Granddaughter Loves It.....

Bought a kid proof case for it and it seems perfect. Very kid friendly and she is able to video chat with me anytime she chooses. It keeps her occupied for hours. Prior to buying it I did some research and the comments led me to this particular one. Good choice.

I will however, recommend a hard case for protection. Unfortunately they aren’t made to last against 3 and 5 yo’s. Otherwise the product is worth it if you need a good device to help in those times when you need a tablet.

Perfect for entry level.

The entry level Samsung Galaxy Tab A is perfect for my needs on certain apps not available in the Apple App Store. Plus, Samsung makes some of the best electronics our there. Mainly will be used for office apps and streaming.

NOT USB C

We got it for traveling with our kids, so they have movies. I went with this one instead of the kid tablet, because it seemed to be USB C. The images they had up at that time you could kind of see the bottom of the tablet and it appeared to be USB C. I even showed my husband and he said the same. Today I was finally able to get it out of the box without kids around and to my surprise it's micro usb. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. 1) Samsung why would you still be using micro usb?; 2) At the time of purchase not only did the Best Buy site not say, I researched it and nothing no where clarified.... Of course now it says it everywhere. My husband and I both looked into it and couldn't find info about it. So now I need a different tablet and won't be able to utilize the Black Friday or cyber deals. The price has gone up about $30, and to get the one I need/want now it's going to be over $100 what I spent.
