Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the Galaxy Tab S2 8" 32GB's excellent screen size, ease of use, and light weight as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights its battery life and performance, although some users mention concerns about the device's tendency to get warm and the sound quality of its speakers. Great power, bad options
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Samsung Tab S a long time ago, and have the S5 phone. A just to give you some background. PROS: This tablet has a few things going for it. It is a super power in the tablet niche. The processor and ram are top notch. The screen resolution is great! The weight is phenomenal, so freaking light. 8" is a perfect size. CONS: The multi window is bunk... total bunk. It's not like the old samung where you can just pull it over on any app you are doing. It only works with Samsung approved apps... that's a HUGE no... One thing I always liked was being able to pull up Google on any app without closing it. Spend $400+ on a tab you expect some good stuff. There is no vibration or flashlight as well. Seriously Samsung, it's bigger than a phone, make it at least as good if not better... 3 star, simply because Samsung went cheapo on this and still wants a premium price. Not going to buy another Samsung unless they get their act together.

Not good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tab thinking that I wanted to switch from Ipads, boy what a mistake. It was nothing near the quality and efficiency of an IPad, i got rid of it. I pretty much lost 340 bucks.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never opened the package. I returned it to get the 9+ screen I cannot really rate it as I never tried it out. It was a gift for a birthday yet to come.

Great Android tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to upgrade from an iPad Mini 3 for a while, and since Apple seems to be in no hurry to update their Mini line (other than barely updated Mini 4), I decided to look at competitors. I already have an Android phone, so OS was not a factor to me, however as a tablet, I do think now that Android is better option due to its customization and flexibility. Now my tablet feels more like a tiny computer rather than an oversized iPod Touch. Not to hardware. It's Samsung so the build quality is outstanding. I got a Samsung branded book cover for it and it uses a very cool connection system where you don't see any parts of the cover anywhere around your tablet, leaving it minimalistic yet protecting the device well. Screen is the same resolution as iPad Mini, but somehow I can see pixels on Galaxy when I couldn't see them on an iPad. At the same time the screen is much brighter with better colors. Performance of the tablet is flawless, it does everything effortlessly and quickly, can't complain there. Wi-Fi feels stronger, I get much better reception in parts of my house where iPad Mini was struggling. Fingerprint scanner is super quick, probably about the same as iPad's though. Now here is where it loses one star. Battery life. It's not bad by any means, but I'm comparing it as if I was deciding between Galaxy and iPad Mini. iPad has a better battery life as far as I can tell. No tests were done here, just feels like I have to plug the Galaxy in much more frequently than the iPad. Overall I'm very happy with this tablet. Unfortunately there are not too many high end Android options when it gets to tablets, but this Galaxy might be about the best overall tablet on the market right now. iPad Mini is still a very good product, but if you're serious about your computing and want to have something more than just a social media and gaming machine, you owe it to yourself to give a Galaxy Tab S2 a try.

Great tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tablet. Right size for me. I am able to carry it in my purse. It has a really great screen and resolution. I love the gold color on the border, makes the screen seem even bigger. I downloaded the GPS app and maps for the states I am traveling in. The GPS works beautifully. I did not upgrade the app for voice directions yet as I have a Garmin in the car. I plan to travel to Scotland and Ireland and wanted to have the streets of the major cities at hand. The WiFi connects without a problem both at home and away from home. The battery could last longer. It lasts about 5 hours for me. Bottom line, I could not have been happier with my this purchase. I did not get the cover that Best Buy was selling as it had major problems. I did order one from Walmart that fit perfectly and at a great price. I bought a 128 GB SD card and now have a ton of memory.

Great thin tablet!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received my Galaxy S2 tablet as a gift to replace my iPad Mini 2 because it became slow I gotta to say this was the best gift I've received in a while this tab is fast really fast really thin and the screen resolution is really nice. The only downside to this Galaxy Tab is the screen is not as responsive as I hoped it to be but all an all great product.

I love the Tab S2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me say this 1st: I'm thankful to have Samsung reps at the store I shop at, those guys at the Columbia, MD store know their product. But let me get to the facts. I've always wanted a Tablet by Samsung to test it out, work on assignments through email, whether it'd be excel reports, PDF files, and article annotating. I use this tablet for both personal/work purposes. The panel is what really gives this Tab S2 more time from me than what my Surface Pro does. I make that reminder to everyone even when I'm on the Sales floor. Battery life is well, I can go 3 days without having to recharge. The model I got must've been a defect, or it's noticing when I throw too much at it, since the moment I get into Adobe Photoshop Express and really start manipulating images, the tablet restarts itself. Must be a Smart power thing, so I didn't pay it any mind. Love it!

high resolution, and FAST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed. The screen is super clear, and the speed is fast. I know the fact it has more features, and options than Ipad. I owned both, but I preferred the android because the opened source. My 1st android tablet and it was well worth it!

Met my Expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going back and forth as to whether I wanted a iPad Mini4 or this tab s2. I wanted something that could replace my kindle for reading but do more than a kindle is capable of. Whenever I used my kindle for anything other than reading, it reminded me of how bad Amazon's owe android version is and I wanted a device with good android or full apple. I could not get the deal I wanted on the ipad so I jumped on the savings I was going to get on this Samsung. I love it. It has been a great experience and is very responsive. I have only played a few games but it works well and does not seem to stall out or show signs of hiccups that sometimes happens with these devices if they cannot keep up with the graphics requirements. I would recommend this device to others.

Great Tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this tablet for over 2 years. I use it everyday. I am typing this review on it too. The 8.0in size is perfect. I use it almost exclusively for emails, web searches, etc. It also works great on the airplane connected to aircrafts movie system (United Airlines). I have noticed that after almost daily use, the battery life is getting shorter. It use to be able to last all day and evening on one charge. Now I am having to recharge after about 4 hours of constant use. I do understand that batteries can only be recharged just so many times. It would be nice if the battery was replaceable.

All around good tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a tablet not too big, this is the perfect size for me. I notice it does get very warm when I play games and watch youtube videos. It's great tablet for videos, pictures, internet browsing, you can't beat the beautiful screen. I love the rich colors and the SD expansion is awesome.

Excellent tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had mine since last fall. It's just a bit too wide to fit in a jeans pocket but still very carryable. Excellent hardware, beautiful screen, fingerprint reader works well. And a couple of months back, it upgraded to Android 7.0 (Nougat). I'll also recommend the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0" Book Cover case. It has snaps that fit into the S2 to hold it very securely while maintaining a very thin profile. The case is expensive, so watch for a sale.

Perfect for reading manga
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought mine last year, and it has served me very well. I used it almost exclusively to read downloaded manga (I store the manga in a SD chip). This thing is fantastic. The screen is not too large, or too small, it's just right. For the price and features, this is the best choice out there right now.
