There were no indications that this device won't fit my Note9. This S pen is for the Samsung tablet series.. Delivery tracking was very good, though.

It wouldn't charge. I took it back. Best buy rep said it could have been a dud or bad one. Gee, thanks for selling a piece of trash, best buy!!!

However, the S Pen Pro Edition is also compatible with the Tab S6, Tab S7, Tab S8, Tab S9, Note10, Note20, S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, and the Galaxy Book. It was immediately recognized by the tablet, charged to 100% when attached to the back, and now the air gestures work. I would say its 100% a good replacement for the S8 Ultra. Its very smooth, feels better than the s pen i had from a previous samsung. Worth it.
