I bought this tablet after Christmas and it has been a great help to me while learning Japanese. The included S pen make it feel more natural to write the Japanese characters and Kanji helping make the language easier to understand as odd as that may sound. The S3 also helped me to take my other work loads with me where ever I may go besides taking the laptop I own that making on the go writing a lot more enjoyable. The battery life in my experience of heavy usage has been good lasting all day for me even when I use it more than just a hour or two. all and all it's a great tablet for people that want to blog on the go.

This unit is a vast improvement to my last tablet (also a 10 inch Samsung). It's very fast, has a very clear screen presentation, and battery life is excellent.

Although a bit in the expensive side, it's really nice to have the features and speed. Love the s pen. Has.a smooth glide across screen and brings several tip changes.

This tablet is amazing. As an artist the S-pen comes in very handy. If familiar with navigating through an android device, this tablet is simple to use. I highly recommend this if looking for a tablet with a large beautiful screen and a collection of possibilities!

This has become my go-to for work, reading, leisure, and research. The pen is great, and it isn't too heavy (for me) to use as an e-reader. It is lightning fast, too!

When Consumer Reports Magazine rated the Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet as it's number 1 pick, I knew I didn't have to shop any further. My Mom loves hers too, and that was all I needed to make my decision after the research I had done on other tablets. The picture is great, colors are bright, the sound is fantastic, and the processor is fast! It will be interesting if they ever come out with an S4, to see what improvements they will make. I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S3, if you are looking for a tablet that does everything, is very fast, and whose memory is expandable.

Bought this to replace a older Samsung tablet. Not disappointed! Crystal clear display, fast and light. Transition from old to new was seanless. Very happy.

I like a lot of things about this tablet. The security functions being high on my list. The pen in excellent. I've never been much of a fan of Samsung's version of Android and prefer stock versions of Android, but I really love this tablet. Highly recommend.

the only disappointment was the lack of a penholster in the housing. i lose track of the pen constantly. However - the tablet itself is responsive, fast to load webpages and artwork with layers, a dream to draw and write on once i got a matte screen to minimize the sliding and glare. the sound is *excellent* - the picture very, very good. Love to write on it, love the pen, love the apps that suddenly go from nice to fantastic - being able to see more than my poor phone screen can show me on a nine plus inch screen has made my bday present a joy. Thanks!

I upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy tab 2014 10.1 edition. I upgraded mainly because the battery started losing it charge faster and I had to charge it constantly. The battery life in the S3 is much improved and with the 2048x1536 screen resolution the picture is superb. Deep blacks and amazing clarity. It is great for multitasking and with the additional keyboard typing is convenient. The tablet is very portable and includes an S pen. This tab is expensive but it is worth it. Best Buy had it on sale for $449 which is a very good price. Usually sells for $479.

This thing is amazing and fast. For productivity, movie watching and drawing. I use it everyday for project managing, to do lists using Trello and draw on it using the spen and Artflow. I do wish some of the art apps I have on my iPad pro 12.9 were made for this S3 but with the filling system of Android and the expandable memory this makes this a great buy. The Spen has a slight offset when drawing is you hold it in an angle but you can manage it and I think Artflow is getting better with updates. Besides that small issue that I think is improving this tablet is great.

