Customers are saying
Customers regard the Galaxy Tab S5e's large screen, long battery life, and light weight as significant advantages. Many appreciate its ease of use, ample storage, and good sound quality. However, some users experienced issues with Wi-Fi connectivity, particularly in landscape mode, and the lack of a headphone jack was a common complaint. A few also noted concerns about the fingerprint sensor's placement and responsiveness.

Nice Mid range Tablet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought S5e with 128Gb 6Gigs ram. First impression is that this tablet is very good and is fast with Snapdragon 670. Samsung did a good job with design and hardware. Comparing to 6th gen Ipad with A10 they are about equal in speed although the 670 might hold a slight edge. This is a great alternative to S4 tablet which cost much more.

Staunch Apple user...but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a staunch Apple user for many years. I still am. I needed to upgrade my iPad recently and needed to work within s strict budget. Comparing Samsung tablets to iPad's I couldn't help but realize some of the benefits this Samsung tablet brought to the table. Apart from the exceptional processor and awesome screen, the amount of on-board RAM, and additional option to add an external memory card is what help sway me to purchasing this tablet over an iPad. For the equivalent specs in an iPad, I would have had to fork out roughly an additional $400. That's a huge chuck of change. I have had to make the transition from IOS to Android, but so far I'm extremely happy with this tablet.

Nice tablet almost
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to pick this tablet up the day before release and it's a very nice tablet. Screen is great and sounds good too. Only one thing that's gonna make me return it. When you hold it straight up and down your fine but when you hold it sideways in landscape position your hand naturally holds both sides and therefore covering the wifi antenna on the backside of the tablet and wifi coverage drops out. Soon as you move your hand to the bottom or lay the tablet down internet pops back on. I'm returning this until Samsung figures out a way to stop the wifi dropping when touching the back of the tablet.

Great media device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my tab S with the gold128 GB version and the operation and display clarity exceeded expectations . Nexflix,YOUTube and my Cable stream -Spectrum - match the display clarity of my 4KQLED TV, including 4k streams from Netflix .The speaker audio is pleasantly suprising and a usb-c adapter cable for use with a headphone jack is provided. Setup and installation is clean and my apps from my old TAB S were successfully recovered and installed. Power up is snappy and I like the full layout of open apps. I didn't find the lack of a physical home button a problem . Hand held operation can take a little getting used to as grip can be a little slippery . I can't wait to try the photo and video.

Unusable for handheld gaming and media
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my aging Samsung Galaxy tab A. I REALLY want to like this tablet. The extra storage for games and apps and the speakers are great. However, I cannot use it as a handheld device as I do the Tab A. The wifi antennae is setup such that holding the device on the sides in landscape mode causes the signal to stop. I use it in the same place in my house with the same WIFI. Never an issue with the TAB A of my Note 8. This is very frustrating when playing an online game or streaming video as the app must be closed to resume connection. Samsung has lost a step in design with failures on the Galaxy fold and now a failing tablet.

Great tablet for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned many iPad models since gen 1 and while they're great tablets, I got tired of looking at an LCD screen especially at night when you can clearly see the backlight even on lowest brightness. This tablet is great for watching movies, speakers are good and loud without noticable distortion and while it's very thin it feels sturdy. Overall I'm very satisfied.
