After four years I decided it was time to replace my nook hd+. I spent a good amount of time being incredibly indecisive on what I wanted. The only thing I was positive about, was that I wanted an 8 inch tablet. Then I used a friends iPad. I hadn't touched one since the original model and found it to be quite pleasant. The 4:3 aspect ratio really makes everything quite pleasant. So I was happily surprised to learn Samsung made a switch the screen ratio. Also, with that switch, 9.7 inches is quite nice. The tablet is almost the exact same size as my book was, though lighter and thinner, with mores screen real estate. For my uses, this tablet is excellent. I read comics, Web articles, pocket articles, and watch videos on flights. While the letter boxing is more than I am used to in videos, the excellent screen quality makes up for it. I am also pleased it through same USB connection as everything else I own, and not USB cable. The only negatives I really have are that the camera is merely acceptable, but that's not why I bought this, the screen color temperature shifts a bit, but stays quite readable, when you tilt it past a 45 degree angle, and the volume buttons are a bit stiff, but they may just need to break in. Battery life so far has been enough to to get me through a few days of casual use. Browsing the Web is much more pleasant than on a 16:9/10 screen as most other tablets have. Response is much snappier than other tablets I have used, this one having the snapdragon processor. Keyboard is quite usable, I'm actually using it to type this. My item was an open box geek squad certified item. It was brand new looking to me and saved some money, so I would recommend looking at those type of items in general.

I have been somewhat skeptical of the tablets, but must say I am very happy with the Samsung S2. It has great speed and storage. Super light and thin for easier handling. Would recommend to anyone based on my experience..

This is a great tablet, the best I have ever used. One of the most impressive features is how light weight the device is, compared to some of Samsung's previous tablets that I have owned. The 32 GB of memory makes a big difference with regards to downloading apps, etc. It is lightening fast and efficient, with a beautiful display. It obviously has a great processor. I love the micro SD memory slot, which gives it an advantage over any I -Pad. This is Samsung's best tablet design yet. The device is truly a joy to use.

I had just joined Texture Magazine and was reading them on my Microsoft Surface, which is heavier then I would want to carry everywhere. I have a Kindle white reader, but I can not download the magazine to it. So I decided I'd look at tablets. I went into Best Buy and they had couple of different ones available. As I'm comparing them, I knew that I would only be happy with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2! The picture is so much sharper then others, the size a little bigger, but not as big as my Surface. It was lighter in weigh then the others, perfect. First thing in the morning I made my coffee, turn on the news and open my Samsung, I use it all day long. One of the features I really love is that as long as it can see me, it will stay open. If I'm reading a book or magazine and look up to listen to the news, it doesn't go to sleep on me, I can then continue reading. I love the case that goes with it. I can close it and it put the tablet to sleep and when I open it, it wakes up. I am so happy I went with this one and would recommend it to everyone.

I bought this to replace my Galaxy Note 2014 10.1. It is much lighter and comes with office products. The finger print reader works well. The screen is great. It has more memory and it keeps charge very well even when playing games. I thought I might miss the pin but I don't. It also does not have flash and some reviews said it does. Overall great tablet and I do not regret purchase even though it cost me 400 bucks. Only reason to pay more for s3 is if you want the pin.

Been using IOS tablets for years, was skeptical about using an android tablet. I am amazed at the speed, screen and ease of use, battery is comparable to the IOS tablets, LOVING IT SO FAR.

It is my Christmas present so I have not had much time with it. I choose to ask for the Samsung because I have a lot of Samsung products and like them including my phone. I like the way the tablet explains how to do things right on the site and gives easy instructions. Again, because of having the phone, I was able to keep some of the apps I use on the phone and I could choose which ones I want on the tablet. I love to play games on this size screen. It is nice and big. The camera takes good pictures, even with rear facing camera. I am very excited to learn and do more and more on this tablet. I also like the whole thin look of it.

works fast, is easy to use display is great, I have not test the camera yet but overall good to buy product. Battery life seems is not that great.

This tablet is a huge upgrade in speed from the Tab 4. Much snappier start time and app load time. Great for playing games or watching movies. Thinner and lighter than the Tab 3 or Tab 4. Seems to also have a significantly longer battery life.

So far, so good. Absolutely no issues, is just as fast as my Samsung Galaxy, and plays all my games perfectly. I got it while it was on sale and I definitely don't regret it. The display is smooth and beautiful as well. I think my only weird gripe is that it has no vibration support, but I guess that's not really needed for what I use it for, anyways, haha. I also can't turn the menu button lights off like I can on my phone, but that's also just a small gripe. If you're thinking of purchasing this tablet, I say go for it.

Very sharp screen. Powerful, fast, and lightweight tablet. I purchased this one for my wife after having one just like it for a year.

Fast, smooth, fluid operation. Extremely light and easy to travel with. Screen is crisp and clear and I often prefer shopping on-line via the tablet than my laptop due to the realistic image quality. Extra storage is a bonus but wish there were more applications I could utilize to take advantage of the capacity. I would highly recommend this product.

This is an excellent tablet. Very light weight, bright and crisp screen, and the battery life is long. Would highly recommend.

Originally purchased two Insignia 11.6 inch tablets, on sale for $119.00. The price was the only good thing about them. It's so true...you get what you pay for. Took them both back. Rusty in home theater recommended the Samsung tablets. He has never steered us wrong so we took his advice. GLAD we did. These tablets are great. Fast..don't lock up...easy to use. Should have bought them in the first place. Like my Mother always said..."Economize with the best you can afford." Smart lady.

After seeing my mom deal with a painfully slow atom notebook that struggled to even run youtube, this tablet has been a great delight. Super easy to use, vibrant screen, no hangups. It's a great tablet with a nice amount of customizability. With an expandable memory, makes it a great for listening to music and watching movies while not at home.

I purchased my first Samsung Tablet six years ago and have really enjoyed it. But, this Samsung Tablet is by far the best yet. The screen is super clear and bright with colors that pop. It is much faster, weighs much lighter and easy to handle. Pictures are perfect, but streaming is only as good as your internet!!! I highly recommend!!!

Relative wanted a tablet for internet use and this tablet is easy to use, great picture quality and fast!

I realize this tablet has been superseded by a newer model, but I didn't want to spend the extra money for a marginal performance improvement. The Galaxy Tab S2 serves me well for mostly web browsing, email and Youtube. The display is super-sharp with excellent contrast, as you would expect from an OLED display. Battery life is pretty good at 8-9 hours.

I bought this because my older samsung tablet was just a little to old to run some of the apps that i needed to run. I did a fair amount of research and it came down to this tablet and an Ipad mini 4. I decided to go this route because I have an iphone and am looking forward to the day when I get to switch away from Iphones. This tablet is quick and the screen is a good size. I can run the apps I need and it works well.
