I owned an older Galaxy Tab A from the time I purchased my new-at-the-time Galaxy S5 smartphone, so I was overdue for an upgrade. This Galaxy Tab A was blazingly faster than my old tablet. Migrating my old settings and apps were a snap, almost automatic. I was happy with my old tablet, and I'm even happier with my new one.

There aren't many options for 8" Android tablets right now, but this one should cover most people's needs. You just need to be realistic about what it is. it's a $100 tablet. The screen isn't the best but its good enough. The speakers are on one side (The bottom) and not very good, but they do the job. I got this to keep at work and use for consuming media (podcasts, spotify, some video) at my desk, so i don't have to use my cell phone. So far it is doing the job well.

Bought as a replacement for the Samsung Kids Tablet bought for my grandson. Much sturdier, and faster. Glad I upgraded!!!

Great little tablet to use while you're in bed or somewhere comfortable. Not to small compared to samsung's previous lite tablets but not too big like their galaxy tabs. The only thing that I would say is a downgrade are the lack of physical and touch buttons at the bottom of the tablet. There is no physical home button and the menu+back buttons are integrated into the touchscreen now instead of being in the bezel. Other than that, it's a mighty-fine budget tablet.

A fast responsive tablet. Easy to down load apps-can use like a phone without a contract just need wi-fi.

Very good tablet. Still using to this day and has not slowed down one bit.

Nice brought it for son for at home school and it was fast and easy for him and the right size for him (8)year's old

Using it for kids. Has better options for games as well as controlling the downloads with the family link.

I bought this for my sons 9th birthday. We were unable to have a party being in quaratine. So we splurged and spent the party money on the present this year. The price on this tablet fit our budget. He uses it for school apps and games. He loves it. I love it because it has a family link app that connects to my galaxy phone. I am in control without physically touching the tablet. So at home or away I know what's going on. We will be purchasing another for our 7 year old for her birthday.

Nice size easy to use. Using the book cover stand, it’s easier to use in horizontal position than vertical.

Bought the tablet and had no problems. Apps run pretty smooth, battery lasts. Effectively shows movies and TV shows.

I bought the tablet mostly for games for my grandsons. I also do the games. The tablet seems pretty sturdy, the battery seems to hold up (probably because it is still new), the brightness and look of it are good. The icons are organized. My only complaint is that ads come up too often. And stuff are sold in the ads which is not good when young kids use it.

I wanted an 8" tablet and this is a perfect. Easy to read and use. Only drawback is that it is slow pulling up websites.
