I xchaned for Galaxy 10" for the 8" and I am so pleased with this tablet. Being smaller and lighter weight it fits into my purse better. The pictures are much better than my sister's ipad in her opinion. This tablet does everything I need- email, Internet, ebooks, saving knitting patterns and recipes. I seldom use my laptop as this tablet is more convenient to use anywhere I am.

Portability and keeps a good charge. Faster than previous generation Samsung tablet. Visually clear screen and excellent visibility in daylight.

Excellent piece of kit. The screen is great.. the processor is fast and the battery life is superlative. Is it the best small tablet out there? Probably not...however, for the $$$ you can not beat the performance. It performs flawlessly and does exactly what it is supposed to. I have both Ipads and Tablets using the Android platform and the TAB S2 is a winner on all counts.

My iPad 3 was getting unbearably slow, so I bought the Galaxy tab S2 to replace it. The performance is perfect, no more delays, and the OLED screen is amazing - reason enough to buy it. This tablet is incredibly thin and light, even with the matching case. You won't even notice it in your bag. The 8" screen works much better than a 7" screen for viewing websites due to the more square aspect ratio. There is almost no advantage when watching movies, however, because the 7" screen is more of a wide screen, so the 8" just displays black bars above/below the movie. Android also has advantages over iOS, like a back button, a button that allows you to swap between apps without double clicking the home button, and a keyboard that contains letters and numbers at the same time - much easier for typing passwords! The only downside for me is that the battery life on the Galaxy Tab S2 does not reach Samsung's spec. It does, however, still last longer than I should be playing on a tablet on any given day.

Overall this is a fabulous tablet. It is fast and powerful and has a great screen. It is thin and lightweight and we love it. I would highly recommend this tablet to a friend. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my wife has said it has shut down on her a couple times unexpectedly. This has never happened to me so I'm not sure what to make of it.

I was expecting a little more out of this one, but I enjoy this device as a substitute for my laptop when on the couch, bed, on the go, etc. Battery life is good and screen resolution is quality, camera is great. However the software hiccups sometimes and the device can get hot quickly, leading to a performance drop. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't want to spend more on an iPad

The tablet has a really nice camera. It seems to process at a fairly fast speed. Good looking screen. Easy to use.

I got this for my wife to replace her ipad mini. it worked great right out of the box. I was able to transfer all apps and wifi settings from my Samsung Tab A. Nice screen and easy to use.

So I bought this because the 10" version is too expensive. I already have a 10" but it's 3 years old and I'm afraid it will fail. I like the size, the screen is almost as large, but it's significantly lighter, and the new tech is much faster. I tried a cheaper tablet and didn't like the display. I'd buy this again.

Pros: Fast, beautiful screen resolution, lots of memory; good camera Cons: tablet edge is sensitive to touch; just a little large to fit in one hand; camera file is jpg only, would like capture in raw; would like a usb port; wished battery would last longer. I would recommend to buy...especially on sale

Great tablet for the money. Convenient storage expansion. Bought this one for a Xmas Gift. Has double the on-board storage, much faster processor, beautiful screen & much better battery life then my Galaxy Tab A 8 for which I have had for about a year. Worth the upcharge for heavy user's

I love this tablet,don't know why I waited so long to buy it. bought it to play games mostly (free slots) and it is not only great with the slot games, but I can do so much more. I can check my emails, search the web. It is a perfect size, fits in my purse and the battery lasts a long time, even when playing games. Very, very happy with this purchase. FYI the Geek Squad was great in setting it up for me and teaching me how to use it.

I bought this over a month ago. It works wonderfully! Apps load quickly and run smoothly. Pictures come out crystal clear. The camera app also allows you to change exposure, white balance, and the ISO. The battery lasts pretty long with little to no over heating. It's thin and light. Definitely worth it.

The S2 is my first android tablet, and I have been very impressed. The tablet has a wonderful clear display, while the build quality feels substantial despite the tablet being quite thin and light. 32 GB of memory is plenty for most of the apps I install. I did pick up a micro SD card to store music and other files. Some apps cannot be installed on micro SD in android devices, so it is better to store pictures, videos, music there and leave the internal memory for apps. The processing power is good enough to meet my needs. While not as powerful as a more expensive Pixel tablet, the S2 runs Hearthstone just fine. Occasionally, when a great deal of card animations are on the screen, there is some slowdown, but the experience is quite playable. Overall, I am pleased!

It's fast and easy to use. I love it the sharp display. Great for reading or surfing the net.

I just got this little thingy, I had an Ipad Gen4 which I gave to my brother as I wanted to badly break of the APPLE YUGO! I hate how controlling and hover like they are. I had a to jump trough hoops to get my ipad clean so that my brother would get a "clean brand new" device. I am a galaxy fan and I am a droider as well, love the versatility , hands on, and all options this platform offers. I wanted a change so I went with the small tablet 8" it is small but I have big hands! so it is a perfect fit even with the little fold cover I bought for it, I am used to Droid, it came with droid 6 but today of all day I got updated to Droid 7 Nougat which I like a lot as I've been using it on my S8+ so now I kind of have the same. Processor is fast, all functions and feel its like my phone now I can actually pair my phone and manage and make calls from the pad if my phone is in another room (yep you can do that if you have Galaxy phone) Image crisp, clear, super light weight and its the "highest"end tablet before the new Tab S3 SO FAR SO GOOD!
