Replaced an old iPad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great. The size, speed and weight is what I was looking for in a new tablet. The screen is very sharp, color depth and high resolution. You can’t go wrong with this model.

Best Android tablet I ever seen.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is lightweighted and it runs smooth as my Galaxy S6 phone. The display have richer colors than my old tablet, but I felt the LCD display of my old tablet looks brighter. I was using a 8.4 inch Tab Pro tablet before and I have a good impression on Samsung tablet. The battery life is much longer than my last one, but the volume from the headphone jack is not loud as my old tablet. This is the best android tablet I seem for now.

Wonderful 8" tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this size tablet. A 10(+) inch iPad was larger than I wanted. I previously bought a 7.85" Insignia [Best Buy], but it had (in my view) insufficient battery life. The Samsung Tab S2 has a gorgeous screen, ample (32 MB) internal storage (plus capacity to add more--although it is anything but seamless, an issue (I think) with Android). Battery life is plenty good, although heavy use will make a full day problematic. The fingerprint recognition is far improved from earlier Samsung products. Overall, no complaints.

Wish I Could Give it Six Stars!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to go with the S2 after my three year old iPad Air 2's battery began to die. I've had iPads and iPhones forever now and have become tired with OS10. Right off the bay, I'm blown away by the crisp OLED display. Blacks look amazing with none of the blotching that I've seen on some OLEDs. Text is sharp and colors pop. Even tiny text is easy to read. The 8" size is perfect. It's about the size and shape of the iPad mini but thinner and lighter. I'm not a fan of the rubberized back, but it's in a case, so no problem. The speakers are on one end, so they aren't very loud unless you cup your hand to redirect the sound toward you. Performance is amazing, thanks to an 8-core processor and 3GB of ram. It was running Marshmallow out of the box. Samsung is not known for their quick updates, so I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably never see Android N on here and will be happily surprised if it happens.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 1st Samsung tablet. Colors are vivid and crisp cpu is very fast and the slim design is simply perfect i guess this is the slimmest tablet ever made. Not to mention the awesome battery life and external storage capability. Look no further just grab one for you. I got this in Overstock for very reasonable price. Am very happy

Great 8 inch Andoird tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Galaxy Tab S2 8 inch as part of Cyber Monday deals. Absolutely loving it for the last few weeks. Major Pros - Superb AMOLED display, photos and videos look astoundingly rich and vibrant - Display is super customizable and supports multiple profiles, color modes etc. - Running Android 7 with latest updates - Stunning sleek design and very light-weight. Enough to go head-to-head with iPad mini - Speakers' output is very rich (considering the slim design) - Expandable storage - Decent Camera for a tablet Cons - Battery ! bleeds battery very fast unless kept in power-saving modes - Fingerprint scanner is not that accurate

Great lightweight tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very satisfied with this tablet, its very thin and still manages to have great battery life. The screen is crystal clear and the resolution outstanding. The processor also makes for very fast smooth UI and loading of pdf files. Some other tablets I've used will choke a bit if you flip through a pdf too fast, no issues here.

Best little 8' Android tablet!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is actually the second Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 that I own and still this is my favorite android tablet besides the 2013 Nexus 7. I love everything about it, from the slim size to the beautiful screen and also battery life. It is very little and has a solid build. Now watching or reading anything on that screen is AMAZING!! I would highly recommend to any one looking for an android tablet. Since it is older you can also find them used now for cheaper as well.

The screen is amazing, awesome colors and resolution. Super fast, zero lag, runs all my apps and games with ease. The 8" is the perfect size, my eMagazines look great. Just buy it already!!

Amazing Screen...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having been impressed by my Samsung phone's abilities and bored with my iPad I decided to give this a try. It is a bit smaller, more like an iPad mini, but the screen is very vibrant and detailed. Great for Youtube. I like how light the Tab is and the slightly grippy back. I'd like it if Samsung gave access to the Theme Store from the Tab but as a workaround I use Nova Launcher Pro and Samsung's Good Luck for a custom look. It processes quickly and I can jump back and forth between apps quickly with no lagging. The camera isn't real strong and truthfully I wouldn't mind if there was no camera but sometimes it helps to take a pic of a list, a set of instructions, a label, etc. I just move all my phone pictures to the Tab for storage and a bigger screen to look at them.

The look is so Crisp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the clarity. My previous tablet the Samsung Tab 9.7A, (I enjoyed and blessed my grandmother with it), was in an otter box defender case, which made it too heavy for my purse. What a difference a few inches can make. I love the compact size, even in a case it fits nicely in my purse. The camera(s) is unbelievable, the pictures are so clear. The lighting doesn't bother my eyes. I love this tablet....

Nice Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, really there aren't many things wrong. The few things I can think of are the location of the controls interfere when in landscape mode and the speakers are pretty poor with low volume capability. Tends to get warm in the upper right side in portrait mode as appoint of reference. Now what's great- the Screen is to die for. Blacks are black and colors look awesome. I regret that I didn't get the larger screen. Speed is good with little lag. Latest version of Android is nice. Battery life is decent. Not too bad at the $299 price.

Love the speedy processor!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one cool tablet. I upgraded from a Samsung Tab3. This tablet is incredibly thin and lightweight. The back of the tablet feels slightly dimpled so as not to slip out of your hands. The screen area goes to the very edge of the device wasting no space at all . The screen itself is awesome. Very bright, with very vivid colors, and is great for watching HD videos or playing the newest games. The Octa-Core processor runs all of my games very swiftly and smoothly without issue. The tablet comes with Android 6 "Marshmallow" , but within weeks I was prompted for the Android 7 "Nougat" update. I've owned the tablet for about 3 months now and really like it. The only issues I have is the amount of Samsung bloatware that comes with all of their devices and the Wi-Fi connection is a bit slower than my old Tab3.

Excellent tablet!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an iPad Air that I had been using for a few years but wanted something smaller/lighter to take when I travel as the iPad, with it's case, was still a bit bulky/heavy for what I wanted when flying. After looking at non-Apple options, I quickly came to Samsung. Wanting a good quality screen, the Tab S seemed like a good option. So far I've been very pleased with it. The Super AMOLED screen is great, giving a very nice HD viewing experience. The processor is fast, showing no lag when launching apps or running them. Internet connectivity seems great as well. Love the thin and lightweight design. I slip it into a neoprene sleeve and put it in my briefcase and it adds no real bulk or weight. Been using if for a few weeks and I am very pleased.

What an improvement over my Nexus!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, okay, my Nexus is 6 years old or so, but what a difference! The Samsung S2 8" is incredibly light, the display is gorgeous, and it's fast, fast, fast. I'm relieved that it transferred over my apps, but I'm going to Best Buy's class to figure out all the things it can do and I need to do to optimize it.

Excellent Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sharp screen (way better than my old iPad Mini), fast, and the perfect size that is between the iPad Mini and the iPad are why I love this tablet. I also like that it uses Android like my Galaxy S7 Edge which makes for a more seamless experience. I recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 - 8".

Awesome Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an iPad mini and I am in love! I will never buy another iPad. The resolution is gorgeous, the speed is amazing, and it doesn't have the compatibility issue I had with Apple. I am so happy to not see the storage is full error message anymore!
