It means you can't reuse the universal watch bands from older models. Brought back the rotating bezel which is always good.

Right now it is a month later and I just got to watch today 2 weeks after everyone else got it, what's the point of a pre-order if you get it after everyone else. It's like reserving a car or a hotel room arriving at the location and realizing there is no car or hotel room for you. So Samsung or Best Buy knows how to take reservations, they just don't know how to hold the reservation and you see the whole point of a pre-order is the hold part. Anybody can take reservations but you really need to know how to hold the reservation and get the item to the customer that paid for it. But enough about that let's talk about the watch after I finally received it. I am surprised that Samsung decided to go smaller for more money. My Galaxy watch 6 classic was larger and cheaper than this one. But at least I get 2 years of cellular data which I thought included everything my phone provider did for free. So I thought you know having a smaller watch with more free features for more money seems like a good thing let me try it out and keep an open mind. But every time I tried to activate my watch so I can use the free texting and data I am met with an error saying that I cannot use the free feature that was advertised, and if I want to use it I have to connect it to my cellular network either through AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile and pay them $10 or $15 which defeats the purpose of the free 2-year that was advertised. Now on the positive I do like how the watch sits on my wrist it feels lighter and more snug to my wrist which should give you more accurate readings. So in conclusion I would say get this watch if you haven't upgraded in years and want the latest features without going Ultra but don't get it if you think you will get 2 years free of call and texting like you do with your carrier because that is not the case here.

Then once your device has been updated, please open the Galaxy Wearable app, navigate to your watch settings, then to mobile plans, and finally Setup mobile plans. *Google Fi phone plan not required. No changes to your current phone number or plan required. 4G data speed is included with the offer up to 500 MB per month, after which usage, data will slow to 256 kbps. Data will be capped at 1 GB per month. Voice calling over LTE is not supported. Everything on paper looks INCREDIBLE but the normal functionality of the watch, it doesn't seem well thought through. As when you swipe on a small screen, the recessed glass makes your finger.Hit the edges along with the weird customization of the buttons/or lack of customization. It looks beautiful, but was not functional. Whatsoever, or really easy to use. I also had to try and pair it and updated over and over and over. So :/ get an Apple Watch or Fitbit

I would recommend looking at it in store in case the watch is too thick, but i do like using the dial to rotate through menus. Battery life could still be better and the some may not like the band, but overall i recommend this watch
