    Custom fits the A8 tablet like a glove. Texture is smooth but non-slip. Would give 5 stars but the front cover does not always stay square to the tablet when closed leaving the exposed edge unprotected. If the spine was made a bit stiffer it would eliminate this problem.

    In this case, I paid for simplicity and sturdy functionality. Other cases offered weird shaped construction to get a simple job done. If the case doesn't crack in the next 3 years it will have been worth the omg price of 49.95. It really does what I want it to do with simplistic fashion.

    I'm not sure how people are saying that this holds the tab. 10.1. it is way too big for my tablet and that is what I have. Also for $50 it doesn't seem really like it's worth that price. I will be returning this for something that actually fits.

    I have never bought a Samsung cover for my past Samsung tablets. This cover is a great addition to my tablet. Looks great and seems very tough. I love that when opening the cover the tablet turns on automatically.

    It has sharp edges and is uncomfortable to hold. Fine to watch a movie and has two positions, but I take the case off when holding the tablet. I would, and will, purchase a new softer case made of leather or plether.
