I bought this as a Christmas gift and they love it! It's very think and extremely light weight. Everything I own is Samsung!! I love their products plus owning all of their products makes sharing between devices very easy. My only curiosity is that I wonder how it compares to the new S3. I originally wanted to get that one but that couldn't say before the holidays when it would be out --- so I decided to purchase the S2. the recipient is very happy with this.

I purchased my S2 about 5 years ago. GREAT tablet in most every way. The technology has changed, along with my eyesight. And since I couldn't afford the new S7, I went with the 2019 Tab A 8" version. I'm extremely happy with it. But if you get the chance to still find this new, or, a well taken care of used version, buy it! Samsung quality lasts!

I travel frequently for work. I needed a tablet that is reliable on flights, and easily used for downloading episodes from Netflix. Even better since I purchased it on a Black Friday sale.

I bought this tablet for my 8 year old niece, she loves it. It has enough speed for her apps and the potential to increase the memory is excellent. A lot of the apps are free which is also a great plus.

Does get hot a little quickly but it is very light compared to its successor and has a faster processor despite being the older model. Just wish more apps would be compatible like they are in my S8

Great tablet. Had charging problem that seems to happen too often. Returned. Best Buy does not have the Samsung support as before. All Apple, little Samsung. Read online reviews about charging issue. My son has last years model and works great. I would recomend but check charging as soon as get home.

This is a great tablet for me. Screen size makes for easy viewing with sharp graphics. Very lightweight for size.

Bought this to replace my previous Samsung tablet. Great battery life and wonderful picture quality.

I was an iPad2 user before I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7. And I was tempted to buy me an iPad pro 9.7. I walked from the Apple booth to the Samsung booth back an forth to compare both tablets. Finally I made the decision pro the Samsung tablet. Do I regret it? Not really. Sometimes I just miss the outstanding Apple display. My final decision to buy the Samsung was based on the limitations with the iOS and the expandable memory on the Samsung device.
