Awesome tablet...perhaps the critics should use the S7 as the new standard because it gives it's primary competitor, the iPad, a run for it's money. Purchased to replace an S2 for travel media and web use and extremely happy with the decision to do so. Bought the 128GB version and added a 256GB micro media card for movie storage and WOW. This is a fantastic tablet and with the included "S" pen, it only increases the capabilities. The screen resolution, the speed - at this price point? Who would have thought. If there was one thing I would change if I would be to include a headphone jack instead of the utilization of blue tooth only. This is the tablet to toss that Apple back in the barrel.

This is an awesome tablet !! It is fast it looks fantastic it’s the perfect size I love the pen the sound on this tablet is incredible it’s surroundsound you can hear the sound all around you but this is a fast tablet extremely responsive I still have my iPad from two years ago but I find myself liking and using the Samsung tablet more a lot more than my iPad. Bottom line this tablet is gorgeous I guess I would say that the colors pop it’s just and awesome tablet Buy it you will not be disappointed I am a tech guy and Samsung really knocked it out of the park this time especially for an Apple guy like me !!

Pros: - Display looks really good, comprising refresh rate, quality and size. - Processor: Every game and app look smooth and fast on this tablet. - Pen compatibility: Samsung note is a strong app which helps students a lot. In taking notes and editing slides. - Battery: Full day battery life is guaranteed. I never ran out of battery during a day. Cons: - The biggest problem of this tablet is software. Android on tablet is just bad. Samsung is trying to provide a desktop look by DeX but it is just not enough. File's locations are unknown, it is not compatible with any cloud driver, pdf viewers suck in android and a lot of applications are not working well in android. And it was my biggest drawback from this tablet. Overall view: If you don't want a tablet for multitasking and you just want to enjoy going through social media, and stream videos, this tablet is a great choice. But if you want to use this tablet for work, moving files and work with the software, it is not a good tablet.

Really do love the tablet. Great screen, fast and easy to use. Very light as well. Only wish the s-pen was able to be held on any side of the tablet, instead of the back of the tablet.

Samsung tab s7 is one the best Android tablet available. It has excellent screen and great sound. It is fast and smooth. Good battery. Suport S pen. The unit is light and good looking!

I almost overlooked this tablet because of the display. I'm still not in agreement with the decision to use a TFT display instead OLED but I must say that for being almost older technology, it is truly a nice display. You won't get those aesthetically pleasing deep colors like you do with Samsung AMOLED but I'd say the display would be the top of its class. Everything is about this tablet is excellent. The battery last at the very least a day, even with heavy use. The ability to use three windows at the same time is a welcomed feature. The S-Pen is still an integral tool for taking notes among other features and wireless DeX makes this tablet extremely versatile. You won't be disappointed at all.

I've had the tablet about a month now and love it.The ability to write on the screens instead of using the keyboard is absolutely amazing. It does take some getting used to but well worth the practice. I use it throughout each day even started journaling on it instead of multiple notebooks, the notes app is so useful. Took some online courses as well using the splitscreen was so helpful to take class notes. I rarely use my laptop anymore. Just so much more convenient to use this.Its fast, easy to carry around, and so many great features. I honestly don't know what I did before this. My productivity has increased dramatically.

Excellent tablet. Meets my requirements for 128 memory; fast processor; large battery with quick charge; and has Samsung quality. Meets all needs for a reasonable price.

Bought this on sale during black friday. Totally worth it! Very easy to use, has the nice desktop feature and is very sturdy. Plus it comes with the pen! Mostly using ClipArt to draw and have not had any complaints while drawing. The display is super clear and huge but you do get tired of holding it so having a stand to put it on would be best. Honestly, for the price and what you get, it's worth it and even better if you get it during a sale. Haven't checked out Apple's Ipads but in comparison, you get a way better deal and can find plenty of other features that may make up for it.

This tablet was purchased for our son who is a college freshman. In the first two weeks it has served as a laptop replacement, and with the addition of the official Samsung keyboard case, it has exceeded expectations. Snappy, vivid display, and easy to use. Samsung has one of the best tablets on the market right now, bar none. We now have 3 in the family and are equally impressed. No brainer to purchase if you are in the market for a tablet, especially if you are deeply embedded in the Google ecosystem.

