I was torn between the Surface 3/4 and the Tab S2. I went with the Tab S2 64GB based on its price and size. This tablet can replace a laptop for normal computing needs: web browser, email, entertainment, documents, spreadsheets and presentations. With great support for Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive and a 128 GB micro SD slot you can easily have access to all of the files that reside on your PC and or the cloud. I opted to purchase a year of Office 360 for $70. With that purchase I received 1 TB of OneDrive storage. My PC syncs to OneDrive so my tablet has access to all of my files. I purchased a third party Ethernet adapter to support wired connections and a cheap stylus for a drawing program that I am using as a Visio replacement. I am able to use the tablet while it is charging from my Anker 2nd Gen Astro E4 external battery so I never worry about running out of power. Some tablets will only charge from the manufacturers charger or from USB if it is powered down. I also purchased the Samsung USB to HDMI adapter for connecting the tablet to large TVs for presentations. Again everything worked as planned. Lastly I purchased the Samsung keyboard cover. I like the cover and how the keyboard can be simply removed and placed to the side for normal tablet usage. I thought I would like the touch pad on the Samsung keyboard but I found it to be a weak solution. There are many less expensive keyboard only solutions on the market. I did find the cover at a great price online and BB matched the price from that site but at the normal $149 price it is way too expensive. Overall this is a great product and solution for my portable needs. I am happy with my purchase.

This is a great tablet. It's fast, has plenty of memory, and a great screen.

My regular tablet was the Sony Xperia that I got in 2012. I bought my wife the Samsung S1 tablet six months ago and she loves it. Then I went into Best Buy and saw this 64 GB beauty! It is half the weight of the Xperia and twice as fast!!! The 9.7" screen actually fits in my hand better than the 10.5" and is easier to carry around. The graphics and colors on the screen just pop! I listened to You Tube while having other windows open and the tablet performed without a glitch. I got the Samsung matching magnet case and it fits snug like a glove although I wish the case wasn't so expensive. I immediately gave the Sony Xperia tablet to my 12 year old son and he is loving it which makes us both happy!

Although I haven't played any 4k Ultra HD Blue Ray movies yet, it does play Blue Ray and 3D Blue Ray DVD's very well. You can see a difference between this player and a standard Blue Ray player playing the same DVD.

I really like the my tablet. For now it has replaced my 2 in 1 laptop. It is light and convenient to carry around. I use my regular apps to do thing quickly, but what I lke is that I can also go to full sites when there are no apps or I need a more robust experience. The screen is very bright, colorful and very sharp. The Camera feature is awesome and I use that quite a bit instead of my Samsung phone. I use side sync to make calls on my tablet. Overall, very versatile, convenient to use, light and powerful enough to use as a computer when I connect my Bluetooth keyboard to it.

This tablet is near perfect. The screen is incredible and the processor is very fast. I am also shocked by how long the battery lasts. It easily outlasts my Galaxy Tab 4 which way outlasts my Lenovo S8. I like the 4:3 screen better than the 16:9. My son has the Galaxy Tab s 10.5 and I prefer this one. It is a notch faster and more responsive, but the biggest difference is the screen aspect ratio. My one gripe is the same as for most tablets - why are the speakers not front firing? The sound is OK, but would be much better in a front firing configuration.

I had the Samsung 12.2 Pro, mostly for work, and was very pleased with it until I damaged it beyond repair. Since I had to buy a new tablet I looked for a smaller one but still large enough to be useful in looking at work documents along with personal use. The Tab S2 is everything my 12.2 was and better. The thin case and light weight makes a huge difference as I have arthritis in my thumb joints. The graphics are very clear and defined and the 9.7 screen still lets me view Excel & Word docs easily. Got the 64 GB, which right now is only available at Best Buy, and expanded to 128 GB, memory was an important item in my wish list. My husband was so pleased with it he decided this was the one he wanted for his new tablet.

I did tons of review reading before buying my tablet, it does all that I expected and more,fast processer and easy setup,user friendly,and a unbelievable display. More than I expected. I got the glass Screensaver and Samsung cover which turns tab on and off,very useful in saving battery,you will not be disapointed.

Coming from various iPad models I didn´t know what to expect, this is my first Android tablet and the experience has been great. This tablet is very portable, really light. Very fast, multitasking works great, the finger scanner works practically all the time, and the option to use up to 128Gb SD card storage makes it really convenient. Battery life we know depends on usage and for me, moderate user, it has been very decent. Downside: Camera needs good light conditions for good pictures.

