Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the Galaxy Tab S3's impressive screen quality, ease of use, and long battery life as significant strengths. The included S Pen and lightweight design also receive considerable praise. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback, and a few express concern about the limited storage capacity. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments.

    Beautiful but flawed

Bought this on tax free day while on sale and with the Best But Birthday coupon so the price point was excellent. On receipt, I had to press the power button several times before it powered up but soon forgot that minor detail once I saw it in action. The clarity and vibrance of the Samsung display along with its speedy Snapdragon 820 made setup almost a pleasure. After some two hours installing and transferring files and pictures, I left it to spend some family time. On returning to my desk, I pressed the power button repeatedly to bring it out of sleepmode to no avail. The home button sufficed but the power button now had my attention. The next 90 minutes were spent trying to restart or power down the device and ultimately had to do a factory reset on it. After said reset, it locked up in restore mode for an hour before finally returning to the initial setup screen. After another 20 minutes of a dead power button, I gave up and was going to let the battery run down. As I was headed to bed, I went back and managed to finally get the power button to take and shut down. Needless to say, this is going back. I am a loyal Android fanatic and a Samsung loyalist for several years and do point out that this is likely an isolated tablet. But so did I say about my first through fourth Note 7's and my first two S7 Edge "Note Replacement" Samsung phones. Yes, they make some of the best electronics available but their QC is out of bounds right now. I REALLY wanted this tablet and would likely have simply replaced it had it not been for this being the 7th Samsung top end electronic that I would be replacing in less than a year. Hopefully they return said QC excellence but for now, they can practice with the time and money of others. Best Buy and their Customer Service remains top notch and I will continue to shop from them.

    Best Samsung tablet yet!

I loved my Samsung Note tablets and was disappointed that there was not a new Note tablet coming out, I would have to settle for a plain tablet. I researched the S3 and decided to give it a try since it came with a sylus and the software to support its use. I am enjoying my S3 more than my previous Notes. Its is easy to use and I find I rarely use my desk top because I can do everything from the Note. and the screen is beautiful! The reviews can"t do it justice. I did buy an HDR movie from Amazon just to see how it would look. WOW! I would rather watch a show on my Note than on the TV. I did not buy the keyboard case because I use the stylus for everything. My only beef is that there is not a way to attach the stylus. The S3 is so thin and light there is no room for a slot like the older Notes had to hold the sylus. So I just tied a Red ribbon onto my stylus to help me keep track of it. Buy this very useful, thoughtfully designed, inside and out, with a beyond belief display, Samsung S3.

    Best Tablet I've Own

This is one of the best tablets that I have own. I love the S Pen input for typing instead of using Samsung's keyboard for writing. I enjoy having a fine tipped stylus, which is great for drawing. The screen is very vivid, showing you the natural colors in videos that are played on it. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 i s ru running the latest version of Android (Android 7.0) and has all of the features that were on the Samsung Note 7 when it was out, including the latest Samsung UI and the Secure Folder application. The speakers have been tuned be the sound company AKG, and has a 13 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus. I have used my tablet for Facebook Live as well as to take pictures of important information and amature photography. The tablet is also able to have a micr o SD card in it (see description of tablet for maximum SD card size that can be installed into the Samsung Galaxy Tab53). In one sentence: this i s the best Android tablet that I have ever own.

This tablet has outstanding picture quality although I'm still getting accustomed to its larger size (larger than my S2). The reviews I read prior to purchase are correct in that keeping the tablet securely anchored to the Samsung cover is a concern as it will fall out if not properly held. The stylus is nice although initially I'm only using it to reduce the number of fingerprints to be wiped from the screen.

    Best tablet I’ve ever owned

I’ve had the Samsung Tab S3 for about a month or longer now and I’ve been very pleased with it. For the price you’re getting one of the best screens I’ve ever seen on a tablet. It’s perfect for watching videos and the camera is also fantastic. Taking photos and editing them is a breeze with S-pen that is included. The tablet is also powerful enough to play all the latest games from the Google Play store and more. I’ve also been using it for work. I recently took it on a trip and used it to pull up spreadsheets for reports that I needed, and make notes during meetings using the S-pen. It will never fully replace a laptop, but it’s the closest you’ll get in a tablet. If you’re able to spend a little more for the keyboard, I recommend it if you plan on using it to edit any documents. Otherwise, everything you need it there. It’s a great tablet that I now take everywhere with me.

