I Love This Phone The Thing Missing Is Dex. This phone is so easy to carry and because its a bit narrower than my Note 10+ and iPhone 11 Pro Max the Z Flip is easier to hold. I would love for this phone to have Dex and I think they can add with a firmware update if they choose to.

I first had the galaxy fold and it was nice but this z flip just feels so much stronger and something i can see myself using everyday. So far no issues. Great performance and flagship specs.

This device is so much fun to use. It's honestly the most innovative phone since the first iPhone.

Don't believe all the professional reviews and their off the wall extreme abuse tests. The phone is extremely well made, great build quality, feels heavier & more substantial than it actually looks. The screen is folding glass laminated with some type of thin plastic that does not scratch with normal use. I still don't have not even one scratch on mine but I do keep my nails trimmed short. My finger glides very smoothly over the screen, much more than any slab phone I've owned. You can definitely feel where the fold is on the screen but it's not at all an issue. You can also see a slight indentation at the fold ONLY if the light hits it at a certain angle but it's invisible with the display on. Cameras are great unless you're really into photography. Zoom works flawlessly as well as the normal/wide angle modes and special effect filters. You can make or answer calls with phone closed using voice dial which automatically activates speaker phone. You can also make/end calls by opening/closing phone to hang up. Display is clear, crisp and bright. Sound is loud and clear even though it only has a single speaker. Plenty of battery power and system performance. I'm a higher than normal user and I've yet to kill the battery on an average day of use...I don't play games or watch movies, just an occasional YouTube video or FB. Phone seems to be sealed against dust pretty well and haven't had any issues with dust collecting on screen while in my pocket. Phone is extremely slippery and I do recommend a "Case Mate" cover. It's semi rubberized feel makes this phone much easier to handle while protecting it somewhat against drops or falls...it also fills the gap between the halves when folded. The only issue with it is where the fingerprint button is. The cutout needs to be slightly trimmed in order to get your thumbprint completely on it, works flawlessly after that. If you're looking for a high quality, great performing phone and tired of trying to jam a brick into your pocket, I highly recommend the Z-Flip. I bought the 2yr extended warranty only because the technology is so new, but after a month I have no issues whatsoever and I don't think I will have any in the future. Samsung has always produced top quality phones in the past and it's the only brand I buy. Samsung nailed it on this one!

If you are looking for a foldable phone that looks great and works well, this is your phone. It is a bit expensive but was worth it for me. I saw some complain about the split in the middle of the screen but it did not bother me and I really don't notice it. I had just about every Samsung phone (including iPhones) and this one is the smallest and best looking by far (if you are an Android fan). The 4 stars on the Ease of use is mainly for the Android OS. You can control just about everything but it comes at a price as far as ease of use compared to IOS.

This phone feels like you are holding something that should not exist. It's great. The main issue with the phone as a first-gen foldable is that the side bezels can cause issues when using gesture controls. Another issue is with dust intrusion. This phone is not IP rated for both dust and water ingress, meaning the hinge could in theory become a problem down the line. I haven't had that issue yet, however, I made sure to get accidental protection with this device. The tall display is genuinely nice. It makes it so easy to fill the display with messages. The small form factor makes it super easy to put in a pocket as well. Overall great phone, however, it is the bleeding edge of technology. If you are fine with that, its the best folding phone out. If you are not, don't choose this phone.

I was hesitant to purchase after reading the reviews about the screen scratching especially since you can't put a screen protector on the phone - I have had NO issues or scratches. I upgraded from a Galaxy Note 10+ which was good but too bulky and heavy with the case and everything. This phone is light and sleek, the screen and display is crisp. The camera is very good, even without using filters, the selfies look filtered it is so clear. Of course being a Samsung, it has all the great benefits you get from their devices. There are some issues but not enough to make me not love the phone - sometimes when going to another screen in FB, it kind of glitches but fixes itself in about 2 secs. Because of the reviews, I take extra care in opening the phone so as not to scratch the screen just in case so I use 2 hands. You have to have your finger over the sensor kind of just right to unlock the phone with a fingerprint but now, 4 weeks in, I rarely have any problems where I have to readjust my finger. It fits in my back pocket and I love that its compact. Definitely recommend!!

