Power of a laptop, flexability of a tablet! Saved over 100 dollars on open box purchase

i would certainly recommend the galaxy tab pro s to anyone who needs a 2 in 1 device.

I am a loyal Samsung customer however I am extremely disappointed in this item. I loved it until the keys on the keyboard started falling off and could not be put back on. Fortunately, I had purchased Geek Squad protection and they were able to get a replacement keyboard. However, now, only a few months later the tablet will no longer recognize the keyboard. I am having a very difficult time finding out what is wrong and how to either get it fixed or replaced. For a $900.00 item that is less than 3 years old this is unacceptable.

Everything I wanted in a tablet and nothing short of a laptop! A must have!

I had but one complaint about this computab. Touchscreen disable not available. When typing on the keyboard, my knuckles would constantly hit the screen and knock the cursor out of whack. I returned it promptly.

Screen way too small, hard to see everything. Computer didn't always turn on, Screen never stayed on too long, battery never held the charge for long, would drain easily. Was not always compatible with my home printer. Returned tablet to Best Buy for repair, it was unable to be repaired and was junked. Best thing that ever happened, I now have a laptop computer which i LOVE....so much more practical. The Tablet was a waste!!

I was excited about a windows 10 tablet and I am a Samsung fan. It had too many problems for the price point. The tablet would restart every time I unplugged the charger, it constantly froze with just the OEM programs installed. In all it was a decent tablet but not for the price point.

As a former Surface pro 4 core m owner (I had two malfunction on me so I just returned them), I can tell you the things I liked about the Samsung vs the Surface. They both feel equally as fast so we'll call that a tie. The super amoled screen is way better on the Samsung despite the higher pixel density on the surface (still nice though). USB-C is reason enough to ditch the surface and get the Samsung in my opinion (especially since now ALL my devices are usb-c and I just carry around 1 charger for all of them!). I'm hoping surface 4/surface pro 5 ditches the full size usb port and sticks to one usb-c (just like the MacBook and tabpro). If having the pen capability is important to you then go for the Surface. The keyboard and trackpad are also much better on the surface..hands down but the tabpro is similar in quality to the surface pro 3 (so it's not that bad) I don't think you can say one is better than the other. If you want a relatively thick tablet (by modern standards) that uses a proprietary charger (ugh) and costs more--then go for the surface pro 4. Otherwise, this one should be fine for you

There are a lot of people wondering if they should get this device or the Surface Pro 4. For me, the bottom line is this... If you want a laptop replacement that can perform as a tablet, I think you should get the Surface Pro 4. If you want a tablet replacement that can perform computer related tasks, get the Samsung TabPro S. I could see this being a perfect device for a High School or College student as long as they are not editing video or running CAD programs. I was in the market to replace my Samsung Tab S so I picked this up at Best Buy for $800. The Pros: Price. I don't think anything out there can touch it with the specs you get. Thin and light, can be used as a tablet lounging around the house. Has a full blown version of Windows 10, not a watered down tablet version. Except for really intensive computing tasks, this device can basically do what your home computer can do. I'm able remote desktop into work servers. Keyboard/Case included. The keyboard is taking a little bit of a beating in a lot of reviews. I had the original surface and the keyboard is very similar to that. I'm just happy to have a keyboard included instead of paying an extra $100 plus for one. Screen, it has a beautiful Quad HD screen Doesn't get hot with heavy usage. No noise, there is no fan so no noise. Cons Keyboard/Case only has 2 viewing angles. Single USB C port. I thought this was going to be an issue but for me it really wasn't. I have a WD Cloud drive in my home and I loaded software from it. Verdict still out on... Battery life. I've only had it a week so I can't really make a great comment on that. How well the Faux leather case will hold up over time. I hope this helps.

So I'm loving this tablet. I first bought the Surface Pro 4 i5 8GB ram and had nothing but problems with the unit. Wi-Fi low signal strength and dropped connection. Typeface cover would not get recognized when removing and re-attaching. Would not wake from sleep and you have to hard-power it back up again. So when I saw that this tablet was released I played with it in the store. The 1st thing that got me was the S-amoled screen. It's contrast and color levels make images pop with clarity. The 2nd thing is how thin and light this tab is compared to the SPro4. It's only a core-m but for my basic home computing needs, it's been working fine. No fan, no noise. Battery life has been great so far 10-11 hrs with typical daily use. The only challenge is the keyboard on the typeface cover. It's included so that's good but the keys are not chiclet so you have to make sure you are on the right key. No other problems so far and cannot wait to get my usb-c adapter to hook up to an external display.

I returned this item after only 2 months of having it, it would not turn on on several different occasions. My mom had to return hers after about a week because of the same thing.

Purchased an "open box" item and it was broken. The keyboard did not work.

Excellent 2 in 1 Windows PC. The 12 inch AMOLED screen and being a Windows 10 PC sold this to me. Best Buy or the Samsung Representative at Best Buyt needs to turn off the auto brightness settings on this tablet PC because it does it no justice with their display model in the Samsung section of Best Buy. Anyway, for a light 2 in 1 PC with an AMOLED screen this can't be beat at this price point.

I know you can't do as much as with the Microsoft Surface but the Tab Pro S comes with keyboard, runs Windows 10 and is a great cheaper alternative. It is fast and the screen is just fantastic. Attache an external drive or use the cloud since the storage may be an issue for some. I am very happy with it.
