This is a replacement for my tired Tab S4. I tried the Tab S8 and was very disappointed with the screen. This Tab S8+ has a beautiful screen, excellent specs, and is much faster than my old S4. My only concerns: I would like a more square screen (16:9 is fine for movies, less than ideal for reading and other work) and fewer Samsung apps that I can't remove. (I can't really comment on battery life and durability yet.)

I love this tablet! The battery life is excellent, the display is superb, and the size is perfect for me. I do wish there were some better case/keyboard options, but I'm pleased with the one I got. I've tried multiple tablets in the past few years, and this one is clearly better than the others.

Samsung makes the best products. Love the ease of use and the picture quality

One of the best tablets I had so far. Perfect display quality, perfect size, and great speed. I could easily do any task with this tablet. It also comes with a stylus to work with the highest efficiency.

At first I thought it may not be worth the price, its a very expensive device after all. But as a student using it for annotating math & physics textbooks (which is a necessity sometimes) it's extremely useful. I'm able to do things i wouldn't let myself do before because I didn't want to ruin a book or something, and having access to so many pen and highlighter options is awesome. It works really well for doing hw of that type as too. However, I haven't taken notes with it during courses yet, so I'll have to put it to the test. Other than that, trying to get a grasp on the batter life is difficult, it kinda seems all over the place. I'm mostly reading pdfs, which shouldn't cost a lot of battery but they're white background on a high res & high refresh rate display so maybe? The display is really nice and vibrant for media it is quite loud though I wish it were a bit louder. There's not really much else to say about it haha, it's good at what I wanted it for.

I love this tablet. I bought it open box and it came less than its labeled excellent however the manager was quick to fix the error. The tablet itself does everything i need. Long lasting battery. Clear and colorfup screen. Its perfect.

Works perfectly! I used it for leisure purposes when i cook and clean the house. Great way to watch movies or favorite youtube videos away from the T.V. in the living room.

Naturally, the S8+ is faster than my old tablet. The return button, clear app button are not as convenient as older models. The ability to transfer data and apps from the old tablet to the S8+ is a great time saver, and made the presentation look similar to what I have been using. One detriment was the lack of a plug to connect the power cord to an electrical source. It was assumed you had a new USB power outlet, not the standard USB outlet.

I bought the S8+ as a replacement for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 since the S8 has a LCD screen. Outside of the size, the upgrades are subtle. I mainly use it at home as a big screen version of my phone. The screen and speakers are amazing. Video playback is very smooth. I mostly use this in the vertical position so it takes me a second to realize that the front camera is on the long side. Fingerprint unlock is pretty slick. The overall size is fine with me but I can see others having an issue carrying this around.

Have used this tablet for about 2 years. Has really held up pretty well. Battery has been very good for daily use.

Great screen for streaming and browsing reddit or youtube. Reflecting coating would have been a great bonus but alas.

I was shocked on how amazing this tablet is! It’s perfect iPad killer and at a more reasonable price. Multi-tasking on Samsung is unmatched with great battery life

Great size for sitting back in recliner, not too heavy. Purchased Ultra first but too big and much heavier. Screens are awesome on these. Easy set up.

Great Screen and does everything I needed a tablet to do. Like the functionality and ease of use.

I've had my tablet for a little over a year now, and I love it! Has been really great for professional use (note taking and reading/writing documents) and personal use (streaming apps, web browsing etc). When paired with a wireless mouse and keyboard it is a really good productivity device with a compact foot print. Can be a bit large for casual reading though, and the screen could be a bit cramped as a dedicated productivity device, but for all-rounders I think it works well

I was tired of using my heavy laptop for miscellaneous browsing and my phone is just too small for my bad eyes. This tablet is fantastic! Image quality, performance, and the speakers are top notch. I got mine on an open box price so it was an even better value than the lesser processor versions! Just be sure to get a good case because its slippery to hold and the edges are squared so a little uncomfortable to hold onto. Otherwise amazing!

This tablet is truly 4.5 stars, its not perfect but it's dame good. The Samsung tab S8 is my go to tablet, even over my ipad pro 2021 with the M1 chipset. The display is gorgeous with no blooming like my ipad pro with it's gorgeous mini led display. The display on the Tab S8 is oled and trust me oled is the best. The tab S8+ is 12.4in diagonal screen size which is just the right amount of screen to do major multitasking better than ipad pro 12.9. TAB S8 has a SD card slot to additional memory later. And its so lightweight I can hold it for hours. Plus the tab s8+ comes with the Bluetooth Spen which is the best. The speakers are very good. Listen i can go on and on. This tablet is amazing. You must try it for yourself and trust me, you will think me. I had this tablet for 2 months and I still cant put it down once i start using it. Oh yeah gaming on the tab s8 lineup is very good not as good as the ipad pro m1 but its very, very good. Thus is just a great tablet PERIOD!!!

It's mostly awesome, screen looks great. pen is accurate but the nib broke quickly. Tablets aren't really a great value for the price but especially as a college art student the functionality proved extremely useful. Drawing typing and web browsing are all you need it it does it all well.
