I got it for my 8 year old. The speed is nice. It's not flimsy.

Paid a great price for the tablet. It was a gift and unfortunately it had slid off the counter and the entire screen was cracked. I did buy a 1 year warranty and Best Buy gave me a gift card for everything I paid for with the cracked tablet. I just bought another one to replace the cracked one. Thank you Best Buy!

I finally got wi fi and got this as a birthday gift for myself. I absolutely love it! It is so good to be able to stream movies without worrying about a data cap! The picture and sound are perfect. I actually think i prefer the sound system on my tablet to my home stereo! And it is so super easy to set up!!! Very happy customer!

I admit, I am not an Android fan, but since I never used one I figured I'd give it a try and learn the system. I purchased this honestly, just to play a game with. I never expected it to run a terribly slow as it does. I've tried every online hack I could find to "speed up" the tablet, and I am finding I have to manually clear the RAM all day long to keep the tablet running even at a useable speed. It's a functional tablet, but don't really expect to do much of anything with it. It's horribly slow, to the point where you will want to throw it against a wall sometimes.

Its a great tablet, good speed (only 2GB of ram though), works well for streaming and video games. If your looking for higher quality on sound, go for the more expensive tablets through Samsung. This is a great starter tablet for light use.

I love this tablet it does everything I need to do and the some. It's fast, easy to use, has plenty of memory for storage and apps, it's downloaded speed is top notch and the price us unbeatable. Okay, so I only bought this to replace a dying Kindle Fire tablet, and my needs in a tablet are very basic - storing/reading recipes and games. That's really it. Although this tablet can lag sometimes, it does exactly what I need it to do, well. Samsung has never steered me wrong (although I'll admit I haven't always been loyal, and I'm changing that).

Perfect size and runs fast! Would recommend to a friend!

I needed a new tablet and have always liked Samsung. I have never had any issues with my Samsung products and this tablet is no different. Set up was step by step and very easy. I can read, play games, check email, and do my everyday all on this one tablet. I would reccomend and would definitely re purchase.

I need a small enough tablet to fit in my pocket for work. I work in the hospital, and I am unable to utilize certain religious-orientated books with me because of the constant need to clean what I bring into the room. So, a tablet was the best choice since it is a hard surface. I didn't want an iPad mini due to cost. So, the Tab A 8.0 was the perfect choice for me. I was excited at the new sleek design, no more home button, and best of all, how compact it felt in my hands. Not too small enough where the texts on screen would be un-readable, but the prefect size compared to a 7-inch device. Well, problems began because the lower part of the screen was not working. I would try to press any area of the bottom, but nothing was working. When I would turn it to landscape mode, the lower part of the screen would work, but when placing back to portrait, the lower end would not work. Defective product, highly disappointed. So I ended up returning it.

Purchased for my DJI drone. Works great, but you have to download the APK from DJI and install as it won't install the DJI app. Still, awesome for my purpose. Most important reason for picking this tablet? Brightness. Guaranteed best to pick Samsung for your drone remote. Trust me. I went through 3. You won't be disappointed.
