The keyboard is sharp, but as others have mentioned lacks backlighting which makes it hard to use at night. There is an image that shows a pen protector for when the s-pen is charging, beware this particular cover does not have a pen shell to keep it safe, you will have to keep it inside the cover. This is the only reason for the -2 stars, as well as the sales rep misrepresented the product they were selling. Other than that, this is a decent keyboard folio.

The magnetic holder for the S Pen is inside the case under the tablet and does not charge the pent. You must still charge the pen on the back of the case which is not good of you're traveling with the case closed.

The keyboard does a good job at typing. It’s very straightforward and feels like typing on a regular computer. However, it’s a bit flimsy. It doesn’t feel as premium as Apple’s Magic Keyboard. The S7 is a flagship tablet, so it’s fair to assume that you’re getting premium accessories. Also, you can’t really tell if Caps Lock is on because there’s no light to remind you. Another downside is that the keyboard is not backlit.

I also like that the cover has a built in keyboard.

I've had no issues with it coming loose. The keyboard is handy and works nicely.

It connects magnetically, and snaps to the keyboard when opened. Very sturdy when open, use it on my desktop with my S8 and works great

I had to learn how to turn of DEX to make the Galaxy function like a tablet. Whenever the keyboard is attached it uses DEX.
