There are not a lot of options if you want a plus-sized tablet & this one is pretty easy to recommend. Yes, the dimensions are pretty big but at least it is not very thick & heavy. The OLED screen is probably my favorite feature. Once you go (AM)OLED, it is hard to go back. This thing is fast and the battery lasts a long time. The camera is so-so but that is to be expected w/ tablets. I also have a ChromeBook tablet & I prefer the Android OS experience much better. It is more like my phone so easier to navigate. Giving this thing 4 stars because even tho this is last year's model & thus cheaper, it is still awfully expensive. Plus it did not come with a charger.

This thing is a monster. It’s a beautiful machine with a lot of power. Not as fast as my iPad Pro (2022) but probably more versatile I’d say. It’s limited by android os imo. Dex mode is killer and the S pen is a little better than the Apple Pencil to me so far. Some apps don’t work seamlessly on this giant screen so hopefully developers will address this, but I’m not holding my breath. A handful of very good creative apps I’m currently using for drawing and music production work well on it. Of course, watching content on it is second to none. It’s a beauty overall.

I wanted a computer but dislike the way windows works. My fiancé purchased this for me as a nice Christmas surprise. Does everything I want. The large tablet gives me the ability to play games and not worry about mistakes pressing the wrong thing. The pen is wonderful and works great as a remote as well. We got the Samsung keyboard for it as well. Such a perfect pair. Remote play lets us play our favorites and it looks amazing with the oled screen. Watching shows on it like Arrow and The Flash give you the best picture I have seen in something so affordable. Saw new people and all the dark spots in shows lile The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The feel of the tablet is unexpected. I thought it would feel flimsy or like it could break but it feels solid. Plus it's pretty light. I am definitely suggesting one to my dad to get my mom. She has bad eyes and this would allow her to play the card games she wants without needing a magnifying glass.

I’ve had this now for over a year and I still LOVE it. I have never had an issue. So many features. The screen size is perfect. It’s so vibrant. Movies look and sound great. The battery life is still as good as when I bought it. Samsung has won me over.

Works great! Been using it over a year now and still working fine. It is fairly large though but my husband is ok with that. I would have preferred one size down but he likes the bigger version. The picture is of his tablet next to s23 Ultra phone...which is a big phone too.

I purchased the S8 Ultra mainly to use for its digital art capabilities given its larger screen than my iPad. I loved my experience drawing with the S-pen and how fine it wrote on the screen. The overall user interface/ experience was a bit clunky and not as smooth as my iPad. I really wish developers targeted more illustration/animation apps for the S8 and 9 rather than making them exclusive to the iPad. If I had to pick one device to illustrate on I would choose the S8 Ultra over my iPad Pro because of the superior accuracy of the S-pen due to its fine tip compared to the rounded tip of the Apple Pencil.

I like having a tablet with a kickstand i can move around while cleaning the kitchen, doing dishes, cooking etc. This thing is amazing.. 14 inches is great for videos and now my galaxy tab s8 12 inch screen looky dinky in comparison. I don't think I can downsize at this point. The tablet is fast and great for games like minecraft as well. I run a bluetooth controller and use the kickstand that comes with the keyboard addon and it is a great setup.

Absolutely amazing tablet! Its fast and simple to use! I use it for everything. I love how big the screen is. I am able to easily have 2 apps open and go over the items on them, without having to zoom in. I definitely recommend.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is a super-powerful, albeit super-expensive, tablet that’s great for work or play. Here’s a brief overview: Pros: Very powerful, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Giant 14.6-inch screen, larger than the largest iPad Pro. Useful S Pen stylus included for note-taking and sketching. Good-looking AMOLED display. 5G connectivity available. Cons: Unwieldy to transport due to its size. Fragile feel; consider buying a protective case. Android has limitations as a tablet operating system.

Very fast ,responsive to touch. no delay. amazing pen as well. huge screen. love watching movies and play games with it.

Fast tablet with a large 14.6" screen that's great for everything. The screen has no glare and somehow doesn't show finger prints. The S-Pen stays securely in place. We bought a case with a built in stand to go with the tablet.

This tablet is awesome. When compating it to the Apple. I have always loved the picture quality. The price was great. I am told the 9 last a lottle bit long. But it you get a wireless keyboard and it already comes with the pen. You are working with grease..... Samsung is awesome.

Simply the best tablet. Runs very well and is super fast. I'm a full time student and used it for school. Used it to take notes on pdfs, etc. The S pen is the best to take notes and even draw.

Amazing amazing tablet. I bought it for school and it works great for all my needs. The only downside of it is trying to find a case but luckily Amazon has a few. Definitely would give it a 10/10 Love the screen size. It’s definitely better then a laptop

Love this device, especially since I got it on sale. This device is huge and super capable for the majority of tasks with an amazing display. I don't think this would quite replace a laptop for me, but it definitely believe it could for most people. My marks against this are that the keyboard case for it is almost unaffordable but worth getting if you can find cheaper and the battery life isn't crazy if you're multitask-heavy. I would recommend this device to a person who wants a 2-in-one and wants a good partner to their Samsung phone.

Didn’t know what kind of tablet to get till the employee told me the s8 ultra is on discount and will not be restocking. He got it from the back and I fell in love with it.

I always enjoy Samsung products. If you want an alternative to an iPad then Samsung would be the brand to go to. Big gorgous screen. It's great for media consumption. If need a laptop replacement then DeX is pretty close for the average person.
