I love how the phone flips, one thing that was a disadvantage i can't active it on boost mobile, picture quality is excellent!!!

best phone out. I missed having a flip phone but couldn't go back to a "dumb phone". This gives me exactly what I want. Yes its not ultr s20 camera or specs. But its good enough for me. And its folds. God, it folds.

I have S7-S10, I know if I choose S20 this year, it will be nothing but another boring upgrade. after one week of usage, I will barely feel the difference. However, this thing is totally different, and I love the change. perfect for light and medium usage. BTW, a Protection plan is necessary.

I like having unique tech. So this device is a go for me. Screen might not be the conventional gorilla glass but it's very vibrant and bright. The ppi density at 425 displays sharp text. The crease doesn't bother me at all and I like that it's pocket friendly. Best part is I picked mine up for $700 open-box and all the contents were still new. This phone is DEFINITELY worth $700. Deal of the year

A good first effort! Terrible battery life. Standby time is the worst I've seen in two years. I recognize this phone must have a smaller battery, but Samsung could optimize their software to give the phone better battery life. Apple is good at that, so are the new Pixel 4a's and 5. Shame really. Secondary display is utterly useless. Main display is very good! Great build quality too, nailed it there. Great cameras, don't believe the bad reviews. I found them excellent for most people and on par with galaxy 10 series. There's definitely hope for future flip phones, and I'll be watching Samsung and this space carefully!

Form factor is awesome! It folds! Great specs. Missing dex, outer screen should be bigger but if your looking to get away from thumbing your phone all the time its great. Day to day I like it better then the fold for portability and functionality. As a phone works great. If you want something more powerful grab an iPad. I carry an iPhone (imessage) and iPad pro 11. This is a great addition. If imessage, iTunes and Apple remote were available on Android ot would be my only phone.

This phone easily fits in my pocket, yet opens to quite a big screen. The pictures are clear, and the functions are easy to manage.

I was one of the lucky ones to get one of these phones on the first day they were released. So far I am loving it. If you can get your hands on one of these I would definitely do it. Worth every penny. High-quality high value best screen I’ve ever seen. If this is the new direction phones are going I love it. Just flipping for my flip.

So far so good. Its pretty and works well. This is my first smart phone, so it was overwhelming. It took a lot of time to get use to but it works. Everyone has completed the phone and so far easy to store. Watching videos is easy and talking is good. I still need to do other things on the phone to make it fit to my personality, but so far so good. Plus, only wanted a flip phone and got it. It says it is purple but it is like a pink to purple. Still like it, yay.

This is a much better effort by Samsung than the first Fold. A lot more stable as well. Too expensive just to have a folding screen. Mark my words, prices will be coming down in the near future. Blows the Motorola version into the water, based on specs and quality.

I’ve contemplated on getting this as it doesn’t come cheap and gets mixed reviews but I decided based on what I want my smartphone to have and what I’m willing to trade off. So I gave in to buying it and I’m quite happy with this purchase. I gave up my iPhone and excited to test the waters with a flip phone. It has an impressive display and I’m not really bothered by camera so my opinion on its camera is not affected at all. My only want that I didn’t get is the Thom Browne edition that I can’t find. But, thumbs up for this. It made me a believer that innovation is not dead for smartphones. Samsung got this one though.

I bought this in March 2020. First, I paid about 200 dollars more for this than the top of the line Samsung at the time, which was OK because I wanted the fold feature. 5G was just coming out and it didn't have that technology that the top of the line phones had. You would have thought Samsung would have included that. After about 9-10 months, I noticed scratches at the crease. It didn't really affect the function of the phone and was not too bad. All of the sudden, about 15 months (July 2021) after purchase, the screen just broke...no crack, no shock, I just woke up one morning and the screen was blacked out underneath the outer layer. There is no crack in the outer screen, but it just blacked out, so I now realize those "scratches" were probably cracks in the screen and moisture got in (it's been humid this Summer). I love the idea of a foldable phone. Functionally, it was great to have a phone that fit in my pocket, but the technical specs were just inferior. And most of all, I should get more than 15 months out of a $1300+ phone. I was drawn in by the beauty of this phone, but ignored the shortcomings. The estimated cost to get the screen replaced was around $500. It's not worth it. Until they perfect this tech, stay away.

Finally!! A phone that fits in your hand and runs amazing. Its perfect for my grandmother who wants a good phone and has arthritis in her hands. She can carry this with ease. Her last Samsung was so bulky she hated carrying it. I'm so relieved this finally came out. So worth it.

So far works great. Worry that new glass will fail. Got geek insurance. I still prefer IOS over android. If Apple comes out with flip phone maybe consider

It's very sleek but very slippery even with the case that it comes with! Although the specs isn't as good as the S20, it is still an amazing phone! It never gets old flipping the phone. Fits better in your pocket without sacrificing the screen size. I love it!

The phone is heavier than expected but has a very high quality feel. The display is gorgeous. It performed flawlessly. BUT, you cannot open it with one hand. I have big hands, and tried for 10 days to get used to it. I couldn't. As a result, you must have two hands available access the phone. It made my Galaxy S10 seems like an ease-of-use dream in comparison. So I returned it. But I give Samsung enormous credit for continuing to innovate and bring new form factors to market. Compare it to Apple, where iPhones look exactly the same, only bigger (because Samsung introduced the Note series) than they did in 2007.

For something so expensive, why give us such a cheap and ugly clear case? The leather case should be included with EVERY Z Flip. Not this ugly, almost gameboy feeling plastic clear case. It collects dust and fingerprints worse than the glass on the device. Device is awesome, but come on Samsung, major oversight in your packaging.

I like this phone alot. The only negative is the battery life, which isn't terrible. My Samsung s10 5g battery life was awesome!

Listed by Best Buy as "Open Box, Excellent Condition," it was "as new" or as close to it as I can imagine and around 1/2 the price of a new, unopened item. All accessories were present and appropriately packaged. An unexpected bonus was a cover case included in the box. Shipping was very quick and it arrived before its advertised delivery date. The phone is perfect for my wife and was a delightful surprise at Christmas. Battery life has been excellent (in excess of one day) even though she watches live streaming video a lot. The screen is superb and the sound volume loud and clear. Switching her T-Mobil account over from her old Samsung phone to this unlocked one was quick, seamless and painless. Reception has been flawless and much better than before on her old 4G LTE phone. We are delighted with the purchase, give it a full five stars, and two thumbs-up. Well done, Best Buy!
