Battery not doing well, will not hold a charge, otherwise its great

Mine's defective its green light at the best doesn't turn off even if its off my wrist. Had expected better from samsung

From the perspective of a non-Apple user, but someone who has also had experience with the Pixel/Fitbit watches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is an excellent choice. Let's talk software. The user interface is well thought out and smooth in navigating through the various screens and apps. There is zero lag swiping through the menus or switching apps. Once you have your favorite apps installed (from the Google Play store) you can set the order and even which apps are available directly via swiping the face of the watch. You can also set the long-press of the top button to go directly to a specific app (I picked Google assistant). As far as built-in apps for exercises, they're all there. Walking, jogging, running, HIIT, etc. You have the ability to select various watch faces with some having customization. Compared to FitBit/Pixel the watch faces available seem to be more useful (therefore, less silly ones, which is a pro/con depending on the user). I cannot comment on comparison to Apple Watch as I have not used an Apple Watch extensively. Messaging apps are there including WhatsApp. You can install Google Assistance if you prefer that over Bixby. You can select the default keyboard, which I noticed improved speech-to-text for messaging. You can also setup regular back-up to your phone, which is great if you need to replace/upgrade your watch at some point! A knock against the software is that I have encountered issues where my phone will receive a WhatsApp message and it will be minutes later before the watch receives it. It's not all the time and it may be strictly a WhatsApp issue, but it's worth noting. The hardware itself is quite good. The band feels premium and has not shown any signs of wear in two months I've had the watch (and I bought an open-box version). The watch body is aluminum and the buttons feel appropriately clicky. Finally, the sapphire crystal is nice and scratch resistant. If you work in a hazardous environment I would recommend a screen protector. After an initial learning period, the battery life is a solid 2 days with average use. By this, I mean that at the end of day 2 you will want to throw it on the charger. Thankfully the watch charges pretty fast and your phone will notify you when it's fully charged, which is a nice feature. Why not 5 stars? Aside from the WhatsApp issue, I like to keep an eye on my heart rate. Even though I have the watch set to continuously monitor my HR, there are many times I'll tap on the HR to see that it's actually giving me a number from minutes prior. It will take a frustratingly long time to update to real time again. Also, the GPS tracking seems to be a little bit off. Doing an out-and-back jog will seem to measure the trip out slightly longer than the trip back, which means you have to go a little further on the return trip to make it an even two legs. Lastly, the sleep measurement is overly positive. With Fitbit you can almost never get an excellent sleep score, but with the Watch7 even my worst nights I'm somehow always getting an excellent sleep score. That's not something I can really rely on. So overall, this is a great watch and for an average user who wants it to do everything pretty good, it's a great choice. If you're a hardcore fitness addict and need the absolute most accurate tracking, you may not be satisfied with it.

This watch has been an excellent upgrade from my old fitbit. The features are really nice and I love being able to customize what I use the most. It also works seemlessly with my phone and earbuds. The fitness tracker has options that fitbit does not and works much better than fitbit and I used fitbit for years. Also love the fact that this watch puts up with day to day use much better as well. Seeing how long samsung watches have lasted for husband is also why I decided to get one finally since fitbit watches have been progressively wearing out and falling apart faster and faster with each subsequent generation and their software has been increasingly buggy. I would certainly recommend this watch to other people.

The display is bright, sharp, and responsive — even in direct sunlight, it’s easy to read. I love how smoothly it syncs with my Galaxy phone, allowing me to take calls, respond to texts, and control music right from my wrist. The updated sensors give more accurate heart rate readings, sleep tracking has improved, and the new temperature sensor is a great touch. I especially like the body composition feature — it’s insightful without being overwhelming.

I have to admit, I love the Watch 7 in its green color option. It's a stylish and functional upgrade that feels both familiar and new. While the design is largely the same as older models, the "green" color is a subtle, almost gunmetal-gray hue with a hint of green that looks sophisticated on the wrist. The performance has been amazing, lasting 2-3 days between charges, whether navigating menus or tracking workouts.

It has a great battery life. The screen size is awesome. The overall watch it great. I've personally had a alot of issues with receiving calls and texts which was the main reason i wanted it. I even went through geek squad to see if they could fix the issue. It worked for 30 minutes then back to how it was before. I then called tech.support who advised I use my warranty replacement for another one. I'm still having the same issues. My wife has the galaxy 6 watch and has never had any of the issues im having. I like it for keeping track of my steps and otherwise a good watch.

The battery holds a charge VERY well. It is comfortable to wear, The app is intuitive and easy to use. I love the assortment of highly customizable (free) watch faces. You can set which apps you want to receive notifications from. The 44mm face makes responding to texts and other messages fairly easy, although those with overly fat fingers may say differently. I was able to answer a call on my watch, even though my phone was in another room and the connection and sound quality were quite good. I'm a dedicated Android user and love my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 7.

I recently upgraded to the Galaxy Watch7 and I’m really impressed with how well it balances style, comfort, and performance. The green aluminum finish looks sleek and modern, and the 44mm size feels just right on my wrist—not too bulky but still with a nice screen presence.One of my favorite features is the battery life—with regular use (notifications, workouts, and music controls), it lasts comfortably through the day and night, and charges quickly when needed. It pairs seamlessly with my phone, and notifications come through instantly.

Enjoy using, especially for my daily walks. Provides all types of information. Thank goodness its water proof. Needs rinsing to wash away the sweat salts, which can irritate the skin. Night time sleep monitoring and tips to improve rest are first rate. Synchronizes with my phone consistently, making results easier to read than from the watch. I see no need for the LTZ version. Battery life could be a little better. Get about 24 hours from it. Charging is easy and quick. Changing bands from casual to dress, etc, is simple. Has large selection of after market bands to choose inexpensivly. Really enjoy using.

The life time of the battery is excellent and you don't have to charge it in a couple of days. And the screen size is perfect for me since I use glasses and I don't have to worry to adjust my view.
