on the apps from Google Play Store. Definitely recommend this tablet.

I bought this for my youngest child as he was now old enough to use. His sister has the older version of this same tablet. There is a bug currently in this version of Android that does not allow you to set any applications as allowable under a restricted profile beyond the stock apps. So I had to try to kid-protect my main profile on this tablet. Otherwise it works well. The new chip and expanded memory make this a very robust and quick tablet.

I had a smaller tablet for my wife, but she wanted something a bit larger, so after much research, I settled on the Tab A. This was a solid, reasonably priced tablet. What drove my choice was that my wife watches movies on her tablet, so that was the deciding factor among many different tablets. Glad I purchased it.

Amazing tab for the money if you can get it. Between the memory card you can add, to the overall speed of the tab it is great for any kid's needs. I think it is great for an adult too, however I bought it for my kid to use for games, and research for school. He is on it daily... his last one lasted almost 3 years with daily use, I expect this will too.

32 GIG fast, never buy a book, see mirror of Great Android Galaxy Phone feature. Can link to Android phone for notifications, Grear value compared to newest hen, great for reading, use library for EBooks, never buy again or clutter house w/ non- archival books. Partner jealous battery outlasts hers w/ lightning speed & intuitive features.

This was my first Tablet I purchased I wanted a screen size which was in the middle, But did want more memory. Screen is excellent only issues I could not remove some apps that were installed and using this tablet can be heavy at times when using for long periods. Also would recommending getting a sleeve/cover for this tablet. Like with any phone or tablet.

Fast and smooth operation great camera lots of storage

This little gem couldn't be more perfect to meet my needs. Using it for mail and social media, reading books or websites, and handles all the audio and video demands I throw at it smooth as silk. Love it! Have a family member rather unhappy with their older tablet - I think buying them one of these will make them completely happy with the upgrade.

Fast, good looking and affordable tablet running the current android rev. Enough RAM and Drive space so I don’t have to worry about running out of room and/or apps and games freezing or not running. Runs o365 apps flawlessly. Routinely stream Amazon music to to my Bluetooth headphones while playing games. Very happy with this purchase.

I struggled with getting a tablet vs eReader, and ultimately landed on this tablet. While I perfer e-ink screens, I wanted more dictionary options. I use this tablet primarily for reading eBooks (purchased and via Overdrive/Libby) and studying Japanese (using Moon+Reader, NHK Easy News, GoldenDict, and Anki). The ability to look at manga and use a flash card app (Anki) sealed the deal. Since I don't do much social media or other tasks on here and it is mostly reading/studying, I can go easily a week or more without charging. I use the blue light filter, the power saver, and it just keeps on going; even more if I turn off wifi. I also purchases a matte, anti glare screen protector and it is now great for reading. The downside to using it for reading is, it's a bit heavy for as small as it is. Otherwise, I recommend it as a possible e-ink/eReader option.

Good Size, Good Battery, Light Weight, Compact, Affordable

Bought this to use as a reader (my wife has a B&N Nook account), size of this tablet is perfect for this use. I have all Apple products but this was so much less expensive than the iPad Mini 4. So far I am pleased with the size and performance of the Samsung tablet.

my 10yrs old daugter uses it for her kids games-so does her mother- no problems wihg lagging, it takes beautiful pictures, all kinds of uses that the ipad didnt and at half & the price is great!!! - a ton more gigab. 32 compred 8 for half the price, & the best all i can hook it up to my Samsbug tv and watch toytube/amazon prime/hulu.!

I've had a Galaxy 4 Tab for a few years and it got so slow, I wasn't even using it. But when I saw a deal on this, I snatched it up. Its best feature is the 32gb memory it has, allowing me to install many apps I had to deinstall on my old one to free up memory. And it's still the best size for ebooks.
