This tablet was a great purchase. The size took a little getting used to but it functions well.

I've used my share of tablets in my time, and this has to be the best experience I've ever had using one. It's super smooth. It's flipping gorgeous. And unlike other companies, there's a fully functional magnetic S-pen that charges on the back, rather quickly I might add, in the box. Now I understand that a lot of people a looking to move up from the Tab S7+ to this one. To be absolutely honest, That's only for those that want the and greatest version. The S7+ is getting all of the same perks as this model the only caveat is there's a faster processor in the S8+. Okay, and the fact that Samsung is doing 4 years of updates so it's more future proof than the S7+. I mean, even looking at those issues, this still very beautiful and very capable machine. If you've never had Galaxy Tab and you can swing that sticker price, you're going to make yourself or someone you love very happy. Also another perk to being similar to it's predecessor, Is that all of those keyboard cases fit just fine on this model as well. The screen is lovely. The 12 mp front camera takes great photos. Same for the back. All that and it's as light as a proverbial feather. The AKG speakers sound really good for a tablet this thin and basically, I can seem to put it down. Get this thing. Get it now.

I bought an open box version of this item. While I can overlook the poor packaging and lack of charger, the online terms for open box state that the product will come with “all original parts and accessories.” This product did not come with the s pen as described. Online support was unable to help and told me to go to a store. Upon arrival at the store the worker helping me was rude and provided no advice other than I would have to “accept the missing accesories because its open box.” His manager had to direct him mutiple times to check for avaliable alternatives and rather than doing as instructed attempted to falsely advertise an inferior product as equivalent. After pointing out the discrepancy in proccessors he then tried to pressure me into store credit instead of a refund and made rude comments about wanting to return the mis advertised item. I tried to use best buy as I thought it would be more reputable than amazon but clearly the QA department is not at the level you would expect from a major corporation.

I researched lots of tablets before I choose this one. I’m so happy that I did. This tablet is spectacular, brilliant screen, vibrant colors. Battery life is excellent. It is super fast, the perfect size to hold, whether doing photo editing or watching a movie. It is a fairly recent purchase so I haven’t yet used the Dex software along with the keyboard cover I bought. But other people praised how it worked, so I think I will be happy with the results. I will do another review later on, but so far I am super pleased with my purchase.

Battery is CRAZY in this thing. I write a lot and dont need to have it plugged in on a full charge even if I grind for a day and a half. Sometimes it sits untouched for a week or more and it has never died. Never saw it go below 30%. Its nice to have a micro SD card slot as well... I have about 500gigs of storage now and keep all my pictures on it. Also has an amazing processor. Seemless switching between apps and havent had one crash yet. You get what you pay for this device is fantastic. WAY more user friendly than my surface book pro was too.

The Galaxy Tab S8+ has the power to perform just about any task thrown at it. It's fast and responsive. The screen is the star of the show. Vibrant and crisp. The battery life should lay at least 2 days with moderate usage. Only draw back is not all apps are optimized for use on a tablet but they still work. I definitely would recommend.

This is the best tablet on the market in virtually everyway. The size is excellent, the AMOLED screen is excellent, speakers are excellent, SPen is excellent, and battery life is very good. Thin, light, well-made, and easy to handle. I love that the SPen is included in the box. There is a micro SD card slot for cheap and easy storage expansion, unlike most other tablets (especially iPad). Front camera quality is great and Auto Framing feature works well. Samsung is also very fast with OS and security updates vs. most other Android tablet makers. Add in the Book Cover Keyboard and DEX mode and you have a laptop replacement that for many could be all the 'computer' they need. If I had to nit pick, the AMOLED screen is a bit too warm tinted by default (easy to change) and could get a little brighter. The 16x9 aspect is fantastic for watching movies, not as good for productivity apps. But seriously, this is one fantastic tablet and really the best overall available. The size is perfect too, not too small (Tab S8) and not too big (Tab S8 Ultra) but just right.

Great quality, I was worried with the snapdragon gen 1. This being said battery life is surprisingly good and performance is great. More Ram the better but with 8 gigs i haven't seen used over 5.5 gig. Lastly screen quality is amazing.

I purchased this tablet over a year ago for personal use as well as to take school assignments with me on the go. It’s been amazing! Great battery life, screen clarity, and ease of use. I mainly use it when bringing my laptop somewhere isn’t as feasible/convenient, but I need a larger interface than my phone. I’ve completed school projects, streamed movies/shows, and done art with it so I’m not sure how well it would perform with other activities such as gaming (but I would suspect it would have no issue with most activities). Overall, it has held up wonderfully over the last year, and I’m really happy with it!

The Snapdragon 8th generation 1 is fantastic. It seems like the entire Android tablet market came to a stall for like 3 to 4 years and all of the products were just slow and had old processors and low end screens. This was the first and probably the only one on the market that has the latest and greatest. I was lucky enough to buy the plus version for $599 on sale it was like $300 off I would say you should pay a maximum of $699 for the plus model It's really worth it because you can run tons of apps and it's great for emulation I made mine a little mini arcade system with launch box. The screen is also super clear I watch a lot of movies in 4K. It's also super light portable and has a really good speaker system made by AKG

I got this to replace on older Samsung tablet. The screen is amazing. It's fast and easy to use. One drawback is It's very thin and you'll need a sturdy case.

It is an excellent tablet because the screen is amazing for the price. It's fast and it comes with a stylus! Also, it's big in size but it's light, which is what make this worth it because you can easily hold it with one hand and move around your house. Quite expensive, but compare to what you get for the same amount of money from iPad, I think this is worth it.
