When this item was offered in an excellent open box I got it and it's been working wonderfully. Best Buy has great open box deals when it's offered. Now I use by phone's hotspot to connect to the internet instead of 5G.

I finally settled on this one and am very pleased. Apps run pretty smoothly.

Got it on sale. which was a bonus. The display is crisp and colorful. response times are seamless. We use it for basics web surfing, youtube vids and some gaming.

Good tablet but...

Heavier than the past tablet but probably due to a bigger battery. It does stay charged for a long time. Difficult to turn off, as you have to hold down the on/off AND the volume buttons at the same time. Not very intuitive. The older 10" was more comfortable & easier to use.

If pressing and holding down the Side and Volume button simultaneously to power down your device feels too cumbersome to you, swipe down from the top of your display screen to open your Quick Settings panel. Then find your Power icon and tap it. Then you will be prompted to tap to power off your tablet. I use this for school and let me tell you, it's changed my life. Note-taking got so much easier and better. I can use it as mini-laptop whenever I would like to and converting files or documents is hassle free. Although getting the s9+ would be a big upgrade, this tablet still gets the job done. It comes with Samsung Notes, which is built in, and you don't need to worry about purchasing other note apps like on Apple.
