Good basic tablet that is great for Skype and games

This tablet is an affordable alternative to apple,

Used it for a year constantly. Then a 3 year old has had it for almost a year. This thing has been dropped in water (momentarily), sat on, banged around with no screen protector and a foldable flimsy case. Will buy again

I love my new tablet. Easy to use. Reasonably intuitive. I only gave it 4 stars because my keyboard doesn't work correctly. all my other device keyboards suggest words when typing, this one doesn't. The setting is correct but the keyboard doesn't do what it is set to do. Minor detail. All else is good.

When my 5 year old Samsung tab suddenly died, I quickly went to my nearby BestBuy and replaced it with the current model. With the help of the Samsung rep I've been able to salvage most of my data - lesson learned is to back up to the Samsung cloud!

I use this light on my drone,, I could see my drone during daylight flying I was about to sell my drone because of visibility, until I bought this light it has 5 levels of light from bright to really bright and strobe,, now I love my drone

We bought this for our 12 y.o. son. His old tablet screen cracked and he was due for an upgrade. It's a great tablet for kids to use for internet research, watching videos, doing simple research projects for school, and even listening to music. It's not a power tablet, but great for all around use.

Bought this tablet for my mom and she uses it a lot to help with work (along with a Bluetooth keyboard) and she also uses it to watch video as well. Its been working as intended with no major problems and for the price its worth it!

I found this in Dedham after the tablet I went for was out of stock. This was much better than what I had gone to Best Buy for on this excursion. Pre-Christmas buying; I'm going to start in July this year. This time though, I found a great deal!

Perfect size for watching shows and playing games.

As I finally get use to a new tablet, it has taken a while. Sometimes it goes blank while I am using it and have to push the starter button several times before it comes back. I have it set to stay on 10 minutes, don't understand why it's doing that

I bought this tablet 2 years ago and even after dropping it on my tile kitchen floor and busted the screen the tablet still works. Screen was replaced, all internals still worked. PROS: Great value for the amount of money the time. CONS: Can have slow response times.

good price... but disappointing browsing the web is excruciatingly slow slow slower. unfortunately Samsung has used the TAB-A designation for multiple models... with different specs. Look for the newer models... not this one.

I bought this to read all of my epub books. Works ok but it is definitely in the 'inexpensive' you get what you pay for range. Use a micro USB port which I hate (connector can easily become loose and nonfunctional over time), but again, for the price, it does the job.

I helped my friend purchase this tablet for himself since he was finally getting around to upgrading to some touch device, he still uses a flip phone, and this worked out great. Simple to use and new enough that he will be able to keep for years.

What more can be said that hasn't already been said by many users. A great all around tablet for paying my bills and reading my emails and searching the internet. Also, at a Black Friday price. I'm still a happy owner after all these years.

I recently updated from a 5 year old Nook tablet with only 8 GBs to this Galaxy Tab 8 and it is so nice to use! It reacts quickly to commands and has plenty of space for downloads. I am still learning new things and loving it.

Got this after my old one started acting up (however, I still use the super old one to read Kindle books). I primarily use it to play games and occasionally check email/browse. It's been great.

I tried too many android tablets, but I couldn’t find any android tablet as good as samsung. You wont regreting getting one of their tablet. I got two of these for my kids. They are finally not complaining of their tablets. I recommend it

This tablet has (can be updated) the latest Android OS and provides good storage space. The RAM is sufficient for regular browsing and basic games/apps. I mainly bought it for my parents who like to read the news and browse the internet.
