This is my seventh Samsung tablet. I got the Tab S 8.4, the Book 10.6 (with the Windows OS), the Tab A 10.1 16 GB, the Tab A 7.0 8GB, the Tab A 8.0 32 GB, the Tab S5e 64 GB, and now this is the Tab A7 32 GB. Obviously I did not "need" another Samsung tablet, except for one main reason, and that is the fact that the front camera is centered at the top when the tablet is in the landscape position. While the Book 10.6 with the Windows OS also had this feature, it tended to shrink the picture a bit when recording videos, and being a Windows tablet, the videos were harder to upload to Youtube. I wanted this one with a bigger picture on the screen when self-recording videos, and I am able to upload to Youtube with the luxury of using the Android OS. I also very much like the specifications of the processor in this tablet, the Tab A7 32 GB. Now having said all that, I happen to have an application that tells me the frame rate of my 1080p videos. If I am using low-light conditions, it does not really record in 1080P 30 fps. Instead, the frame rate is significantly lower. However, if I have good lighting, its recording frame rate is almost as much as 30 fps. Really, when played back, the videos look just fine, although the camera seems to be hunting for the right exposure, so it keeps jumping a few times, going to brighter and dimmer a little bit (not too much, though). Who cares, really? I'm happy with the device! It does what I wanted! I got this wonderful tablet on sale for around $150.00, and I am getting the video recording features that I want without having to pay a large amount of money for a very expensive laptop, for example, that has 1080p recording capabilities for the front-facing camera with a landscape-centered lens. This item beats just about anything else for the money, particularly because it records in 1080p with the camera positioned the way I want it to be. I don't know of any other way to get what I want for the money, and I must say I'm very satisfied!

Order two of these one for my mom and one for my dad. They use them every day. They seem to be a pretty good tablet definitely recommend

This has been a good tablet for me. It's neither too big nor too small, screen has good color and speakers sound better than I expected. Cameras aren't very good, but that is mentioned in all the reviews of the product, so that wasn't a surprise. It's got excellent battery life at about 14 hours per charge. I use it for quick browsing and reading book pdfs with a few videos here and there. I don't use it for gaming, so I can't speak to how well it does with that.

Samsung can't go no where but up! This tab serves it purpose especially knowing it will receive updates.

Sturdy, light, wide, and very fast tablet. I've had tablets before, but this one is like having a miniature laptop.

Tab A7 exceeds all of the metrics. The 10.4-inch 1080p screen is vibrant and colorful, the battery easily goes for 10 hours or more of video, and the quad-speaker system sounds tremendous. It’s surprisingly thin, with a metal chassis that feels stiffer and nicer than the plastic-clad Amazon Fire tablets. There’s just enough bezel around the screen so I can comfortably handle it without worrying about errant touches, and it’s light enough so I can even hold it in one hand for reading. It even has a 3.5mm headphone jack for when you don’t want to disturb anyone else

Works well - does a great job for music tabs etc - might get another

Really nice size, weight tablet for the money. The android interface works just like an android cell phone, so it is almost natural to know how to navigate all the apps and features. Bought it for my uncle to use as a portable monitor for his security cameras. Can also stream TV apps and play games. It works great! 1 star deducted for screen brightness. Trying to watch the hometown Minnesota Twins while grilling outside was impossible... i would deduct 1.5 stars for brightness of i could. Don't expect it to rival an iPad, consider the price. It's a good value for $199 on sale.

Love my new Samsung tablet, its my second one I purchased from Best Buy in the last four yrs. The price is always the lowest you can find along with the best service if you need it thru the years you own it. Love the large screen as it is so life like, and the colors are so bright. The features have plenty of options to make it easy to use, and make it user friendly.

The tablet was a great choice for my girlfriend. It has a decent storage capacity for games and an excellent screen size for streaming videos and movies. It also accommodates great sound quality and quick reaction times. I believe that the tablet in question is very reasonable and a good compromise for those looking for a good tablet at a fair price.