I say concept phone because there are a few major features that are missing from the Z Flip and one being an IP67 or IP68 rating... the fact that I have to baby the phone and if it's raining outside be so worried that water is going to damage it, that is just a killer for me.The battery is average and I find myself being more concience of when and how I'm using the phone and i normally end a day with about 45% remaining. Overall the design is awesome and I love the new take on smartphones but you need to make sure you are ready to sacrifice some added conveniences when purchasing this.

I got the Galaxy Z Flip (Unlocked) in Mirror Purple and I love it. I already knew the battery wasn't going to be all that great but I turned on developer mode and turned off a lot that was uselessly running. You can pretty much extend the battery life on any android device by doing so. I keep the location and Bluetooth off unless I need to use it for Maps and I use my phone as a phone for the most part. I don't have a Facebook account and only have Snapchat (but I'm rarely on that) installed as far as extra apps are concerned. I don't have any games installed either. Throughout the day I only eat up about 90%-85% on a regular day of light use. On a heavy day I can get down to about 60%. I'm not the average user so if you are looking to use this as a full-fledged smart phone (even though it is a full-fledged android device) look elsewhere or wait for the technology to progress for flip devices. This is a promising beginning for smart flip phones thus far.

I bought this one for my wife and she loves this phone. she doesn't care about cell phone technology as long as she get on the internet, text, make and receive calls however this one makes her changed. She loves the color and very comfortable to carry the phone like put it in her back pocket and her small purse. It got nice camera features include take selfie when it folds, multi tasking, 256 GB is pretty huge and 8 GB ram boost up the speed. The battery drains little bit quick and I wish the front screen is bigger so we can see better when we take selfies also make capable to read the messages so don't have to flip the phone more often.

This phone is definitely a eye catcher. I get compliments all the time. I love all Samsung phones. Works well no issues. Works just like any other Samsung. I take care of my phone I dont use sharp objects on my screen I keep it closed if not using and keep a case on it . I don't let kids play on my phone. It's too expensive so take care of it. The price is too much considering it's not waterproof or 5G

Before I order it, I first wanted to check it out in person so I did. I gotta say it's the best thing ever. It's innovation, has great specs compared to the razr plus it's a bit cheaper too. It has glass underneath the plastic screen which gives it a better feel compared to the razr, I recommend seeing the phone in person before buying it because it's not for everyone. Also, take care of this phone because it's fragile.

Great phone, especially for me, because all I was looking for was portability, quality and being able to make calls, use texting, email and WhatsUp - I do not play games or watch movies on my phone, so will not comment on such aspects and ability of the phone support such requirements. But I'm free from having a holster oe a massive case - just fold the phone and put it into my shirt pocket - can't beat that!!!

I just love this phone! I have read a lot of reviews and understand that a lot of people might just not get adapted to it but I did it fast and easily. It's so beautiful and the flip feature is amazing, it makes having a phone much more practical. It's not as fragile as I thought it would be and the camera is very good. I really hope Samsung keep producing this line since I know I'm gonna want to trade this for a better version of the Flip in the future!

I have always been a Samsung fan so when they came out with this foldable phone I had to run right out and buy it I couldn't wait I love everything about it fast powerful Innovative works as it should my only complain and gripe and I knew this when I bought the phone and it's what caused me to take it back is because of the field of work I am in this phone is not water resistant or dust resistant and I couldn't deal with the fact that I would destroy this phone at work so with much despair I returned it hopefully the next one that comes out is water-resistant and dust-resistant great product love Samsung

If you're into folding phones, this is a great choice! Small, compact, and functional. Small window on outer shell is useless and could take a page from the Motorola Razr. Fun device and has proven durable in its use!

I flat out love this phone. I have had it for little over 4 months screen is just as good as when I took it out of the box. I love the reaction I get when people see me flip open my smart phone. I fits easily inside my shirt pocket. Powerhouse phone in a lightweight body. Again I love this phone.

Great phone. Not flagship specs but it folds. Fast enough to enjoy games. Never crashed. Screen feels better then the Fold. Cameras a good. Audio quality is good. My only complaints are outside screen should have been like the razr 2020, add stereo speakers and add Dex. But it folds! Great samsung quality and screen!

I love how the phone flips, one thing that was a disadvantage i can't active it on boost mobile, picture quality is excellent!!!
