This thing is a beaty!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially purchased the Tab S7 FE because I primarily needed it for work. Overall it was a great tab. But I couldn't deal with the 60hz display despite the TFT display being actually very nice. All my other devices displays are 120hz so I could not "live" with the 60hz scrolling. I would still highly recommend the FE as it is a fantastic midrange tablet. I ended up getting this because of the 120hz and the amoled display. I got lucky where I ended up getting the 7+ for cheaper than the FE with some rewards and a Best Buy Deal of the day price drop.

Stunning Tablet
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So… I’m 100% a Mac and my husband is 100% a PC. We were both getting new tablets, but my iPad had to wait for my second bonus. I have been using his Samsung until then and I LOVE this tablet. It is perfect for literally anything and the screen is just massive. I love the pen so much for coloring and drawing. It’s responsive and easy to use. I swear the battery lasts literally days. With fast charging, it takes no time at all to get back to 100% when it is low. All in all, a very nice piece of technology!

Worthy Upgrade from Tab S4 & Worth Every Penny
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I did not even know about this tablet until I visited my local Best Buy *lol*. After playing around with the demo model, I initially was going to pass, but decided to buy it. Though it cost a pretty penny, I have no regrets. This is a definite upgrade from the Tab S4 I had prior. The difference for me has been night and day. Not that the Tab S4 was not a good product - it was perfoming fine until the day I sold it - but the S7+ blows the S4 out of the water. I've found that on every front, from the screen to processor speed has been improved. It boots up quickly, the screen is vibrant but not to the point of hurting my eyes and I love that it has a fingerprint sensor (my S4 did not). Plus, I feel the S-Pen has also improved, though it is a bummer that the nibs cannot be replaced. However, I found that the feel of the screen helps the pen glide smoother and it does not take much pressure at all to use the pen. The size is quite wide, but this improves the screen real estate and has been a bonus. Battery life is decent. With typical use, I can go about 1 - 1.5 days of use before needing to charge. I do feel the battery life is an improvement over the S4. I almost bought the accompanying keyboard case, but decided to look at other options first due to the price. You can find compatible solutions on eBay (which I almost went with). I finally settled on a highly-recommended combination of a Braecn case and Logitech Logi K380 Bluetooth keyboard because I felt that for my needs, it was better to not have the keyboard and case be one unit. Finally, the screen is so rich and large that I sold my Boox Note Air e-Reader and decided to switch to reading on the tablet instead.

Simplynthe best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best android tablet ever made. It is closest so far to a laptop replacement. I use it for everything ay home. Everything from email to streaming is great. The screen is awesome. It is smooth and snappy. The s-pen is including and is the best experience of any tablet. It's size and price will hold some people back. It is large and heavy. Not exactly the most comfortable for lounging. Also it is pricey. Throw in the keyboard cover and this thing starts at $1000. Even given it's price I love this tablet. For me and my usage this tablet is perfect. It has enough power to do light productivity and a gorgeous screen for Netflix etc.

Really great for media and light productivity
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best tablet on the market, If you don't want to be in apples ecosystem. I use microsoft services for everything and with MS and samsung collaborating all the time it makes this device a no brainer. First of all the screen is gorgeous. Hands down one of the best in any class of devices. The smoothness and the pop are great. Gets plenty bright too. Battery life is great, so it's a nice device to pair with the keyboard cover and take as a travel computing device when you don't want a full laptop. The app ecosystem isn't as great as on iPad so that's one drawback. But if you go in knowing that this is mainly a media or very light productivity device, it shouldn't be a problem. I really enjoy the Samsung Notes app so I use that for taking notes in class and it syncs with OneNote online so I can get it on to my pc. I wish this was integrated with the onenote for windows 10 app but hopefully in the future that will change. It also seems like samsung is working on getting updates out quicker. I didn't expect android 11 to come so quick (compared to other device makers, samsung tends to be rather slow). It brings some nice visual changes. This device is also super light, which is nice for something of this size if you plan on using it for an extended period of time. The pen is pretty good, but you don't get any replacement tips like you did with the tab s6. Mine already looks a bit worn out.

