I have been looking for a tablet for awhile. When I saw this one I read the reviews and decided to go for it. Glad I did. It is true about the pixel but this is not a $1000 item. It has a good picture and It is fast. I can take it around the house without lugging my laptop everywhere. I would buy for gifts for my friends and family.

Tired of doing all my messaging, e-mail and internet searching on my small cell phone screen. When at home, I Dock my phone and use only my tablet. I use Samsung sidesync for phone specific apps (I can even answer and make calls.) and a messaging app on the tablet. E-mail is of course not a problem. Love an 8 inch screen for my internet browser and long e-mail attachments. 16 gb will give you almost 11 gb in user storage.

I have had 3 galaxy phones so I decided to try a galaxy tablet. This tablet is easy to learn and the perfect size. It has all the programs such as word and power point so that I can use them on the road. The best tablet I have ever used.

This tablet is absolutely perfect for someone looking for the quality that Samsung consistently offers, along with the functionality needed in a basic tablet! The screen is nice, good camera & the sound is 10 times better than what I expected! Another great product from Samsung!

I traded in my 1Gen Nexus 7 and I am pleased with this tablet performance. It is fast and can run all of the apps that I normally use like Chrome, Kodi, Youtube, etc. However, It is at the low end in the resolution spectrum but I have very little issue with that. For its price, I would recommend this device.

The picture quality is outstanding. It is lightweight and very easy to use. I would recommend this product.

I had no experience with a tablet before purchasing my Galaxy Tab. The customer service rep suggested it since I use a Samsung cell with Android system. Tab is easy to use -- plus Samsung offers free classes to learn how to use various tools on the tablet, which was a great "plus" for me. Long lasting battery. Great for games and emails... Try it - you'll like it!

Great tablet for the price, small but packs a punch.

I purchased the Galaxy Tab A with the 8 inch screen which I find is the perfect size for writing emails and watching movies. I also scanned a rather large collection of photos that I browsed with family members to help identify them. My scanned photos looked great on the Galaxy Tab.

The tab A is awesome, its a convenient size and its fast. Its perfect for web browsing and using apps. The aspect ration (4:3) is not ideal for watching media, as it has to letterbox, but that's not what this tablet is designed for. I'm only knocking this to 4 * because I'm unimpressed with the speakers and sometimes its not as snappy and fast as it should be

So far, so good with this tablet. Yes, the resolution is fairly low and lower than premium tablets, but it's really quite fine and the screen is bright, vivid, and highly readable. It's running Lollipop cleanly and quickly, and it comes with quite a few nice extras as well (e.g., Office suite already loaded, free space on OneDrive, special apps with special offers, etc.). Very pleased so far, especially given the price of the tablet and with the extra promotion that BestBuy is running to save another $100. Nothing to complain about here. Solid tablet at a great price; works beautifully so far!!

This is mine, so happy with it!! LOVE IT!! fast, quiet, connects to wifi n turns on fast, can buy micro sd card to increase storage capacity too, so that's a bonus too!! Absolutely love it!! I use FB, pintrest, games, google searches, youtube, and more with no problems at all!! I have several apps open at the same time and no lag at all!!

Easy to Use, Great Battery life and it has a perfect size

This product is very useful to play games and take care of business it's speedy and dependable. Doesn't freeze and holds charge well

This tablet is very user friendly and has all the qualities for gaming, and social media that a moderate user would require. Since I am not a constant gamer I can't say with certainty that it would function any better than what I use it for. Battery life is great and so far I have had no issues whatsoever.

Bought this for my 4 year old son. Works extremely well for his games and videos. It is very intuitive and easy to use for him. ABC Mouse.com works great on this unit. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Well, I definitely made the right choice for my tablet. This unit has great graphics and is plenty fast for everything I wanted it for. I actually use it as a second station on my high end navigation system on my boat and it handles all the tasks effortlessly via the WiFi connection to my system. Battery life is outstanding and the screen plenty large enough. Still looking for that elusive lifeproof case for it though.

I have had this tablet for about a month now and love it. It if functional and fun. It is easy to use and customize, while at the same time powerful enough to do all the tasks I need it to do. If I had it to do again, I would purchase this same tablet.

Was looking for something cheap and efficient. Love this tablet it is fast, works great, the battery last a long time. It isn't too big either which makes it very portable, I am able to put it in my purse. The display screen is nice too, that it always very important to me to have a clear screen.

i needed a upgrade from my old samsung tablet, and this one was a great chose. a lot faster then my old one and picture quality is amazing!!
