4th SAmsung flip phone in less than 2 years, great form factor, durability with fold/flip screen is very short; get a protection plan.

I'm blown away by this phone. The folding high refresh rate screen is very nice. You do notice the crease from time to time but overall it is no big deal. You get used to it. It is very well built and I love the noise it makes every time the device closes. It gets a lot of attention, I have had people gasp when I fold it. I love it! The battery life is not as bad as many make it out to be and has actually improved with software updates. The included screen protector feels a lot like glass with a nice smooth finish. Not plastic or soft feeling at all. I like that the screen protector never gets scuffed as it is always closed in my pocket and protected from damage. The front screen is good for reading texts and previews of emails. You can respond to texts on the front screen by enabling Bixby voice and talking out your text. Very useful as Google Assistant does not allow you to do this when the phone is closed. The only downside is the lack of dust resistance. Dust can get stuck in the hinge from time to time and cause it to grind. Usually it will fall out within a couple of uses but slightly annoying. I have found it helpful to blow on the hinge like an old video game cartridge and it clears the dust out 99 percent of the time. The bottom line, this is very similar to any other high end smartphone experience, the only real difference.. It folds!

I have only two complaints. I wish it was available in 512g memory & better battery life. Works as well as any Samsung phone I've ever owned. I really like it for video call. You can fold to an L shape and just sit it down like a tablet with a kickstand!

I purchased this phone for my mother as an early birthday present. The previous phone she had was a Samsung Note 8, so this was a total upgrade. Being a flip was a bit nostalgic for her so she loved having a flip phone. It definitely protects her screen from falls which thank goodness hasn't happened also folding into a small form has been great for her pocket. Since she doesn't use her phone excessively that battery does last her a while but loves the small exterior display which she doesn't have to open the phone to know who is calling her.

I don't watch video's or play games on my phone... so I get around 36 hours on a charge. the outside display comes in handy. I have already been upgraded to Android 12.
