It wouldn't charge. I took it back. Best buy rep said it could have been a dud or bad one. Gee, thanks for selling a piece of trash, best buy!!!

The spot on the back of your tablet isn’t just for pairing the S Pen; it’s also for charging it! Whenever you put the pen on the spot, it automatically charges the S Pen. When it needs a charge, place the S Pen in the designated spot on the back of the tablet. It will begin charging right away. With a Tab S9, it'll work pointing either way. That is false. I bought it believing it will like it said it would. Foldables can only use Fold pens or pro by bluetooth

Just to clarify some information, the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro Edition are both compatible with the Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Fold4 and Z Fold5. However, the S Pen Pro Edition is also compatible with the Tab S6, Tab S7, Tab S8, Tab S9, Note10, Note20, S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, and the Galaxy Book. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a S8 Ultra open-box that didnt come with a s pen, got this one for the s9 as a replacement and it works perfect. It was immediately recognized by the tablet, charged to 100% when attached to the back, and now the air gestures work. I would say its 100% a good replacement for the S8 Ultra. Its very smooth, feels better than the s pen i had from a previous samsung. Worth it.