Amazing for content consumption
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The app ecosystem for Android just isn't as good as it is for Apple's iOS, but if you prefer to stay in the Android ecosystem, this is the best of the best. I bought this primarily for reading small text with my older eyes: e-textbooks, PDFs, digital comics, etc. The other Android tablets were just slightly too small for this purpose, and I was honestly considering jumping ship to iOS when this was announced. Now that I have it, I can say that reading smaller text on this thing is a dream. If it has a downside, it is that it is a bit too big and heavy for holding in your arms for prolonged Netflix binges. Don't get me wrong, videos look incredible on this device (pro reviewers agree this is the best tablet screen). The speakers are incredible, which is also great for watching videos. If you are clumsy like me, don't waste time with the official cases as they provide negligible protection against drops. Get a more protective case and any old Bluetooth keyboard for productivity work. I'm told Dex is great for productivity work, but to be honest, I just run office-type apps in regular Android mode, and it works great. I only use this for reading, productivity, streaming video, and social media, so I can't comment on how it is for gaming or how the pen is for art or note-taking, but for what I do with it, it's been a dream.

Best tablet period
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tablet. I've had ipad pro/air. I've also has the Microsoft surface pro 7. There isn't anything out there with a better battery life, a better display or better value for the money. I use it for drawing, gaming and also for work. I never experienced a lag and it handles everything I throw at it like a boss. Great job samsung.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.all the media tablet you need. Not for intensive workflows like video editing. But decent for casual sketching and photo work. S-pen functionalities are not on par with Apple Pencil, but doesn't mean they aren't good. Writing and drawing are way above average. Note taking especially is very good. Screen is made my Samsung and is best in class.

LOVE this tablet!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this for about a month, and I love it!!! I upgraded from an S6 because I wanted the bigger screen and better S-pen latency for my artwork. The video quality on the S6 was amazing; the sound was okay. The video quality on this S7 plus is even better, and the sound quality is sooo much better. The S-pen is as smooth as using a real pen to paper, and there is zero lag. These qualities above didn't surprise me too much because they aligned with other reviews I saw before buying the tablet. But what did surprise me was the battery life. I saw critical reviews about the battery, but that has not been my experience. The battery lasts me 2-3 days with regular use. It's really only when I watch multiple videos that I notice a shorter battery life. The only two negatives I have to mention are price (too expensive) and dex mode. Dex is a little weird and needs more work. Also, I didn't buy the recommended keyboard cover because of price and smaller size. Instead, I ordered Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse (Logitech K780 and M585). They both connect to multiple devices with toggle keys to switch back and forth. The keyboard is for a desktop and weighs too much to travel with, but it's still a great keyboard.

Bought it for Art. Kept it for the Awesome.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the greatest tablets out there. I use if for drawing and writing. The S pen is super responsive. The OLED display is absolutely breath taking. I often times curl up with it to watch movies, read, and journal. It has a lot of power and the battery life isn't bad either. Charging the tablet takes 4 hours at the longest but gives you a lot of screen time.

A great tablet with a beautiful display
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tablet with an unbelievable screen. The resolution and 120hz refresh rate make it a joy to use. It hasn't slowed down no matter how many apps I've had open. The only thing I would say isn't the best are the cameras, but you shouldn't really base your opinion on a tablets camera anyway. I also have the Samsung keyboard case which basically turns it into a laptop, which I would highly recommend if you can get it for a good price. The battery on the tablet lasts a long time and the s pen works great. If you're in the market for a high end Android tablet, look no further.

