Customers are pleased with the Galaxy Tab S8's large screen size, the included S-Pen, and its long battery life. Many also appreciate its ease of use and performance. While some find the price high and the lack of a headphone jack inconvenient, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. The expandable storage is also a plus for many users.

Cracked Screen, No Pen, Gunk ON the Back

I purchased this tablet that had no charger, no pen and was shipped in a flimsy poly mailing bag. The screen was cracked from the corner with crack lines going all the way to the top of the screen. The bottom of the tablet was twisted and cracked. It looked like someone had their dinner on it. I am so disappointed in Best Buy for sending me a piece of junk! I will not order electronics on line again.

I recently got the chance to try out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and this is what I have to say.
The S8 is a sleek and stylish tablet packed with features. Its 11" Super AMOLED display is vibrant and sharp, and the S-Pen provides precise input and pressure sensitivity. The tablet is powered by a high-performance processor and has plenty of storage with 128GB of space.
One of my favorite features is the expandable memory slot, you can put a MicroSD and you don't have to worry about storage.
If you are an Android user you can sync your Tab (when connected to wifi) to get text msg as well as other programs. (I find this very convenient).
I primarily use this for classes, it is great for note-taking, and the battery life last longer them most laptops so I don't have to worry about charging it during class or looking for a power outlet.
The build quality is excellent with a premium metal frame, and the battery life is impressive. While the speaker quality could be improved, it is not important for what I use it for.
Overall the S8 is a standout tablet that is perfect for students, professionals, and entertainment enthusiasts alike.

Terrific Tablet

This tablet has been wonderful to use.
Pros:
The battery life is immaculate. The tablet will last several days on a single charge with heavy use. We use it for streaming, music, and digital art.
The S-Pen fills in gaps several digital pens fail to close. It isn't too thick so the grip is comfortable, but not too thin that it's hard to keep hold of. The rubbery tip makes line pressure in my artwork look very good, and it's very easy to control.
The screen size is much to my liking, making a streaming experience worthwhile. The size of the screen doesn't make anything pixelated either, like many larger screens I've seen.
The tablet is amazing for taking notes in class or on the go. I can transfer them seamlessly to my phone and back.
Cons:
The only con I can think of is that the S-Pen can be knocked off the back too easily and sticks out like a sore thumb. This, however, can be remedied by a proper case.

This tablet is gorgeous to look at with a large, crisp, and vibrant display, for both media consumption and video calling with family, absolutely excels. It's also a beast in the sense that it has easily handled all games and talks I've thrown at it. Watching videos while writing up an email? Check. Playing video games while on a car ride? Check. Video calls in very high quality? Check. The S Pen also works beautifully, and the wireless charging for it is very convenient.

I really do love my Tab. It is fast, good amount of storage and I love the S-Pen. The screen resolution is great and the sound is better on it than my laptop! Battery life is meh, but my expectations weren't high on that. I took off one star because it was supposed to receive calls when coordinating with my Galaxy phone. Nobody told me when I purchased it that certain carriers are not compatible (the main ones!). I even spoke with a Samsung tech about this and after a lengthy discussion and them remotely accessing the tab, they came up with that conclusion. Why is nobody knowledgable about this so people can make informed decisions? I am still getting good use out of it. I just may have chosen differently had I known.

So far I really like it. I wanted a tablet that would be good for play and work - if needed. I actually purchased one from an open box to make it a little cheaper, and it was in perfect condition! I like that it has enough room to add all the apps that don't fit on my phone. It's a very nice size and the pen works great. My daughter uses it to play games on it, and I like the different note apps. Definitely seems like a good tablet for many uses.

Pros: Powerful, snappy when not limited by ram. Good balance between screen size and portability. Long battery life and good at playing graphically demanding games.
Cons: Ok, price, even on sale was abit much for what you're getting. You're better off buying a used highend 15 inch laptop from two years ago for $600. Next issue is the screen. While it touts something similar to 1440P, the quality of if left much to be desired. Actually, the screen was the reason I took it back. It has slow response, despite being 120 hz. The black levels on characters, like say their hair or if they have on black gloves smears. Black text when scrolling fast smears, it's distracting saying black trails on my screen. Last issue is the memory size.8 GBs of ram seems like a lot, but the OS and bloatware only leaves you around 3.6 GBs. Yeah, more than half the ram is gone before you open up your first app. This tablet was built as this multitasking monster, but slows down with 7 google tabs open, and Youtube because the ram is maxed. I was disappointed, turn on developer options and limited to just 3 apps open which helped out. However, the black trails or smearing was something I could not tolerate so I took it back. I was not going to add another $150 to get the 12.4 inch which is too big, but has OLED and 4 additional GBs of ram. Just priced out of consideration.
Conclusion:
I was really looking forward to this model. I didn't like the price but figured eventually it could become a school tablet for my six year old. The smearing from the TFT Matrix screen is the worst part. It looks like 2005 LCD tech. Just bad, too bad to keep for the price. Hopefully Samsung next Tablet to can put AMOLED across the board not use this garbage TFT Matrix LCD screen.

The Samsung Tab S8 stands out for its ideal size, neither large nor small, which makes it comfortable to use anywhere. The S Pen is highly functional and precise, perfect for taking notes or drawing. The screen quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The fluidity of the operating system is admirable, even with demanding tasks. In addition, the possibility of adding a keyboard makes it an even more versatile tool for working or studying.
In short: A complete tablet, with an ideal size, a very useful S Pen stylus, a high quality screen, fluid performance and the option of using a keyboard.

I bought this as a replacement for my old Samsung tablet A. I gambled on an open box item which was offered with a very good discount. It came unblemished. The setup and the transfer of data from the old tablet was straight-forward and without any glitches. The tablet works great. It is reasonably fast and the screen is crisp and bright. I bought for it also a Ztotop case (on Amazon), which provides a good protection and improves handling of the otherwise pretty slippery tablet.
Since I am using the tablet also for backing up my photos when I travel, I got an additional 128 GB micro SD card to increase the storage capacity. Works great.
So far I am happy with this Samsung product and I believe that it was a steal.

This tablet can very easily replace my laptop for 99% of my needs. The portfolio case with built-in keyboard is a must! The common shortcuts like cut, copy, paste is exactly the same as a PC. Alt-tab is very helpful for closing apps that stay open. Battery life is what to be expected because I use the hell out of it. Can't give amount of hours because I do not keep track of it. Sound quality is excellent for my ears! This replaced my Note Pro tablet which I was very happy with but there is no comparison with this machine. The picture and screen quality is great. I did a ZOOM call and the other side was amazed at how clear I looked. They were able to read a document I put in front of the front facing camera. I am overall completely satisfied with this tablet.

I got this tablet because I wanted to emulate other games on it and I was not disappointed. This has the Snapdragon Gen 1, I think? Anyway, that cpu is enough to play most Wii and Gamecube games at native resolution or even up to 1440p. I also use it to play Ps2 games and it does very well. I wasn't initially interested in pen, but once I used it to make a custom icon, the built-in software is crazy useful. The screen is very nice and the battery is pretty alright too, it lasts quite a while on standby.

At first I was sceptical because it is a Samsung tablet, which Samsung isn't exactly known for, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The screen is nice and crisp, with a smooth 120 hz, the included S-Pen is very intuitive, and integration within the Samsung ecosystem is pretty much seamless. I use this for college work everyday and transferring files between my tablet, (which thanks to Samsung Dex, I can use it like it's a laptop) to my phone is near instant. I'd say it's very close to being as quick and seamless as the Apple ecosystem.
