The tablet is more than a tsbket. The resolution on this model is great. Clear concise detail at all viewing angles. Battery life is superb. I use it as an eReader and trust me there is no strain on the eyes. It lasts me about 6.5 hours watching videos at 720p. Yes you can watch at full 1080p and even higher. Overall a great buy for media consumption really great as an ereadet. Popped in my 128gb micro SD card with movies and this baby soars. The only downside is that it does not have rapid.charging. not a big deal because once charged it will last.you through the day. Can't wait to see if we get Android 6.0 on here. Samsung is notorious for being late with updates.

Had the Tab S and it decided to jump face down on a tile floor, screen became a spider web- but still played and has for 5 months. SO, I wanted another Samsung. The S2 screen is crisp, not as many pixels but still brilliant. 32gig instead of the 16 my Tab S has, a micro SD slot, battery life is fair to good. I like it over any Apple product, simply because apples ios update all but bricked my ipad2. I'm pleased with everything except putting speakers on the bottom. Movies and music DO work well as stero and the speakers should be on the front and each side. Or wear earplugs!! I've had no wifi problems, no hanging Web sites, smooth streaming movies- very pleased.

Great tablet. Awesome screen. Transferring content is as easy as attaching a cable to it. It just shows up as a removable drive. Expandable storage with micro SD cards. Battery lasts about 4-6 hrs. depending on what you are doing. Works well with your smartphone as WIFI access point for those times when you need that cell connectivity. Very thin and light yet has a premium feel (metal rim for extra rigidity). I recommend getting a pouch for it rather then a case.

I wasn't sure I needed a smaller tablet or which one to get, but when Best Buy had this one on sale, I thought I would check it out. I was satisfied with the features and liked the size, so I purchased it. What I didn't count on was how useful it would be. This tablet is easy to use, easy to carry and gives the same functionality as a larger tablet. The size is great. It easily fits in my backpack or laptop bag and doesn't add a lot of weight. It's also great to have when you want to look something up quickly without having to turn on your laptop. The only drawback is that there are not a lot of accessories for it since it is fairly new.

I love the portability of a tablet and this is tablet #4 for me. I must say that this one is really the best I've had so far. It's fast, lightweight, and just the perfect size to throw in my purse and take with me. I recommend this tablet to anyone that wants a fast tablet with an excellent screen. I play games on it, surf the web, and check emails. And with microsoft office apps included i can do everything i would do on my laptop. Love it!

I don't know why I waited so long to replace my old tablet. This is fast, lightweight, slim, easy to hold, I'm soooo glad I bought this. I wish there was a way to transfer apps, tho, as some of my games, etc. are no longer available on the Play Store so I lost them.

Love this tablet! It's the perfect size, very lightweight. Crystal clear picture, super fast processor. Battery life is pretty good.

Samsung has built quite a nice tablet that for the first time I can say is on the same level as an Apple iPad. I've used dozens of Android tablets over the years and hands down this is the best Android experience you can buy. Build quality is quite good, everything fits together really well and finish is excellent. Really light and insanely thin, even with a Samsung cover on it. Two features that really stand out are the Amoled screen with deep blacks and colors that really pop and the AC WiFi adapter. If you have an AC router this thing is screaming fast, faster than an iPad Air 2 which is pretty fast itself. Samsung seems to have cleaned up Touchwiz quite a bit, much smoother operation with no lags or stutters in transitions. Also a comment below about tons of bloat ware which is not true at all, there is hardly any at all only two programs for Samsung services and that's it. Bought with the tablet trade in deal with the extra $50 coupon on top so price was $299 which for this hardware combo is a great deal. All in all easily the equal to an iPad Mini and if you don't like Apple's iPad then hands down the best Android tablet available today.

I bought this tablet because i missed having an android device. This is now the best android device i have owned. Battery, screen, processor, and so on are all excellent. Picks up wifi better than any device ive ever owned. Fast, powerfull, and a whole lot less "buggy" than any of the 7 galaxy s6 edge phones i owned (yes seven...in three months..i now use an iphone for myphone) ... I just miss the camera! This one does have a very good camera as far as tabs go though!

I needed a tablet since I travel a lot overseas and space in my bag is key. The tablet is light and fairly thin. Even with a case, it's no bigger than a notebook in my purse. Battery life is good and uses the same charging cable as other Samsung products. The display is great. Vivid colors. Sensitive touch display. I have the Samsung Galaxy 6 phone and the interface is practically identical. Love this tablet!

I have had 4 Samsung tablets previously and this is the best yet. Quick. Beautiful screen. Solid wireless connection. I traded in a 10 inch for this one, had some concern that the smaller size would be an issue. But not at all. 8 inch actually is easier to carry and yet still easy to work on, read or watch videos and games.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is the best Android tablet that I have ever used. In the few months that Ive owned the tablet I have not had any lag, slow down, crashes or heat issues. It is blazing fast with the games I have played and loads quicker. I really enjoy the size of the 8" tablet. Easy to hold and a good comfortable size to watch streaming videos. The battery life is fine. But I'm not using it enough to fully drain the battery to test its duration. I'm coming from using the LG tab 8.1, Asus Prime Transformer prior to that. They seem like generations old in comparison to how fast the Galaxy tab S2 is. I fully recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a great Android tablet.

beautiful and super easy to use. only drawback is there are less case options for non-ipad tablets but even though this is lightweight it's back isn't scratchable metal so i've confidently thrown it willy-nilly into my purse without a case or cover and it always comes out unscathed. so many more features vs. its apple counterpart like more customization, battery-saving features... you know how androids work. i have an iphone so i don't hate apple but certainly happy i got this.

I've read lots of excellent reviews about this tablet and they were spot on. I purchased this tablet as a replacement for a couple of older tablets I was bouncing back and forth between - an iPad 2 and a 7" Nexus. This was a great replacement for both. Light, fast, with an excellent screen, the S2 has been perfect for travel and as my go to format during business meetings.

Wow, what an improvement in only 2 generations. Thin, light, fast, beautiful screen. I can't think of anything else I could ask for. Make sure that the features and performance meet your needs as less capable but lower priced tablets may be fine for you.

I have had this tablet for about a month, and I must say that it has exceeded my expectations. The screen is brilliantly bright and clear. Functionality and processor is super fast with no lagging while slipping between apps and online. While the price is steep, I don't have any complaints about my purchase thus far. It's also super thin and lightmaking it perfect for carrying around in my purse. I got the gold one and it looks very rich and classy.

I use my tablet daily and love it. This is the perfect size to stash in my bag and for reading books. Storage, display, and performance are all great. There is still a lot of features I have yet to use but happy with what I've used so far.

This is the first tablet I have ever owned, and I am very pleased with this purchase. The Galaxy Tab S2 has an amazing screen that makes it great for watching videos and browsing the web. It is also light enough to hold in one hand. The processor is fast and the Wi-Fi connectivity is strong.

Well the title pretty much says it all, its the same as its big brother the 9.7" tab but lasts longer because of smaller screen size. Its a pleasure to hold and to use. Got it on sale for $299 at bestbuy online. Very very happy with purchase.
