Perfect size and weight to hold with one hand. Unfortunately, the back surface is quite slippery, making it necessary to get a cover for it, which then adds both bulk and weight.

Excellent Android tablet. It's very snappy and connects well over Wi-Fi. Mostly used for reading books, so the various book apps like Nook are useful. It's a good screen size without being too huge to carry.

I bought this for my young nieces who lives in Mexico. We set it up here in Los Angeles and its works great in Mexico. They are using it primarily for school which is be done from home. Their mom loves it.

Awesome for the kiddos! Good battery life! I was able to find a pen for the tablet on Amazon so the kids can use with the learning apps. Worth it and affordable!

I mainly use this to read books and comic books and it is perfect for that. While it's also good for gaming (Microsoft's Project Xcloud is AMAZONG on it), I think if you want a tablet to read on, this is a great choice.

I bought this as a gift for my aging grandfather. He loves how easy it is to use. It plays the games and apps he likes without issue. This is not going to run high intensity games well. You get what you pay for.

The primary reason I bought this tablet is because this size tablet works well for me reading in bed. I also use it to play games, check my email and Facebook while sitting in my lounge chair.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8" 2019 is not Full HD which was a drawback compared to their 10" model and does not have any sort of fingerprint/facial recognition on the device. This means you would have to use a PIN or Pattern security authentication. I mainly got this tablet to watch Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, listen to Spotify and read my textbooks off the Kindle app. Since the resolution of the screen was not up to par with today's technology I can't recommend it if someone is wanting a Full HD display in a small form factor device. The device was definitely nicely built and comfortable to hold but the display quality wasn't nice at all.

I upgraded my Galaxy 4 and am pleased it. This galaxy is lightweight. The lighting is not bright. Am going to have my old tablet serviced and pass it on to a child who needs one. I love Samsung products.

My mother loved the gift of the tablet which I sent to her from your order to another state = Colorado. I live in Arizona. The point of complaint is that I tried again and again to get help through the website LIVE CHAT to install the free virus protection that came with the purchase. Your system doesn't make it easy to understand how a person who received the device as a gift can access and download that free protection. This annoyed me and we were never successful. My mother lives in a remote location so a local Best buy is 1 1/2 drive away. She doesn't have a car.

Got this for my son on his birthday! So far its been great like all of my Samsung products! Battery life is good as well as display...my only draw back is that some apps and websites aren't compatible. Other than that perfect

A really good tablet for the price. Good for basic stuff like watching videos and reading emails. Battery life is really good and can last several days depending on use. Not the best out there but gets the job done.

Purchased this as a gift for my wife. She does a lot of reading and this tablet works well for that. She also uses it for social media and online shopping. Very good battery life.

This is a replacement for my wife's old 7in Tab. I have found Samsung products to be excellent value. This unit loads fast, has an very nice screen and, with the additional microSD, loads of memory.

Really like it. Had an old Samsung that wasn’t connecting well and was losing battery quickly. Battery lasts a long time. Have to push harder on screen to select things than my 5 year old tablet.

I previously had a Samsung tablet but wanted a newer version. This Galaxy Tab A seems to be a good tablet and you can't beat the price. Its well worth the price. Would definitely recommend it.

Not a bad tablet. Got it for my kid. Has decent battery life, good screen. It’s pretty slow to load apps and stuff, but for 120 bucks you can’t go wrong. Way better than Amazon kids tablets

Gave this to my 8 year old for Christmas and still holding up. Quality is what you would expect from a Samsung device. Typical ease of use in a Galaxy device.