Great mid-range tablet!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already own an iPad but wanted something for the kitchen to steam TV while I cook but didn't want to break the bank on this one. So, I can give you some comparisons to the iPad. I also wanted a bigger screen than the iPad and this was perfect at 12.4" and much less than the 13" iPad. The screen is visually beautiful. The tablet is MUCH lighter than my iPad, but with that comes less battery life. I charge the Samsung almost every day, where the iPad I don't have to do that. This version of the Galaxy tab has the 4 speakers and it is pretty good. Again, iPad probably wins out, but they are close. But, for my purposes, I wanted something lightweight, beautiful, good sound and at a better price point and I am THRILLED with the bigger screen and absolutely felt I made the right decision over the iPad that is 10" for about the same price. Would 100% recommend. And this would be good for travelling as it is feather light.

iPad Pro 12.9 or Tab S7 Plus 12.4"?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, the question becomes, what do you use your device for the most? Right now it comes down to media consumption, I love the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. The bright OLED Screen, great sound and decent specs make this thing a beautiful machine to watch and consume media on. The iPad Pro 12.9' (2019-2020) - just has that 4:3 aspect ratio, not many shows are available to stream let alone view in that aspect anymore. Sure, you can get the nice cropped bars at top and bottom, but who want's to pay for 100% of a device and constantly use 60% of the screen? If you just want to watch media like Netflix, Hulu, Plex, VLC or such, this is a beast. I've watched full BluRay, UHD BluRay, HDR+ Content, they all look beautiful. When you connect to a power outlet, put it on a stand and just fall asleep watching your favorite movies the S7 Plus pulls so far ahead. When you compare the two next to each other, it makes Apples Display look terrible on the iPad Pro 12.9 (2019-2020). After seeing the 2021 iPad Pro review at 1600nit peak brightness and 1000 nit sustained... well, get your sunglasses out. This compared to the 2021 iPad Pro is about to make us all blind. Pros: Color - beautiful Sound - Loud AF Weight - Light AF Power - Stays charged through some marathon BluRay Streaming Cons: Pricey (799 for a media machine isn't what everyone can afford) Sharp Corners - Dunno why they cut into (not literally) my hands Android (Not the OS, just that my favorite application Infuse Pro is an IOS Only App. Plex is Nice, but I LOVE InFuse) Closing: Honestly, pre-iPad Pro 2021 announcement, if I could have the hardware on iOS I would be 100% satisfied. If you're on the fence about a media machine... no doubt the Galaxy Line has always provided a sweet OLED Experience. It's still to be seen if MiniLED is the future or OLED still king. I still will probably pick up the Galaxy Tab S8+ or whatever comes out next. I just don't want to give up that 16:9'ish ratio. It's just too gorgeous. Coming from an Apple Only user (MacBook Pro, Watch, Phone, iPad's) This device was an easy buy for my single purpose of using it to sit on my night stand for me to watch a show to so I didn't have to turn on the TV and blind my partner in the room while she tried to sleep.

Great Tablet but not a Laptop replacement.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating whether or not to purchase the Tab S7 or the bigger Tab S7+. With the Tab S7+, you have a larger 12.4 inch screen and the nice super AMOLDED display. I ended up getting the 128GB model with 6GB RAM and felt that it was enough power for me for my everyday use. I traditionally use a laptop on the go for all my Microsoft Office needs, Zoom meetings for work, light photo editing, and other daily tasks. I needed a device that was "lighter" but with almost equal productivity ability. I will not go into the details of the Tab S7+ specs, but will write about my overall need for usage. After a week I noticed that for all my productivity needs, the Tab S7+ fell short for two reasons: MicrosoftOffice and weight. I realized that I really needed the full Office suite and the android version was not cutting it for me. I am writing articles, power point presentations, and other work-related needs, and have felt that the Tab S7+ does not cut it for me. In regards to weight, this tablet is hefty for me. My hands do get tired from holding it for too long. Don't get me wrong, as a Tablet this is by far superior to the iPads. That screen is a thing of beauty but it just doesn't meet my own personal productivity needs at this time. I guess I am more a laptop type person.
