I have had a Samsung tablet before, and bought this to replace the one that had been stolen. This is fast, efficient, and a delight to work with. My only issue is that some apps open horizontally rather than vertically for a few seconds (or sometimes indefinitely).

Have had virtually every high end samsung tablet made. Other than being $100 overpriced, this tablet is excellent. It's powerful, light, battery life is great, the screen is crisp and clear, recharge times are quick. Overall a vast improvement on the features that matter to users.

I bought this and have used it everyday 24 hours a day pretty much for everything. Love it

The screen is wonderful- great color, great motion abilities, everything. Processing power is fantastic, and good quality sound as well. Recent version of Android so should be a long time of support. Also, high quality fit finish and build, even the packaging was fantastic! Seems well built enough to let the kids use, but no way, they can use the old one a few years before laying their fingers on this. My wife uses it daily for her Netflix shows and whatnot while she works on things. With some of the latest wifi tech, internet is always a fast and strong connection. We added a 200GB micro sd card so we could put some movies or other stuff on it without worrying about free space so we can keep the onboard system memory clean. I think memory card slots are a necessity, especially in this price range. Overall, the tablet exceeds expectations! Only con is the price, wow. But look at what competitors charge for inferior products at the moment....

Very good tablet. The pen is great and makes using it great with some apps. Only complaint is the tip of the pen wears out fast

I purchased this as an upgrade to my Samsung Tab E, and what an upgrade! I was looking for something with handwriting recognition and MS Office/PDF functionality and this fit the bill perfectly. Battery life is good enough to get me through a full day of meetings and watching videos on this tablet is almost as good as watching them on my television. Only gripe I have is there is no way to physically connect to an external display, but a screenbeam mini worked well for connecting to monitors and projectors with an HDMI input.

Samsung - Galaxy Tab S3 - 9.7" is a wonderful device that is capable of carrying out everyday tech. functions. It has become my main device for everyday task as a student. It is easy to use and very functional. I love the S pen and it complements the tablet very well.

Yes, I do believe this to be the best Galaxy Tablet Samsung has made so far. I still have all of the tabs I've previously purchased: Note 10.1, Note 8.0, Tab S2, Tab Pro 8.4 and Note Pro 12.2. The Tab S3 seems to me to really be a larger version of the Galaxy Note 7, just without the phone part. It's simple to use, easy to configure, and having the S-Pen is heaven-sent. My absolute favorite feature is that with screen off, I just press the S-Pen button close to the screen and it comes on and allows me to write a quick (or long) note, tap Save, and be done. I don't have to actually turn on the screen, unlock, open one of the note taking apps and then write the note. This has become an invaluable tool for my day-to-day use. It was like that with the Note 7 phone and, oh how I hated having to give that up. The tab is fast, screen is freaking brilliant, and the quad speakers are almost perfect. They could just use a tad more base and volume. The biggest con on this tablet is the fact that there is no built-in holder for the S-Pen. I think that's a pretty serious oversight, enough to take away a full star on the rating. It's just too easy to lose the S-Pen without a native holder/holster. My solution was to get a pen loop which I adhered to the inside of the case. It's been a good solution, but one I shouldn't have had to implement. Highly recommend the Galaxy Tab S3. Make sure to get at least a 128GB microSD card. You'll want it for transferring movies and other videos to as they look awesome on the screen.

I bought this tablet to fly my drone and it works really well for that purpose and much more. The display on this tablet is outstanding. The colors really pop and videos and pictures are crystal clear. The four speakers give it great sound, even when you're blocking a couple of them with your hands. I like the physical home button, but the back and recent-apps buttons, which are adjacent to the home button, are static-capacitance (touch-screen) type, which forces me to look over to the side when I'm trying to hit either key (in particular, the back key). This is more an annoyance more than anything though, and overall I like the look and feel of the layout. The touchscreen is quick and responsive. The few issues that I do have with the tablet: Say what?? There is no way to hold my S pen?? Come on...that should have been an automatic. When I bought my Galaxy S9+ phone, I figured I'd give the built-in Bixby feature a shot -- it's not great, but not horrible. When I bought this tablet and realized that Bixby isn't even an option on it, I realized that even Samsung isn't taking Bixby seriously. Finally, this isn't a cheap device -- for the amount they charge for these they should come with a protective cover. I opted to buy the Samsung keyboard cover -- an overpriced accessory -- which does actually have a way to attach the S pen. Overall, though, I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this tablet primarily because it has a stylist which is great for typing and sketching. It works great and the processor seems much faster than my old Galaxy S. If you get a cover for it, be sure to get one that holds the stylus.

I was using this on a daily basis up until last week (June 18, 2020) playing Hayday, checking email, watching netflix, and hule. The spen working great. It was a tad slow in a few things but nothing to ding it a star for. It's a SD 835 processor so the performance is what I'd expect. If I were to buy an android tablet today though, I'd opt for the S6 Lite. The S3 was great until the cat walked across it while it was on the bed. I guess the weight of the cat as he was walking across it was just enough to flex or twist the table on the bed as it developed some hairline cracks and was completely unusable after that. Good excuse to upgrade the tablet. The cat isn't going anywhere. Love this cat more than any tech.

Samsung tablets are fantastic for power users. 5 days a week my tablet is used 10 hours a day - the other two days are close. My tab 2 lasted 3.5 years with those kinds of hours used. The tab 3 is being used as much and the battery never gets hot. The ePen is fantastic. Friends who've seen it say it's way better than the iPen - I'll have to take their word for it.

Nice graphics. Fast speed. Easy to use. Keyboard works well. Nice stylus for drawing.

Picture clarity is amazing. Processor is superior and almost as fast as my $3000 pc. Streamed a 3 1/2 hr baseball game and it used only 40% of battery. Hardly use s pin which came with it. I can truly recommend this tablet. Reason for 4 stars is because during the first 4 weeks it got stuck in the Samsung logo screen. Customer support helped immediately over the phone. Been working fine since.
