Nice looking, feeling cover.

However if your looking for protection look elsewhere. There are no bumpers or lips to protect the device. The cover does protect the screen while in a briefcase or something similar. Ideal for an office environment but not for a drop on concrete.

Best cover out there

As others have said, this is not a heavily padded cover, but it does provide some protection. The main reason I like it is because it keeps the tablet thin, plus, with this one anyway, you have a great place at the bottom to store your pencil. I usually try other, third party covers for my Samsung tablets, but I have never found one that I really like and I always come back to the ones designed by Samsung. I never pay the full retail price for them though, I usually buy them "used like new" when possible. For this one though, Best Buy had a great sale price for a new one, so I went for it. If you can find a good deal on it, I really don't think you can find a better cover for providing some protection while not adding bulk to your tablet..