This is my first real android tablet and I gotta say I'm impressed. So in terms of the OS it's not that much different than what You'd experience from the Galaxy S7 or the Note series phones. What really makes it shine though is the S Pen included in the box. It's comfortable to hold, very natural response to input, and overall wonderful integration. The only caveat is there's no way to store it in the tablet as on the Note series devices so make sure you don't lose it! There's also a ton of useful productivity apps included such as Microsoft office suite. You'll also find Samsung's Flow app which allows integration with other Samsung devices and seamless sharing of files, even answering texts and taking calls. I will admit that I did find this app to be quite frustrating where sending files is concerned as it kept having problems connecting between the tablet and my S7 Edge. Physical build is top notch. Again, the design cues come straight from the flagship phones which I personally think is a good thing. The unibody design is a glass front and back with a metal frame and non-removable battery. Though the glass back is prone to fingerprints and smudges so I recommend looking around for a good case and some screen protectors. No waterproofing here either but I won't deduct points since we haven't really seen any IP68 tablets around. We also get USB-C which is a welcome upgrade. No wireless charging but again, since it's not really a standard where tablets are concerned, I'll let it slide. The display is everything you'd expect from Samsung. I will admit I was hoping for a bit of an upgrade and I guess it kind of is since it's HDR compatible but QHD would have been nice. It's still super nice and will come in handy for multimedia consumption. On a side note, for those with Canon DSLR cameras there's an amazing app which will allow you to use the tablet as an external display. Super useful if you're someone who likes to plan out their shot. You get full control of the camera, including shutter release, right from the tablet. The speakers are tuned by AKG and are nice and loud though I found them to be a little "tinny" at higher volumes. The fun part is the sound will rotate according to the screen orientation in order to provide the optimal listening experience. Overall, while this tablet will NOT replace a PC (let's be honest, not many will), it definitely meets my expectations. If you're in the market for an android tablet, this is the one to buy. Even more so if you've already got other Samsung devices.

The only reason I do not give a five star on this tablet it's because,. .. Samsung could've and should've given this "S Pen" the accuracy that was displayed/ delivered on the "Note 7 phone" There is a tiny little bit of latency when writing & or drawing but nothing major to be enough to be a discouragement for anyone. .. Overall this tablet is really nice with a ton of useful features, it looks great even when it's turned off. This Samsug tablet it's fast, and when watching films on HDR, this display performs really well and it's also really good when watching regular HD content. .. The "S Pen" features alot of useful and practical functions..! The display here is nothing short than outstanding "the star of the show really" this display it is easy on the eyes, and has really natural rich colors I highly recommended this tablet, & also the cover.. Really nice & useful.

I've had multiple Apple and Android phones and multiple iPad tablets, as well as helped others (friends and family) with all of them too... Both iPads and Androids are excellent and just different - learn what is different to help make your decision. I moved back to an Android phone with my last update and have been happier, so when it came to updating my iPad I had to consider my options fully. Frankly, a large portion of my decision was based on hating iTunes bloat and its total control of everything - if you like iTunes than that is not a major consideration. Also, I was after higher power for some applications and to take advantage of The Galaxy's excellent S-Pen for some sketching / drawing as well (Apple's very good iPencil is another $100 add on, while Samsung includes the S-Pen in the package). Understand this is an expensive option (on par with iPad Pro) which is not worth the cost if you are not going to take advantage of the power. The Galaxy Tab S2 has the same awesome AMOLED screen and S-pen for a lot less money so consider your applications and power needs. I highly suggest watching some YouTube videos comparing Android tablets as well as comparing them to various iPad models to help you choose based on what you value. IF you want top of the line Android for power and longevity the S3 is it. Build quality and included software is tops. I also purchased the Samsung Keyboard and was very pleasantly surprised at how much better it is than I thought it could be... and it is thinner than my non-keyboard case to boot! It's only drawback is that it only uses magnets to attach so depending on usage angles it can slip out of position a little (not an issue for normal desktop / laptop typing). The typing feel is excellent. (it would be nice if it was available in other colors). Some find the glass back of the S3 to be concerning over the S2's ergonomic rubbery feeling plastic, so test both out for that as well. I will say battery life is not as good as I'd like which is largely due to the gorgeous and bright AMOLED... Android includes excellent system maintenance tools now that can help. There are so many special features and customization options I strongly suggest watching some hints and tips videos as well! If you want a top of the line full-size Android Tablet, especially if you desire to use a good quality pen, this is a great option.

I bought this tablet with the keyboard on sale. I have thoroughly enjoyed surfing the Internet, playing games, watching live shows, participating in social media etc. without any issues. It is faster than the Galaxy S2 tab and easy to carry.

I had a Samsung tablet previous to this one and I adored it.I've tried other tablets friends and relatives had but they weren't for me.So I just stuck with Samsung because I found them easier to use and are less complicated in my opinion.

I bought this as a gift for Christmas. As such, I've not been able to spend a lot of time with it. But, I did go through the set up routine and found it simple to do. Bought the optional keyboard and looking forward to seeing how it does.
