Better than cheap tablets, worse than good tablets

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up on sale for a price I thought might be worthwhile, partly to play one particular old game (Space Invaders Infinity Gene) that I can’t play on iOS anymore. Happy to report that works well, save the screen surface making it a little difficult to slide my finger as smoothly as I can on my iPhone. However—this is still a cheap tablet, just better than the no-name brands I’ve tried before. It’s still a little randomly slow and crashy in a way no iPad ever was, and I don’t know if it’s the tablet or Android or some combination of the two. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter too much—and it is better than the cheapies. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign in to Samsung’s cloud. It’ll work best if you just sign in to Google and disable and delete every app that you’re allowed to and not going to use. It’ll do you alright, probably.