I am completely satisfied with this tablet. It's a perfect size, but not too heavy as many other tablets are. I played with the pen feature but have since misplaced it since it doesn't have an attachment on the case I bought. I've played several hours of movies on it at work as well. It almost makes it a complete 12 hours of my shift while reading. I'm really glad I splurged and bought this.

    An incredible tablet

I'd been nursing along a Nexus 10 for almost 4 years and decided it was time to upgrade. Being fully invested in Android I first looked at the Pixel and S2. Looking at the specs it made sense to wait for the S3 and I'm glad I did. I purchased mine with the keyboard cover with the goal of making this my go to device for work and play. So far its worked. The tablet is very fast, the sd card provides more space than I can fill, the S Pen is much nicer than the stylus I use on my Note 5, and after owning it for a month I still love it and still unlocking new things. The keyboard cover is a must for the full experiene. The hardest things for me were finding a screen protector but the Zagg for the S2 fits fine, and with no MHL I needed to get a ScreenBeam Mini to mirror the device on projectors and TV's when I travel. This is an incredible tablet and if you're invested in Android it's the way to go.

Such an improvement over my previous Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Easy to use, clear graphics, takes great photos, long lasting battery. Love that it can connect to a keyboard. Just getting use to the pen, but finding that I am using it more than I thought I would.

The good: great screen, long battery life, and wonderful sound with 4 speakers. The included pen makes operating a pleasure. The operation is responsive. The not do good: Samsung loaded the unit with Microsoft software and Skype, which I cannot uninstall.

The Tab S3 is a great android tablet, if a bit on the pricey side. The screen is unmatched for color depth and clarity, and it's very thin and light. Battery life is decent for the screen size and power. Docked a star because Samsung provides nowhere on the device to store the S Pen stylus it comes with. Buying the type cover for it solves that problem, but is an additional expense.

After reading reviews I got this and love it. Wi-Fi doesn't reach out to my patio real strong but fair, my galaxy phone has no problem with that. I wish it was a little lighter but isn't bad. The sounds really lacks though...i wish it was louder, better fidelity, and not so muddy. You'd expect a little more there for this premium price but it's not unusable. That's probably the only thing the iPad has over this. Overall it's snappy and doesn't feel cheap. I haven't used the pen much yet but so far it's great. Wish there were more case options available.

Very nice screen, which is important. Fast processor. The stylus works great. It has a bit of bloatware from Samsung, but you can disable all of that. I like the Samsung interface and widgets. Great tablet for business, games, or videos.

It looks a lot like the 9.7" Tab S2, which I also love, aside from the four speakers, which sound very good, the USB type-C port as opposed to the Micro USB in the S2 and a few subtle differences. (nothing major) It even fits in the Tab S2 cases I have. (although the Auto Wake/Sleep function doesn't work, you have to buy a new case for that) The camera is better, WiFi seems a tad faster, Bluetooth seems to connect faster. Then there is the S pen. Makes it much easier to select and press small buttons and stuff. It's great for drawing apps! I also like the fact that you don't NEED it. It is just a handy extra tool. The new type-C charge/sync cable works well but I had to buy new ones so I could have one at home and work. All in all another really good tablet from Samsung!

I have broke 2 power cables off at the tablet. The tablet still fast charges. One tough usb C connector. The tablet brightness is wonderful. And the four speakers are very good. The tablet is very fast and very responsive. The only thing I regret is not waiting until a cellular version was available. But wifi tethering it to my cell phone and it is awesome.

Overall, the tablet is pretty good. The battery life is okay and it seems to have enough capability for quick notetaking, online browsing, etc. The stylus and pressure sensitivity creates a nice writing platform as long as you aren't expecting Wacom level of tech. However, the stylus/handwriting lags significantly in OneNote, so that's frustrating. I found it worked better and faster in the Samsung note app, but that's not my preference so I'm not as thrilled as I hoped to be. I'm currently looking for alternative apps on that part.

I had a Galaxy Tab S2 and upgraded to the S3. The tablet is faster and the display is better. It also has four speakers now instead of two and sounds better. It's very well built tablet and the S pen is an added bonus.
