Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this direct from Samsung on impulse because I was offered a very good trade-in on my Tab S6. I did not expect much from the S8 to say I am pleasantly surprised with this device is an understatement. The screen is fantastic, it has battery life for days and I have never seen app updates download AND install so fast. In fact the only strike against this tablet is not Samsung's fault: No enough apps optimized for landscape mode on a tablet (maybe not on phones either). I bought a brilliant Logitech Logi MX Mini keyboard for the S8. It is a bit annoying having to remove the tablet from its case to set on a stand to use even Best Buy's own app in portrait mode. Annoying but not a deal breaker. I find myself using this thing way more than I have any other tablet I have ever owned. Definitely recommend it.
