The Tab A 8.0 is a decent size tablet for reading and the occasional gaming. I read about 1-2 hours a day and the battery is very long. One full charge with 1-2 hours of reading can last me for 8 or 9 days. For me that's all I need. I don't over charge my tablet or turn my tablet off after I finish reading. I just let it stay in sleep mode until I pick it up. The expandable storage is a plus but I haven't had any use for it so far besides movies on a plane trip. It comes with Microsoft Office too and 100GB of OneDrive for free. UI is slightly smoother compared to the Tab 4.

It's less in store. Anyways, this makes for the perfect gps/music storage for your car. Yes you will need a microSD card but they are cheap enough anymore. After about 4-5 years my little 7" makeshift GPS tablet finally went down. Good news is all I had to do was pop out my 128gb microSD, put it in this one, and all was well on my music and maps. Of course I had to log into my Google play store library and install all my favorite apps, including GPS, and voila, this little guy beats the socks off any of the GPS units out there now, with the exception of the in dash ones of course. I'm still a pauper, not a prince when it comes to affording such luxeries attached to the rest of the in dash units. Anyhoo if you're in the market for a GPS unit, consider making your own with this or something similar. P. S. Make certain you buy one with gps/glonass capability, it doesn't need to any higher resolution than this one unless you're looking to brag, system storage doesn't really need to be higher than this one, that's what the SD card is for, maps and music. Most are equipped with Bluetooth already so you should be good there.

I still am using this tablet after a couple years and I love it. The camera works great, and it runs great! Some features I thought I would use, I never did like Facebook doesn't run good at all on this. Also word processing not so great. I use it mostly for playing android games with high graphics and very big files (Last Day Earth Survival) and my game play is smooth usually with no issues! I also used it alot on trips to watch downloaded movies an they ran smooth. speakers were not loud but with head phones i still enjoyed using it.

Best Buy and Samsung was join together to build a value on this product. I could say its "A Solid" product or "Works Flawlessly" but we already know that these two companies build and sell only the best. That is why buying this from Best Buy is important. You get the best price! and all the service you need to learn how to use this product. It is a great value and works flawlessly --- You will not be disappointed if you take one home as a gift for you or your friend.

Used IPad for years but in just a few days mastered navigating thru my new tablet.

Resolution was too light for me on the Tab A. It looked like a white haze over the colors. I returned it. Spend the extra money for the Samsung S2, if you want to stick with Samsung. Once you see the difference in the clarity of that resolution on the Samsung S2, you will not go back! But yes, the S2 is more money. The Tab A functioned well though, comparable to any Samsung phone. I liked that it had a mini SD slot. The battery life was about 8 hrs on normal use. But resolution was important to me...so I ended up buying the Venue 8 7840. I did my research and found out the resolution was the best one out there at 2560 X 1600 and the thinnest for an 8" tablet.

My nephew absolutely loves his tablet. Its fast, enough space for his games and just the perfect size.

Easier to take with you. A lot cheaper than an iPad. You can do the same thing with it without spending a lot of money. Bought one for myself and my son

This tablet has been absolutely amazing thing I came here to look for the model number and realized I didn't do a review sooo two years and 9 months later this thing performs as is brand new. This tablet was listed at $199 and I signed up for Visa pay so I got $50 off plus another coupon so I saved big on this one I think I paid under $112. Next time around I definitely go for the 32GB.

This is my first tablet and it's pretty amazing the camera is really ok, it could be better but it works perfectly for the basic stuff. The apps function perfectly for my daily office work. I build schedules and check and send emails on the daily instead of using my phone which is more distracting. Great product overall!

This is the most smartest device I have purchased. I recommend it to any one that loves social media it's awesome!!

I purchased this tablet for my son after he damaged his former iPad. I was looking for a less expensive alternative, however I didn't give up any of the features he enjoyed. It is very easy to navigate. Great Tablet!

Perfect size tablet for carrying around. Great tablet for internet, streaming video and every day apps. Not fast enough for fast action video games. Micro SD slot can handle 200 GB card, very nice feature for picture storage.

Tablet is quick light and as well as suprisingly intuitive. Wouldn't recommend to someone who spends 3+ hours as I found the screen a little too small to fully enjoy