This tablet has meet or exceeded all of my expectations. This is the first tablet I have actually purchased for myself. But, I have used the Amazon Kindle, Apple iPad, B&N Nook, Samsung Slate, and the previous version of the Galaxy Tab. I took my time comparing different manufacturer's products and talked to owners about what they liked and what they disliked. I was able to purchase the Galaxy Tab S2 64gb at BestBuy when they had $150 off, plus I had a 10% BestBuy coupon code. I also traded in an old Samsung Slate for a $205 BestBuy gift card. So, the discounts and trade-in made the cost of the S2 very affordable. This device is very thin and light. I don't mind the Android OS versus Windows on the Slate I used. The S2 comes preloaded with MS-Office and lets me play all of my audio and video files. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 phone and the two work well together. I have used SideSync to link my phone a few times and can see some possible uses. (SideSync will allow you to make calls, send text messages, copy files, basically run any of your phone's Apps on the tablet.) I haven't detected any screen lag or problems with screen changes. The touch screen sensitivity is great. One disappointment was Samsung dropped the screen resolution from the previous version (2560 x 1600 to 2048 x 1536 pixels). But, I do think the slightly smaller size (9.7" from 10.5") is easier to hold and work with. It was easy to get rid of the useless Apps and customize for your personal preferences. Flipboard is one App you may consider eliminating because it wastes CPU. On my phone I have problems with the fingerprint scanner, so I opted to not use that on my Tab S2. Overall, this was an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

At the recent price point this tablet has an AMOLED screen, 5800+ mAh battery 64 GB memory and dual quad core procesing. It performs as well as the specs suggest plus it is thin and light for a 9.7" screen.

Needing to replace my laptop after disaster struck, I decided to make the leap to tabletville after reading a bunch of reviews online on whether iOS or Android was better. Operating systems aside, the Galaxy S2 had the processor speed and screen size to fit my use and it has far exceeded my expectations. Battery life isn't all that good, especially compared to full-size laptops, but something is always sacrificed when devices are crazy thin (looking at you iPhone 6, grrrr). Front- and rear-facing cameras nice and clear, screen is bright and responsive. Overall very pleased and would definitely buy again.

Beautiful screen resolution and colors. Buy it with the Samsung combination keyboard and case and it replaces your laptop unless you are at your computer all day. Great battery life. More than enough apps to choose from. Microsoft office included. And storage options so much better than ipads. I bought the model with 64 gigs internal and added a 64 gig SD card. Buy it and you'll be a happy camper.

I have used an ipad for as long as I can remember, with that being said. This tablet is so much more versatile than the ipad. Your not locked down to only iOS apps. The memory is expandable. Its fast, super fast. The screen is absolutely amazing. I do find that the battery is not quite as good but that all is adjustable depending on screen brightness and all the apps that run in the background. This is a great tablet. Considering I paid almost $800 for my ipad 4 when it came out. I can buy two of these for that price and screen is better, lighter, and expandable. I'm sold on this tablet.

Another awesome Samsung product. If you want an Android based tablet this is the one for you. It works so smooth and fluid.The colors are amazing on the screen. The display is so vivid it's like it's jumping at you. The battery is long lasting. The best part is the Best Buy exclusive 64gb capacity. You get your money's worth with this product.

The quality of the screen image surpasses that of my iPad air. It also seems to be faster when executing the same app. Love the fact that i can expand the storage memory with a microSD card. Not fond of all the plastic though. Uncomfortable to hold when not in a case.

I'm so glad I got the 32 gb one. I always ended up running out of space with the other size tablets even with the external sd card. This is so much faster and I have tons of room to store apps and everything I'm between! Great tablet, great size, screen is amazing. I am very happy with the purchase!

This tablet is a joy to use. The screen is beautiful. It's just a top notch quality tablet. It's also unbelievably light. Battery life is really good. Android Lollipop is really smooth and beautiful on this tablet. The "TouchWiz" interface that Samsung uses is smooth as butter, and, a joy to use and look at. If you are thinking of getting a new Android tablet, this is the one to buy. This is a top quality, premium tablet, well worth the price.

I got this tablet because I was tired of using my phone for my kid to play with educational apps. The tablet is perfect for running apps and games. Great performance and speed so there are no jitters or long load times. It's also a great screen for videos and HD movies. The screen has great resolution, is crystal clear and is a great size. I definitely recommend the 64GB version for storage even with the expandable memory slot.