I upgraded from a S2 to the S7 as the older tablet was getting slightly (lol) glitchy. At first I was wondering why you would use the S pen, and now I am hooked. The only issue is although the tablet is lightweight, the cases are too heavy. And not all cases fit. I finally gave up after purchasing 3 returning 2, realizing that this was a major defect in all the S7 tablet cases. I did the Smart Switch myself of pictures and apps. I did think it is overpriced considering that tablets are rather simple machines now, but overall, pleased.

In short, this is a great tablet. I actually had the S7+ for a little while, but while I liked the larger screen for visibility, the larger size made it a wee bit unwieldly for handheld use, so I sold it and "downgraded" to the regular S7. Performance-wise, I'd say they're both really similar though I didn't check the actual CPU specs. The S7 is plenty zippy for all I need it for. Screen-wise, the S7 is NOT an AMOLED as the S7+ is. However, it's an EXCELLENT screen so don't be put off by that. I also had an S6 lite, whose screen was definitely on the "meh" side. The S7 is oodles better than that. One other reason I like the S7 a lot is the Samsung keyboard case with the trackpad. I was turned off by lots of negative reviews of the S7+ keyboard so I never did get that. But the S7 keyboard seemed to get better reviews so I sprung for it and I like it a lot, except for the fact it's not backlit. Battery life seems just OK, but I got an open box one, so who really knows how many miles the battery already had on it. The keyboard with its brilliant kickstand makes this tablet verrrrrrrrry similar to a Microsoft Surface. So if you want something like that, but Android, this tablet is just the right sweet spot - especially now that it's obsolete and on clearance clarence! Lastly, I decided on this over the lower-model iPad because I have other Samsung devices which I like, and this has USB-C charging, a micro-SD slot, DEX, and an interface I'm already familiar with. That said, the iPad also has a great screen and decent interface. If I had more Apple stuff, I might have swung that way.

Had the Samsung galaxy tab A for sometime now and it's worked really well for me but it had only 32gb of storage and I wanted something with not only more storage but a bigger screen. I tried the galaxy 7plus but that was actually too big to hold in my hand. This is very comfortable and slightly bigger than my tab A. It seems to be much faster along with 128gb of storage. It was the perfect solution to what I wanted. Snappy, colorful and the pen is included. I recommend this to anyone.

This is the best tablet I have owned. The S7 is the perfect size in my opinion, not too small and not too big. It's buttery smooth and I haven't had any issues with lag running multiple apps. The multi-function pen is awesome as well and writing notes feels so natural. I thought about the S7+ but the picture quality on the S7 looks great and anything bigger than 11" may seem too bulky. This tablet will not disappoint!

Love, love, love this tablet! My 5yo daughter commandeered my Galaxy Tab S5e, so I upgraded to this one. The screen is amazing, the performance is smokin' and the pen is actually useful. I've never been one to do much "work" on a tablet, it's mostly for reading, movies, doomscrolling on Twitter, etc. and it excels at all of those. Highly recommend if you're in the market.

Our family owns two of these tablets and we love them! They are fast, easy to use, have a GREAT battery life, LOVE the S-Pen, and all of the features! Although ours do not connect to cellular (Wi-Fi Only), we don't really use ours other than at home anyway. For anyone looking for a speedy reliable tablet, you won't be disappointed!

Awesome battery life, stylish and slim easy to travel with and lite weight.

I bought this unit when it first came out and I still use it today. I love the size of the display and the quality of the display as well. It is perfect with the combination of the keyboard for my uses with work/school with email and other programs. It is convenient taking it with you throughout the day or traveling with it.

So I needed to upgrade my tablet that had died last year, it was also the first generation galaxy tab S 10.5 so I had the tablet for at least 4 to 5 years already before it finally died. So I was originally going to get the tab S6 but of course they came out with the 7 so I went with the 7 and boy it's the best tablet ever! It's so easy to use even the pen is easy to use. I honestly didn't think I would use the pen much but I was wrong I use it a lot. This tablets display is so crystal clear even with the screen protector I put on it. If you're looking to buy a good tablet you can't go wrong with this one!!!
