Customers often highlight the Galaxy Tab S3's impressive screen quality, ease of use, and long battery life as significant strengths. The included S Pen and lightweight design also receive considerable praise. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback, and a few express concern about the limited storage capacity. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this tablet. I am a professional Live Broadcaster for Twitch.tv and I needed something to help me stay in communication with my community as well as the power to remote broadcast. Behold the Samsung S3.
I honestly in most cases prefer to use my desktop computer because it has way more horsepower than any mobile device, however with several trips coming up I needed something that would give me mobility, access and a minimal footprint. At first I looked at the 2 in 1 laptops but for the price point it made little sense to me since i would never use them when I am at home. When I came upon Samsung's S3 tablet it just fit everything I needed to do. I is very fast and responsive to touch. By adding RealVNC App I can remote access all my PCs from anywhere in the world for free.
Best electronics purchase I made this year by far!

Highly functional tablet, smooth feel in your hand(s) and the pen being included is a big plus. I am now using two of them for wall mounted home automation interfaces, they are extremely graphical, smooth operating and have very beautiful screens.

I have been waiting awhile to find a quality Android tablet to replace my Nexus 7. I noticed the Samsung Tab S3 was on sale for $499 at Best Buy. I reviewed the specs and researched it online and thought that this was a suitable replacement.
The tablet has the look and feel of a quality device. The display is excellent and the speed of the tablet is outstanding. The battery life is also surprisingly good as the battery lasts a day and one half with heavy Internet/video usage.
Overall, this is easily the best Android tablet to buy and well worth the money.

This is a good tablet, but the iPad pro is a great tablet. Samsung used a very good screen as usual & the speakers are pretty good. It's honestly a little bit slower than I thought it would be, but still faster than anything else thats android & a tablet. The S Pen works flawlessly & if you are buying it for sketching or note taking you will love it.

For many, myself included the price of Samsung's Tab S3 makes the decision to purchase one a serious decision to contemplate. Yet the floor models on display which youre allowed to test out makes the decision to buy this Android much more compelling. There are a sea of Android tablets, with much lower prices, available for purchsse, however none offer the physical beauty and outstanding performance of the Tab S3. Samsung's transition to a glass back was a risky decision, considering that the Tab S2's back wasnt breakable and made handling the tablet easier. The new glass backing borrows style from the newer generation S6-S8 phones, and screams high quality. The tab S3 overall is svelte, quite thin yet solidly built, to the extent where you truly can appreciate that glass back as the next logical step for Samsung towards raising the build quality of their flagship tablet. Further i havent seen many people using tablets without a case, as should be the same the S3. Just imvest in a case that has a clear or translucent back cover to show off this tech gem. Performance is amazing as one should expect from a Samsing product of this caliber. The included S Pen is great and carries all of the features introduced with the Note 7. The only letdown with this tab is the limited option for 32GB of memory, which is tiny for those who plan to use the tab heavily and for multiple purposes. Attemping to determine the logic behind this decision was made more difficult when the S8 model phones all start with 64 gigs of memory. What saves the tab S3 is the option to expand memory with a micro SD card with a capacity over 200GB. Its important to remember to transfer as many of your installed apps to the micro SD. This helps to preserve the speed of the tablet overall, and from my experience, apps installed on my sd card run just as fast as apps stored in internally. Considering the price, this isnt a tablet made for all, but for those who do invest in one youll find that its capabilities are vast. The tab can handle multi-tasking with ease, and whether used as a notebook or to watch HDR media every venture provides a smooth, satisfying experience.

I really like ALL of my Samsung devices, this tablet is very fast and the new S-pen is great being pressure sensitive. It makes a wider line the harder uou press and a very thin line if you press lightly. Nice tablet.

The Tab S3 is a significant upgrade to my aging Tab S. What I like most about it is the brightness and vibrant colors the 4k HDR screen produces. Downloaded Amazon and Netflix movies look great.
The four speakers seem to add a better stereo effect as well and the overall performance is snappy.
Perhaps the only negative is the price which is rather high for an Android tablet. It runs circles around the iPad and Samsung is starting to price their gadgets accordingly so now the Apple tax applies here. However with Samsung you do get a modern AMOLED screen which makes the Apple IPS screen look dull by direct comparison.
If you are in the market for a tablet and have the money to spend, the S3 is a great option and the best one in the Android and iOS market in my opinion.

This is my 2nd Anroid based tablet and first Samsung one. It's fairly fast, lightweight and has a decent screen. Feels good to hold, no plastic like my last Google tablet. I also have iPads and it doesn't compare in speed, display quality or battery life to them but it's half the price, so it fits the bill for what my need was.

Some would say it's sacreligous to say an Android Tablet is better than the esteemed I PAD, but honestly, Samsung Hit it out of the park with the release of the Tab S3 Android Tablet. It has everything you need - phenomenal display, S PEN, Excellent Camera, great processor and plenty of ram. It all adds up to a sweet little package - 9.7 inch screen and all.
If you are considering a tablet, stop thinking about it and get this great new tablet from Samsung, The Tab S3 is a real winner!

