Great brand, great tablet.

This is a great size for her educational apps and recreational video's. As a testament to Samsung quality: I did a factory reset on her old one and it works fine. I'm now using it as a kindle reader and a recipe holder. :) Even if I could afford an iPad, I would go with Samsung simply because of quality and expandable memory.

This new tablet has better speed, better clarity and provides me with everything I need. It also is compatible with my other devices. The only thing I have noticed is that it drops the WiFi connection frequently.

Screen is rich, bright and deep blacks! Quad side speakers are rich and loud. Long battery life. Cases are cheap, if you shop around. If your already in the Samsung echo system, you can wirelessly transfer apps, pictures, etc. and settings from phone. Maybe you can do that with other manufacturers tablets, I don't know. But it was a nice experience having it set up fully within minutes, including Bluetooth devices being paired during set up. I can't imagine how nice of an experience Samsung high end tablets are, if there bargain tablets are this nice!
