This tab isn't laggy like most tabs coming from a tab pro 12.2 this one is smaller but it's a solid tab nonetheless

We bought this tablet to replace an ipad Air 2 but were very disappointed. It was very laggy with game play especially Fortnite. The ipad at 2 years old and half the price was superior in game play. The pros are that graphics on the Samsung were amazing so its enjoyable to watching videos and YouTube on. The other nice feature is having Microsoft Word for school work.

Enjoying my new Samsung tablet. Did a lot of research before buying my new tablet. Very fast, great picture on screen. Streams movies without a lot of buffering delays. Chose android because I like the expandable memory. Would recommend.

I haven't bought many tablets since laptops and computers are more powerful but, I needed to get one for College inorder to organize my notes better. I used to think that all tablets were the same and used to only buy cheap $100 tablets like Insignia. Not that Insignia isn't bad but, the computing power is poor and lags some. I was blown away at how much faster this tablet was, on par with my desktop/laptop. The best feature this tablet has is it's pen. Especially when paired with OneNote, Its the best note taking machine I own and the graphics are on par with my desktop. It doesn't lag like my old INSIGINA tablet. 5/5

This is a good tablet, a nice step up for the galaxy line. This tab still has some quirks though. Whats in the box: The tab, S-pen, charger and charging cable. Design: While this tablet looks nice, it does have a cheap feel to it. I honestly thought the glass on the back was a plastic protective cover, after I spent some time trying to peel it off, I realized that it was, in fact, the back glass. It just doesn't have a super solid feel to it. Features: Sound, the sound is great. multiple speakers allow for good sound no matter how you're holding it. S-pen: I like the S-pen. No need to charge the pen, at all. The pen does though, feel a bit cheap and rattles a bit. I don't have much use for the pen. Some of the features are nice, such as hovering over the right hand part of the tab and having a pen specific menu pop up automatically. facial recognition and iris scanning unlock: needs work. A lot of work. This hardly works. I wear glasses, and you have to be very specific if you're wearing them or not. Even so, it works maybe 1/4 of the time. I find myself getting frustrated and tapping on the screen until it lets me type in my code. This alone is very frustrating Screen: gorgeous. colors and brightness are great, very clear and a nice size. Touch responsive is good. Nothing magical, but good. Samsung "DeX" mode: This is one of the main features of this tablet, that I just don't see the use for, even if it worked well. This just seems like a feature they wanted to have, so they patched it together to work. When you're in this mode, it is supposed to act like a desktop, which I just don't get. I'm not going to lug around a bluetooth mouse to use with this. You don't HAVE to use a mouse, but without one whats the point of making all the icons tiny and hard to touch? Also, this thing gets laggy when in this mode. It takes multiple touches to close windows, and even some of the basic android apps pre-installed on the device aren't designed for DeX mode. I've used this mode just a couple times, and couldn't figure out why it even existed. This is one of the main touted features, and it just doesn't deliver. Apps tend to crash a lot. Now, some of this will be able to be fixed with software updates, but as of now, it is just "half baked" Overall: It is nice, but not worth the price. I would recommend another tablet.