I had one of its predecessors - the nexus model tablet and this is so much better. Videos with its four speakers are clear and loud. It is a bit touch sensitive which I am adjusting to as the lightest accidental tap on screen will for instance send a new email u r looking at to old email. It is very trim so can easily fit in my bag. One of the other three best aspects of it is its quick charger it comes with, the ability to add more memory, but what I think is really the best part is if u buy the additional keyboard it easily attaches to tablet and is not separate or needs any additional wires or charging. One aspect that could use improvement is the camera. If u r looking to take a quick pic and if it is darker than ideal setting or if a pic with larger group - it will not automatically focus quickly and may take minutes before permitting u to snap photo. I had gone to store purchased at to ask geek squad if something was wrong but they explained if this happens to put finger solely on one place so pic will focus faster. Works most of time but not always. However, tablet is not bought for mainly use as a camera and for all of its other vast improvements; speed, color, sound, size, weight, quick charge, capacity to add to and be updated as new technology comes forward, keyboard with auto hook up(No additional wires, ports, or charging needed) , plus maybe other aspects I am not even aware of as I am not not too techy with electronic devices, this is some good product and believe it gives it competitor a great rival for its price. Note: I went back when sale was on Samsung and bought a second one for my sister as she also needed a new updated one and we both use this as our main device for internet, emails, travel. Etc. So it was worth spending the hard to let go funds for something that will last us a good while.

First, because it is a Samsung tablet, I'll never purchase one with less than 32Gigs of internal memory. Make the bloatware go away. A big and beautiful screen. Faster and trouble-free. My mechanical peeve is the stylist. Location and mounting looks like an afterthought. My son bought one and likes it. My previous Samsung tablet after four years of rather rough treatment died. I'd say this tablet has met and in some cases exceeded my expectations.

I've used an iPad for many years. I really enjoyed it until I met the Galaxy Tab. I wasnt sure at first but holy crap its amazing. The screen alone is a major selling point. The speed compared to my iPad air is huge. The Galaxy is way faster. The battery life is fantastic for everything is does. I did buy the type case for it. My only wish would be the type case had a backlight on the keyboard but then you have to consider battery life. I love it

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is one of the best tablets available. The screen is incredibly clear and using an S pen is great for doing any editing on the screen or to just even help surf the web. Response is very quick and loading apps and webpages in a flash. My only wish was that the screen was 4K but Samsung may have been trying to keep the price down and the 4K feature would have shot it up more. But overall, I'm very happy with the tablet and would buy it again.

The s pen works amazingly and the apps available really take advantage of the pressure sense and extra ram. The specs on the tablet are incredible and should keep the tablet relevant for years. Just hope the android updates are quick.
The price tag is th eworst part, just keep an eye on sales and rebates

I purchased this to replace an old iPad of 2nd gen vintage. I don't often find that what I use electronics for requires me to consistently be the first to buy new versions. It seems pointless and since most everything is updated and upgraded in super fast time, why bother?
In this case the display was just pure awesome. Colors are crisp and black is black, even at high back lighting. That makes a difference in what the other colors look like. Least I think so. What made this an easy purchase was the speed of the device and the four speakers that delivered better than tablet sound. Watching an occasional video or movie is my use for this product and sometimes I have the luxury of doing it without headphones or ear buds which can be hot, cumbersome and create some degree of soreness. The sound of this tablet is excellent. It's not going to fill up a room the size of an auditorium but a hotel room, bedroom or even a living room can be a great format for watching a film or listening to music.
I enjoy this over apple as I became a believer of add on memory. Replaceable memory. Interchangeable memory. Limitless memory! With colors that pop, audio that's clear and crisp with a stereo effect and unlimited memory, hello Samsung... Guess long ago I was just Applized and closed minded.

I purchased this for my mother, who was using a 7 year old Samsung tablet. Being retired and constantly attached to her tablet (basic, simple games) I felt it was a great idea for a gift.
I have no idea how well it performs, as she's barely put it down. However, the great battery life, big size, gorgeous display, and lightweight feel make me believe there is a very good reason she hasn't put it down.

This was pre-ordered. I had done my research and thought this was the Android tablet for me. I was right.
The battery charges really fast ( from 45% to 100% in less than an hour) so the fast charging is a great improvement over the Tab S2. There isn't any lag when I switch tasks, multitask or switch orientation. It boots very fast if I ever power it down. I can stream for several hours and then surf the web and read for about 6 on a single charge. I usually plug it in when I hit 30% battery. So it can definitely last a full day or two on a single charge.
The display is great! The display detail & color range are beautiful when streaming Netflix, Hulu & Amazon. I haven't Skyped with it, but viewing photos and videos is a joy.
The four speakers really do seem to give a stereo effect. You get great sound out of all four all the time. Although I haven't noticed that they change orientation as some early reviews claimed.
And the blue light filter is wonderful for long stretches of reading- either websurfing or e-books and magazines.
I did not get the optional keyboard, but with the S-pen, I haven't really needed it. The android keyboard is fine for the typing I do and it has Microsoft Office apps preloaded. The S-pen is fantastic for jotting notes or marking up and signing documents and writing on photos. It's also great for doodling and sketching, using the Samsung apps.
I now carry this tablet with me instead of a laptop for off-site meetings at work and can then use it for fun when I get home. While it's definitely an android tablet and not a pc replacement- it is a great hybrid and suits my needs.
Very happy with it.
