Great tab! Speed and screen rock. Lightweight too. Expandable memory w/micro sd. I have a older tabs 10.5 it was very heavy. This Tab easy to hold and light in the backpack. Hard to find good cases so look around.

I was considering an iPad but I decided to try this Samsung and wow I wasn't wrong. It's light, super fast and the quality of the screen can't be compare to the lower resolution of an iPad.

What a fantastic tablet! Thin & light, yet very sturdy. The screen is amazing, awesome colors and resolution. Super fast, zero lag, runs all my apps and games with ease. The 8" is the perfect size, my eMagazines look great. Just buy it already!!

This is a great tablet. The screen resolution is excellent. You can add plenty storage with the addition off a media card, and it operates with very good speed.

Great Tablet-Even Better Price Tablet is Slim and Light

This tablet is replacing an old larger one, like the compactness of this size. This tablet is super fast.

I've had an iPad the last several years, but found that I didn't use it much due to it's size. It was too big and annoying to type on. This Galaxy tablet is a great size--big enough to offer a different experience than my Pixel 2 XL, yet small enough to be usable. The performance has been great and I've had no issues with it all. In fact, there are only two things keeping me from rating it a 5: (1) I wish Samsung didn't have to mess so much with the Android OS--I much prefer the pure Android experience--and (2) the bezel is so small around the screen that when I hold it without a case, my hand chub makes constant contact with the screen and thwarts my attempts to scroll, etc. The good news is that was easily fixed with a nice bumper case, so now I'm thrilled with my purchase.

Great traveling size, fantastic speed and resolution

Purchased to replace a Samsung 7.0 Plus tablet. Used for ebooks, email and general Internet. Primarily selected for light weight and easily handled size. Have done some Xfinity TV and the picture is really sharp. No experience with gaming. Battery lasts me 1-1/2 to 2 days usually which I think is fairly OK.

My Samsung tablet is easy to use. It is super fast

This tablet is a very good value. My main tablet had been a 2013 Nexus. The Nexus is a classic 7 inch tablet that became too slow offer time. The S2 is absolutely perfect for my needs. I transferred my Nova launcher home screen data to the S2 and the performance is like a Corvette vs a Chvey Sonic. (Or I guess a Chevy Nova.) ;-) The display is great and the performance is fast. I've had no trouble with this product at all. My only wishes are that I could buy this in a slightly smaller 7 inch form and that I could charge it wirelessly. For me the price difference compared to the E and A tablets from Samsung was worth it.

I purchased this tablet a few days ago and I would like to say the performance and the desgin and quality of this tablet is really great the amount of space this tablet has is great and also the price drop sale that best buy had was a great deal because of how much the price reduced and i would like to say also that this tablet has really cool and new features as well and the 8 inch screen that this tablet has is great and the way that the best buy employee in store helped me with my purchase was great as well and the service i received at best buy was great as well.

So after having this almost a year I'm just getting to writing a review. I love it, I teach art and design and needed something more mobile to take care of tasks like attendance or student notes, or even just taking a quick picture of a student working, or student work. I chose it for the improved level of security, as well as processor speed. I take it to all my staff meetings and parent teacher conferences where I can easily pull up student info on the fly. I went with the smaller model because it is light weight and will fit in the pocket of cargo pants. I ended up spending more on it than I went in planning on spending, but it had everything I wanted plus a great display.

I upgraded my tablet from the iPad mini to this and I am one happy girl! I am no longer limited by Apple's operating system! The display is beautiful! It's fast, light, and versatile. I love it!

This is a great tablet for use as an online device, or, as an E Reader. Clear pictures, works great as a camera, and keeps charge we'll. I take it with me now when traveling, instead of my laptop.

I had an old Galaxy Tab that was slow and froze up a lot. This one is fast, has a crisp clear screen, long lasting battery, and has not froze up one time. Great for travel. Very happy with this purchase

The Galaxy S2 9.7" is an excellent all around tablet. It's new 4:3 aspect ratio screen is the same as the Ipads. While it may not be quite as good as the more traditional 16x9 tablets for video clips and movies, it is certainly not a major downgrade. Where it excels is browsing and reading web sites and apps from various news media sources. The new screen displays full pages more naturally than the 16x9 screens do. It is worth the small compromise in watching videos. The screen is, typical of Samsungs, bright and beautiful and its processor is very fast. It will tale up to a 128 GB SD card so running out of storage space in not an issue. All in all this is worthwhile purchase.

Very clear screen with excellent colors. Very slim and lite weight. Camera takes good pictures. I think the retail price is a little high, but I am satisfied with the open box purchase price.

I brought this tablet for my 70 yr. old aunt. She loves it. Very easy operation. And it's not heavy and bulky. Takes nice photos too.
